The period one made me so uncomfortable. When I first got mine, I didn’t want to talk about it at all because at first you feel really weird about it. So the fact that they made a PARTY? I would never forgive somebody for that.

Okay… As a person who used to binge watch Dhar Mann and stopped until I was introduced to August The Duck and his clever and well constructed commentary on how bad it has become… This genuinely makes me sick (nauseous even). I watched this and just found the mom’s behavior from start to finish so bizarre and it just got really creepy how she was willing to share her daughter’s supposed period to everyone at her school and to host a party at their house without the daughter’s knowledge. Exposing your daughters fake period when she’s clearly upset about it and you see her uncomfortable and crying and not taking note of it until she speaks up. I’m sorry but that almost comes off as child abuse.

As someone who is female and in 10th grade, I can confidently say that no one is doing “period celebrations” unless it is a cultural thing. 💀
As a girl and former teen who went through this, I can say I never stood around and talked about it nor drew a red dot on my pants I was horrified and so were all the girls I knew.

SSSniperwolf (an IRL criminal) in her 30's playing a "highschool teen"...what is it with these adults and children?? Not to mention that the scene of the "moon party" looks like a cult. Lmao. Dhar Mann has always been horrible with his content, but it seems like since he lost his best actors and they called him out when they had that strike, he has completely lost his mind. All of his viewers are children. The kids watching these videos are gonna be damaged thinking that this is "how real life works".
Also Sssniperwolf groomed two teen boys then tried to delete the live stream that got leaked a year ago

I have just subscribed to you days ago, I think I’m getting entertained. I like to watch videos that talk about the point of view on the person making that video on the most famous UA-camrs on UA-cam.
Don’t know if the times have changed, but when I was in 8th grade people would either be embarrassed talking about periods or make fun of you for having it. It was uncommon to see people being comfortable about it.

As someone who have been dealing with periods ever since I was 9, this video fills me with so much rage that I can't even express. The girl never even lied about it. Sure, she was GOING to, but she never even went through with it. Even if she wasn't lying, the mom should not have posted her daughters period online and hosted the party, or AT LEAST not with her peers. (Which may I add, nobody would be excited for that. That's just how to get your kid bullied.) Also, another thing I don't see a lot of people talking about is that the mother never seemed to give proper help to her daughters period. Lets say the girl was actually on her period at the time. Not ONCE did we see the mom explain to her what's happening or how to deal with it. If you see that your child is on their first period then the least you could do is help and teach them how to deal with it, NOT POST IT ONLINE AND THROW SOME DUMBASS PERUOD PARTY!!! The fact that he thought this was okay to post on the Internet is honestly disgusting ESPECIALLY FROM A 40 YEAR OLD MAN!!! Also the fact that Dhar Mann even considered a criminal like sssniperwolf in his video shows how view hungry he is.

Being taken out for ice cream or dinner with family might be normal [because having your first period is rough more than anything], but inviting the whole school? Doesn't happen IRL lol
"Period parties" are kind of a thing, but from everyone I've personally ever heard of it is more of a tight-knit sleepover in a means to make the person having the period feel better since it is kind of a sudden change. Kind of been a thing, but recently people started calling them that. I had a sleepover with my best friends not too long after and my friends too.

I'm FtM, and when I got my first period, the only reward I got was missing school the next day (I recall having my period on Thursday, and I skipped school on a Friday). The only reason I got to miss school is so I could get used to . . . changing, without having to find a way to discreetly slip my pad on my person and rush to the stall.
I'm a man, so I guess I wouldn't fully understand, but yeah... as someone who hates having someone tell the wait staff at some restaurant that it's my birthday.. and them making a whole scene out of, it singing happy birthday and shit.. I couldn't imagine being a young girl, having my period and then my mom inviting the whole fucking school. I genuinely wouldn't talk to my mother for years. I guess I actually understand, to an extent...it's pretty much like having a boner at school and everyone seeing it, because you have to walk up to the front of the class. "Oh look, your body is changing, doing weird shit, let's make a fucking scene/whole big deal out of it, so everyone knows! As a mother of a female... this sickens me. I plan to gather a gift basket and taking her out for chocolate ice-cream to celebrate life and help her think positive. Between her and I. If she has questions, I will answer them, but no one except me and her father (and grandparents with the same reason I said about her father) will also know (Just to let him know she started and he may have to deal with it, if I can't be there). The men in my family are awesome with dealing with it. No creepy party. No pictures online. Just a positive experience with knowing my child can trust her parents in being understanding in life's moments.

You can't really be used to it even if you were raised with this kind of humiliation your whole life.
