Freddo was never truly aggressive.. He just needed the right people.
Dogs give aggressive vibes when they're scared.
That’s usually the case. It’s sad. People are just lazy and would rather dump a dog then actually try. There is ALWAYS reasons for a dog to be acting out. 4 of my dogs were foster fails, they’re pitbulls and would of been overlooked at the shelter because of their issues and past. They’re all wonderful dogs. Wouldn’t even know they had a bad past if they didn’t have cropped ears and scars, one even has a crooked tail from his tail being broken and was left untreated. My children love them, even my neighbors love them. There are no bad dogs❤️💯🐾
@@DogLover_365. exactly. You have to work with you pets, no matter the breed. Don't just take them to some dog training classes at your local pet store, or even with a certified trainer, and think you're done. And, don't think that, just because you dog's breed is labeled "soft" and "kid friendly" that you won't have any problems. Every dog is different and, if you don't train them properly, can become aggressive. I was mauled by two Black Labs who lives next door. Their owners never spent time, either playing with them OR training them. They had four digs total and, lacking any clear alpha in that house, they made their own pack and Charlie was the pack leader. They got loose one day and I happened to walk outside, just in time for them to swarm into my yard and bite me.
To this day, I do not blame those dogs at all. They got the short straw with their owners, who never came over to apologize, see how I was doing, ZILCH, and I had to hire a lawyer to get their homeowners insurance to pay my medical bills.
BITTOM LINE, PEOPLE. Be responsible pet owners, or don't bother having pets at all!!!
He was unconfident and scared..now he isn't..that's the biggest thing
Great comment, my Vet friend always said it was the owners who caused the problems!
Luke is ex military and a dog trainer. A wonderful human that has achieved; with his work ethic , dedication, passion , tirelessly training in order to re habilitate every doggo that comes to the farm. Please look them up, The Farm Australia .🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺❤️🐾🐾
I found his channel a few weeks ago. He really is a special person (his whole family too) with a magic touch for dogs. The world really needs more people like him.
@@plainjane333 What a treat for you; we’ve laughed, we’ve cried and gees have we learned so much from him. A true measure of a man; guiding their babies 2 and four legs by example along with Sam ; they are both truly an inspiration❤️
@@plainjane333 welcome aboard!💞 I've been a member since 2019....they are a wonderful family and have done so much good.🐾🐾🙏
@@plainjane333 I have followed his channel for a very long time long before it became shelter rescue work for Luke and his family, when they were running the doggy daycare farmtrips. I really miss those videos, even though I love the ones they make now i miss the daycare dogs. I can't even remember the last time I saw Bandit and the other daycare dogs.
Thanks! Will do!!
Rotties are such a special breed . Thank you for saving him.
Freddo is living his best life now ❤
Never seen one with a tail. Here in the states people always dock them. I wish that would stop.
@@bunjijumper5345 Freddo is truly beautiful, inside & out😍🥰. I really wish docking would stop too, it's awful.
Couldn't agree more.
@@bunjijumper5345 in Australia tail docking was banned in 2004.
Poor boy was never angry or hateful he was just scared of being hurt again. I'm glad that sweet boy found his forever home
Just beautiful❤!!!
Perfectly said, Halo! I can't imagine Freddo anywhere but at The Farm❤❤❤😂😂
❤love freddo
He's exactly where he was always meant to be 🎉. He just got lost in the shuffle of shelters. Thank you Dee (Central Coast Animal Care Facility, AU) for rescuing our beloved Freddo, and asking Luke to take him on for training; which turned into a wonderful foster-fail love story! ❤ Freddo has been loved by his family and his adoring YT community ever since his arrival. ❤
🥰🤗🙌
Oh dear, tears all over again watching this. I remember he really was uncertain of water, yet he needed to ‘save the chiildren’ In no time flat, with Luke supporting him every step of the way, he he became a fish, loving every minute, dock diving with the rest of them. Such a special boy with his adored and adoring family. Thank you Dodo for sharing their story. 💚☘️🐾🇮🇪
When Freddo ‘rescued’ Elle, WHO DIDN’T CRY???? ❤
I'm hearing you... I put off watching this until Iater tonight knowing what would happen!
Freddo and Rosco are Brothers in Arms on the Farm and true protectors....with Queen Cutie Pie keeping her eye on them 😂
Freddo on the Dodo❤❤❤. He is a grand old boy who would give his life for the family.
Absolutely! 💖🐾
People let Freddo down until he landed at The Farm and found true love and a forever family.❤😍🤩🥰
That's OUR boy!!! HUGE The Farm fan for years and years now.......
Yes! I never loved a dog so much that wasn’t family. Adoption day will always be one of my favorite videos ever.
Huge thanks to The Dodo for featuring Freddo and the Evans family! We hope that more people are able to see what Luke has been able to do to help so many dogs who did not deserve the early life they had! If you are new, please subscribe and watch The Farm videos! You will quickly come to love these dogs and the Evans family as much as many of us have! ❤❤

When you guys first adopted Freddo, I cried my eyes out 😅

The song that the pretty little girl was singing was the perfect ending to a wonderful story.
Her name is Elle and Evie is her younger sister and then Wolfric their 2 yr old brother.
Wonderful family.

They are amazing.

Yes The children are so precious 🥰🥰. I love Elle accent 💖💖💖💖
The day Freddo ended up on The Farm was the day his whole life began to change. Luke is right. He found the PERFECT home for him. Thank you, Evans family, for what you have done for Freddo and the other dogs that nobody else wanted.
Thank-you The Dodo for featuring The Farm family again and Freddo’s lovely, heartwarming story in particular. Freddo is the dog that drew me into their channel and then to subscribe and become a member. The Evans family sanctuary is an incredible place and deserving of any and all accolades.

Freddo Is Not Aggressive!! He Was Just Tired Of Being Abandoned And No Forever Family To Call His Own!! Now?? He Has The Life That He Longed For!! And He Can Be Himself!!Thank You For Caring!!
I just love Freddo he is the sweetest most handsome boy he has the best family in the world he is now living his best life ❤
@dianeetherson8992 Thank You, Diane!! Freddo is a cutie pie!!❤
I love the pics of all the dogs swimming together in the pool! And without aggression!
I know!! That's what relaxation and calm is what we ALL CAN STRIVE FOR!! Thank You For Sharing This Reply With Me!!❤😊
At his home on the Farm Freddo's known as "the Sherrif", but I think he's really the Prince. I just love that boy.
He almost fooled me. I was like, "but this is such a great family for him 😢" and then it was his family on the other side of the gate!!! It was meant to be! 😍
Freddo the fish, terrified of water until he learned to swim x
The Farm, Luke Evans’ place in Australia, is now home to 20 assorted dogs (as well as two Dingoes and two cats) most of whom have been rejected, abused or been in shelters. Freddo captured my heart, though being on the other side of the world made adopting him impossible. But Freddo was the inspiration for us to adopt two rescues - I always tell them that they have an uncle in Australia. Every dog needs a family - every family needs a dog! ❤
😍🥰🤗🥹🫠💕
Beautiful words that are so true!🙏💖🐾
That was an awesome thing to do.There are so many dogs, cats and other animals that need luv and a good home...
That is so lovely rescuing not just 1 but 2.
You are Awesome 👌 👍
Thank you for sharing.
Bless you!
Thank you to this family for giving Freddo a chance. That’s all he needed-a chance with a loving family who wasn’t going to give up on him.
You should check out their other videos. They have lovingly adopted many ie 20 dogs, 2 dingos, 2 cats and a retired race horse. Some were deemed unadoptable due to aggression/anti social and some have special needs.
Loved how the little girl says “Freddo found his forever home” - my heart melted ❤
We have a Rottie that had been abused, in multiple shelters, abandoned, returned, etc. Been working with her for about a year and a half and she's the best dog ever. Still a little ways to go, but unbelievable progress. What a lover!
All the best to you and your Rottie!
I follow the Farm (where Freddo now lives his new life) and Freddo also is a bit of a lad still. He has worked out that Sam (his human mum) is Luke's weakness! So Luke describes how Freddo will do the typical If Dad says No, ask Mum routine. Rotties are smart dogs, for sure 😂😂😂😂
Thank you for saving this beautiful rottie and finally giving her the love, respect, and chance for living her best life!🙏💖🐾
Great to see the Evans family and The Farm featured again! Freddo is a poster boy for all the love and dedication this family puts into unwanted dogs, cats and now dingoes. Every Farm fan cried when Freddo got adopted, it was a beautiful day indeed.
Yeah, we sure were a bunch of blubbering idiots 😂, so incredibly happy for our beloved Freddo! ❤
Couldn't agree more!!! Heck I'm crying now lol.... He's a special boy....
I cried then and I’m sniffling now. I adore Freddo.
@benignitumor yep, count me as one!..lol....❣💞
Freddo is just one of 22 dogs, 2 cats, 2 dingoes, 1 horse, 5 humans who call The Farm home!!! They are all special, each and every one of them!!! Luke and Sam are the glue that holds it all together!! They rock!!❤❤❤🙌🏻
Luke said something in one of his videos a couple of years ago that has always stuck with me, made me realize how much he truly understands these shelter dogs, the traumas they’ve been through, and the shell-shock they experience inside the shelter. As he explained it, because he can understand these things from his time in the military, he views these misunderstood dogs as though they’re his troop mates, “and in the military we had a saying that you never leave your mates behind. Well, that’s how I see these shelter dogs, they’re my troops now, and I don’t ever want to leave one behind.”
Truly inspiring story💙
Thank you Dodo for highlighting our dear Freddo and the work the Evans family does for rescues. ❤
Freddo is an example of what love and respect can do for an animal.
I hope the Dodo will also feature Roscoe's story. Freddo and Roscoe are the chief and deputy security officers at The Farm, both strong, loving, loyal, handsome dogs ❤
I was thinking the same thing. And Shadow too, an amazing transformation💙🐾
Freddo has had my heart since the very beginning 🥰. It should be noted that when he "saved" his little sister in the pool; he was still pretty terrified of water at that point 🤯😍. He later learned to love swimming and has since been dubbed Sir Freddo the Fish - pack leader and protector of the realm 😍.
Yes, I wish the video had mentioned he was still uneasy around water at that time. His ‘saving’ of Elle always makes my heart swell ❤️.
Amazing how he turned into a fish....
💜🐶❤️
I hit like the moment the girl said he was gentle... That Rottweiler is going to do anything for her!!
That is Elle. Her siblings are Evie and Wolfric. Freddo is the sheriff. He’ll protect his family with everything he has. He’s a beautiful soul.
@loypineda5331It was amazing wasn’t it💙💙💙
There are no bad dogs, only bad dog owners. Bless you for showing him the love so he could blossom!
💯🐾
I don't know where you are but here (Belgium), if you want to know how a dog will behave, take a look at the other end of the leash.

Sweet Freddo. Such a beautiful dog. He is now the "sheriff" over 20 dogs, 2 cats, 2 dingos and 5 humans. He watches over his pack with authority together with his deputy sheriff, Rosco.
Freddo was one of my first loves at the Farm and I still absolutely adore him. I am so grateful to Luke and Sam Evans for saving his life, as well as many other doggy siblings at the Farm. They truly are the best and most compassionate people. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Everyone who follows The Farm loves Freddo he is such a sweet boy now.
Freddo just needed some time and patience. Thank you for gaining his trust and giving him a lovely forever home. He is so lucky...😊
I have followed Fredo‘s story since the beginning. He is my favorite of all the dogs at The Farm.
My favorite are ALL of them but Roscoe and Cutie Pie are my fav. 🥰
I love them all but Freddo, Chancy and Miss Shadow and her girls are special.

@@rover5788mine are Tilly and Cutie Pie… Love all of the others roo of course ❤️🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾❤️
I can't even begin to pick a favorite. They each have such a special story and unique characteristics I could never choose one over the other.
@brendachicoine1250 😂🥰 yup, every time I think... This one = fav. Wait, this one... NVM I give up, I love them all so much😅🥰🤗
Rottweilers are strong animals. They need more than an owner. They need a leader. Be truthful with yourself and get a dog breed that fits you and your life and abilities.
Exactly! Luke is a true pack leader.
THIS!! If you aren't willing to put in the time with training any dog, then get a rabbit. We have a Malamute/ HuskyX the amount of times people stop me and say " oh I want a Husky" and I say "Why? Cos they look cute?" I then tell them about all the time and effort needed to look after them, train them constantly! The stubborness, sass and yes always the hair. If you want a compliant dog, that cuddles when you want, that hangs off your every word and obeys every command first time, don't get a Husky 😄😄😄
I adopted the dog and its paperwork said that it was aggressive. After loving that dog, I realized he wasn’t aggressive with the rescuers. He was just afraid. He is the happiest, rambunctious puppy ever.
Yay! Freddo from The Farm is on the Dodo! ..and deservedly so. He's a fantastic dog living in a magical place, with an extraordinary family. The video didn't show how he ended up such a Mama's-Boy : ) Love you Freddo ❤
Haha true
That was absolutely beautiful❤ I'm not going to lie, I was bummed when he said they found a adopters foe Freddo, then when he walked through the gate to His Family and of course bawled😭
Please check out their videos. They have adopted 20 dogs (german shepherds, boxers, staffies, pitties, a pug, a golden retriever etc), 2 cats, 2 dingos and a retired race horse.
The world is filled with selfish and corrupt people everywhere, it’s also has these amazing people , thanks Dodo for bringing these amazing human stories.
You should watch some videos on their channel. You will love their family and large pack.
Didn't expect that twist in your story mate. A piece of me broke when it seemed as though you were about to adopt him out. The right decision was made it seemed by keeping him. Thank you for giving the dog a second chance that all dogs deserve. You sir are the new definition of being a hero, is.
I almost cried when you said that Freddo had found a family that wanted him and you were getting him ready🥺 but when you opened the gate and I saw your children I laughed out loud 😂 and yelled YES!!!!!! Thank you for saving Freddo from the life of being in and out of the shelters and always being let down by humans before you and your family came along ❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤ The work you do is remarkable and I thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ Much love and blessings to you and your family from the USA 🇺🇲❤️
One of their very best videos but they have hundreds and hundreds of amazing videos.
They are wonderful. I've been following them for close to 5 years. Incredible what they have done.

The children are growing up loving and respecting all animals. They have 20 dogs, 2 cats, 2 dingos and a retired race horse. All but one of the dogs is a rescue. You should check out their videos, you will love them.
The Farm is my ‘happy place’. The best pick me up after a bad day at work!🥰🥰🥰
The Evans have foster failed - a lot. Two brother dogs, Tank and Chopper, brought by the shelter staff along with other dogs to get some exercise on the Farm property. When it was time to go home, Chopper simply laid down on his side because he didn't want to leave. Within 5 minutes, Luke had introduced them to some of their dogs to see Tank and Chopper's behavior with them. They did well enough that they stayed at the Farm that night and never left.
@wadehiggins1919 I love those two, heck I love each and everyone at the farm.
Complete adoration for this beautiful boy spreads far and wide and for all the years of abandonment, he's loving every second of his life, and being loved by everyone who sees this gorgeous dog spending the rest of his days in heaven on earth. Love you Freddo 🥰🥰
Love Freddo. He’s the face of The Farm. To the naysayers, watch the videos before you comment. Luke is absolutely the best. He’s a veteran and He and Sam are a beautiful, loving couple. Their three kiddos are living their best lives with 20 dogs, 2 dingoes and 2 kitties. The Farm community is worldwide and dare I say almost protective of the Evans family, both 2 legged and 4 legged members. ♥️♥️♥️
We are, aren’t we? 😁😁😁
Here, here, so nice to see a normal beautiful family sharing love with each other and their rescue animals, I watch The Farm simply because it always leaves me feeling better, inspired and because Louis is so handsome 😁😁

I believe there are no bad animals. Freddo was merely reacting to the pain & suffering he endured from the mistreatments & abandonment that he experienced from his previous encounters with those human beings that were not kind to him. But once he experienced the love, care & support from his loving adoptive family, Freddo is finally being able to be his true self! ❤❤❤

There was something innately special about Freddo from the very moment he set forth onto "The Farm". It was as if he was harboring worn-out secrets, unwilling to share with anyone. A loner of-sorts, until Luke helped to break down Freddo's untrusting barrier. Sometimes I wonder who adopted whom? The rest is history....Freddo's hard knocks in life gave him the much needed fortitude to preserve until he successfully bonded with his earthly angels, the Evan's family. The rest is a storybook tale...the pauper canine who miraculously became a prince, and is now living his best life. ❤ We passionately love you, Freddo!
Farm member here so happy that Freddo is being featured! At the time, it was so bittersweet watching Luke lovingly prepare Freddo to meet his new family, but when that gate opened and they yelled surprise… well that started the waterworks. (Lord love him, my husband was a bit confused.. he’s so literal minded, Luke said a new family, so wait, what?? 😂😂) And then the party after?? So stinking sweet. All the love and care put into helping Freddo blossom to be his best self… he is such a good boy. We were just as surprised as everyone that no one had come forward.. all the members were in love with him but too far away, or couldn’t take another dog. But he was meant to have his furever home at the Farm. (Husband and I sometimes sing parts of the song Elle and Evie sang for him, “Freddo, you are home now..” 🥲) So sweet to see this special doggo’s story shared with more people. 💕
This guy and his family are amazing. Freddo is so lucky he got the chance to thrive in the right, loving environment.

My first thoughts were how could you pass him on after all the love you have given him and how he has repaid that love with good behaviour. My eyes were full of tears as he walked towards that gate, when the gate opened my tears didn’t dry up they poured down my face with genuine happiness that UA-cam had never invoked in me ever before. I’m so happy for Freddo. Your doing amazing work these days for our canine kids 🐾❤️🐾

Thank you for not having him be given away again!! He sooo happy! You have such a loving family!!
It is ironic that Luke fought for our freedom (and gained PTSD in the process) and he himself is now reduced to a small world (ie The Farm) because he and his wife as so selfless and have dedicated their lives to save those that others have let down and in the process have not only gained the stress of caring for the beautiful creatures emotionally and physically (some have significant health issues and vet bills are expensive) but having to do so without a steady income because they had to close their successful business to support the rescue animals. Truly the best family on the internet. Who would sacrifice their livelihood and freedom, they cannot leave the farm as a family for long or ever go on holidays because they need to be there to correctly channel the dogs, dingoes and cats interactions for all the wonderful animals they have rescued. 💕
Lovely comment Lily and so very true.
💜🐶❤️
Beautiful words, spot on!👍
What a guy to help this dog...he wasn't scared at all. Legend .❤
I remember one time 4 severely aggressive dogs arrived at The Farm for rehab. After he met with the dogs and was going to get them settled in, his wife Sam asked Luke what his thoughts were on the new dogs. All he said was 'I think I'm going to get bit'. They adopted one of the dogs - Rosco a mastiff', another family adopted 2 of them and one was adopted by another family. The others are all on social media and are thriving in their new homes. Luke and Sam have 20 dogs, 2 dingos, 2 cats and a retired race horse. All but 1 of the dogs are rescues. I'm sure you would love their videos.
True legend 🙌💕 The Farm is a beautiful place

Yeah Freddo on The Dodo. ❤️❤️ We love you Freddo. Please visit The Farm to see Freddo and the amazing Evans family, 2 and 4 legged. Thank you The Dodo for highlighting this amazing family. ❤❤
Dear Freddo. He found his family just when he had given up all hope. The Evans family are amazing people. There needs to be more people like them in the world. ❤
This family restored my faith in humanity💙🐾
I watched this when it happened. I cried and cried! What a good boy.
You had me there for a second.... I was saying " how can they give up that beautiful soul " ... happy ending 😊
Yup, that's Luke sense of humour.
What an amazing home they have. And it's filled with kids and dogs. A big house like that should be filled with kids and dogs.
The Farm is filled with 20+ dogs, 2 cats, 2 dingos, 5 humans supplemented on the outside by a horse, 2 goats, several birds, ducks, roos & an odd bat now & then. 🥰🥰🥰🤣🤣🤣
@@hanyhash2218 It's a beautiful place
And it literally is, they ALL sleep inside at night. Watch as they drift off to sleep after a big day running and playing. Every morning Luke and Sam sweep and vacuum (there is a video of their cleanup operation each morning), blankets are washed and folded each day as well.
The Farm is like heaven on earth, with all the animals (furry or not) living together harmoniously. It’s such a happy place to watch. I am addicted to their UA-cam channel, The Farm. The most honest, genuine family you could find💖🐾
@@stephaniehollis2816 I've never seen it. I suppose i should check it out.
I was so worried when you said you found the perfect family! But it was you! So happy for you all!
Me too. I was confused and like, so you did abandon him.
@@marilynbuenconsejo1090 They have foster failed many times. They have 20 dogs, 2 dingos, 2 cats and a retired race horse. You will thorougly enjoy The Farm videos.
Luke’s a dog trainer, he was trying to help pound dogs find homes and he did but now he has “20 dangerous dogs” best you tube channel. He closed his dog day care now and still helps out some pound dogs. Worth a follow.
@@Em_Chester_ Only 5 dogs were initially considered to be dangerous and of those 1 was ill and in pain. After surgery, he was no longer aggressive. Anonther was an unsocialized malinois puppy who along with the other 3 have been socialized and trained and are living their best lives now. None of the others were considered dangerous.
@@Em_Chester_ can you tell me his UA-cam channel please?
Love Luke, Sam, the kids and all the doggos they've adopted!! The Farm is the best place on earth, full of love and compassion!!! Way to go all of you, at The Farm! We love you!!!❤❤❤
My words exactly! Heaven on earth!💖🐾
I love seeing a big, loving family on a farm, who loves their animals, and their animals love them right back. I was worried that Fredo would be sent away, and feel like he was losing his people. What a surprise, he was already home.
I adopted a dog who had been returned twice to the rescue. It's 5 years later and I don't regret a thing and I don't understand why not one but two families gave up this sweetheart of a dog
I think it was the same with Freddo, he had been returned to the shelter 2 or 3 times and was on the euthanasia list, to see him now, so loving with this family, both human and furry, is the result of someone not giving up on him. Your dog just needed a good owner to blossom, wonderful of you to do that for him.
I don't understand it either🤯. Freddo is an amazing & lovely pup in every way🥰
So glad you let Freddo stay. He belongs with you!😊
The best doggy family in the known world.
🥰🙌💯🌟
Absolutely 💯 💙🐾
Much like humans, most dogs' temperament is a reflection of how they have been treated. When there are behavioral issues, the dog gets blamed (and punished), although it is usually not their fault. Freddo BECAME gentle and loving because that is what Luke showed him!
@dad4ever-90 I love this!❣ so true👏👏
Luke a good man
I'm so glad they kept him!
@loypineda5331Best channel on UA-cam, The Farm (The Australian Dog Farm)💙🐾
OMG…this just about made me cry 😢😢😢❤❤❤. Thank you all, for rescuing this precious doggo, showing him how wonderful life can be and giving him a loving forever home!!!
