- In honkai star rail lore, Akivili, the aeon of the trailblazing is one of those aeons that has had a mysterious story ever since we heard about them. They are unique among the many aeons and seem to function completely differently from the others. Whats really interesting though is that Akivilis behaviour seems to have rather similar patterns with another aeon in star rail, terminus the aeon of finality. Which then begs the question, is akivil actually terminus?
This is the question that we will be discussing in this video and as youll see akivili does indeed seem to have quite a few similarities with the aeon of finality terminus, so much so that his might end up being a possibility. But I'll let you decide that on your own.
Some part of this video comes from the actual lore while others may be speculation on my part as we currently do not know the full story. As such take it with a grain of salt as the point of this video is just a deeper dive into Honkai Star Rail lore.

I mean, you could say that Terminus is on a “journey” to the beginning of the universe.
Maybe something like, Akivili reached the end of their journey, reaching the end of the universe and began a new one to go back. Like how Gallagher was saying that Micheal’s journeys end in circles.

In one of my theories is that Aha and Akivili literally smashing and are really close because Aha loves Akivili's irony in the Trailblaze while Akivili adores Aha's unchained chaos for their own desire

this man has predicted a lot of things that might seem insane at first. And honestly I’m seeing other lore channels starting to steal this theory with no credit.
This actually made me wonder, what is the counterpart to the Trailblaze? Is there an aeon that represents the desire to stay at home and live a calm life? Would that be an aspect of Preservation?
I would imagine IX the Nihility, since Trailblaze is to seek while Nihility is to do nothing. Then again, Nihility might fit more as the counterpoint to Aha the Elation. Where Elation finds joy in most anything and everything, Nihility sees it all as meaningless.

Ok so … there is actually one big piece of evidence that supports your theory … the Factions categorized under the Data Banks.
Until the newest Factions we’re added in 2.1, previously all Factions were categorized together by the Path they followed, Elation, Nihility, Preservation, The Hunt, and so on.
But then we have the Trailblaze Factions; Nameless and Astral Express, and between those two Factions, we have the Stellaron Hunters. This seems to indicate that, at most, the Stellaron Hunters do indeed have some affiliation with the Trailblaze. And if Akivili really did turn into Terminus (or something to that Aeonic effect) and Elio is indeed related to the Finality in some regard then … it’d make perfect sense for the Stellaron Hunters to have some affiliation with the Trailblaze.
Now as for the potential of Akivili turning into Terminus, we’d have to question why both of the Paths exist.
We have countless potential possibilities of two Aeons existing from the same Aeon, such as Mythus who was apparently born from Remembrance, how exact this term of phrase is however, we can only imagine. Then we have Remembrance preserving memories despite their being an Aeon of Preservation, surely the Path of Remembrance would’ve fallen under Preservation in those circumstances? Yet it hasn’t, which proves that despite the severe similarities, there is still an important difference to make between the two Paths, whatever that may be.
So coming back to Akivili the Trailblaze and Terminus the Finality. We have Akivili ascending due to him wanting to get to the Tree of Existence, which does indeed sound like a rather possible thing to achieve, but then we have Nous the Erudition. Nous was made to know everything about the universe, and it has indeed achieved this, yet it still exists which indicates that Aeonhood isn’t merely about achieving a singular goal, no matter the individual. (This indicates that Lan the Hunt will continue to Hunt even if it manages to slay Yaoshi the Abundance.) We can even see the severity of this Aeonhood through IX the Nihility, despite being the literal concept of nothingness, the entity itself cannot be nothing.
So even if Akivili reached their end goal, they’d likely wouldn’t stop being an Aeon of Trailblaze. Now I do like to mention that Akivili’s goal wasn’t* just to get to the Tree of Existence, but to get to this Tree and back to Pegana. So Akivili’s goal still remains uncompleted.
Onto the Paths, we’ve seen with Ena that once a Path is assimilated, that Path is gone and no longer the same Path it once was. So if Akivili ascended into Aeonhood another time into Terminus the Finality, would this of consumed the Path of Trailblaze, or would it be an entirely new Path in itself? As I mentioned with Fuli and Qlipoth, two separate Paths existing tells us that despite any similarities, there is still an important difference between them. Trailblaze and Finality, by their names alone, sound like two different ideals with one similarity. Trailblaze is to go on a journey, and Finality is simply the end result of said journey. Trailblaze will tell us a story about an 80 year old man, while Finality will tell us that 80 year old man died from old age.
This tells us one thing, while the Paths of Trailblaze and Finality are their own thing, they are also closely connected. I wonder if it’s possible that Akivili didn’t necessarily ascend to Finality, but more effectively realized that Finality is the end of Trailblaze. When you get to the end of a book, you just cannot continue past The End, Akivili possibly realized that at one point, THEY will run out of pages, and that is what ascended, that “one point” became Terminus the Finality. Just as IX is the living concept of nothingness, Terminus is the living concept of Finished. The inevitable period at the end of a sentence.
Just like how a Man created an Aeon, an Aeon created an Aeon. This is why Stellaron Hunters are affiliated with the Trailblaze, their goal is to assist a story all the way until it’s end. But they don’t control the end of that story, Kafka tells us that defeating Nanook and saving the Universe is a slim possibility, not a guaranteed possibility, despite following a guaranteed script. Elio, a follower of Trailblaze created a script until it meets with Finality.
Akivili’s disappearance very likely has to do with Terminus’s creation … what if … Akivili is leading Terminus backwards in time? Idk what that entails for the universe exactly, but it would be a very interesting twist.
Fun fact! Doing a quick Google, I’ve come to realize that “Terminus” is literally the End of a travel route.
but i don't see any similarities in the path of remembrance and preservation tho? I mean if you just look at the name sure it feels like they have a similarities, but it is established what Fuli and Qlipoth goals are that's probably why the path never clash. While the Harmony and Order is really similar not only if you look at the name, also from their concept.
@@Lovely-zb7vu Just to clarify, I’ve said that despite the similarities that certain Paths might share, the reason they are separate Paths tell us that there is a significant enough reason for them to be their own Paths.
Remembrance is about preserving memory, while Preservation is building walls to preserve. Both Paths involve the act of preserving, the significant difference is what they are preserving, and the method they’re using to preserve.
Permanence and Abundance both involve eternal life, the significant difference is that the Permanence accepts death when the moment comes, while the Abundance refuses death at every obstacle.
The Beauty and the Elation even have some similarities. Both Paths involve followers who’d go to extremes for the sake of their respective Path, and each follower is capable of judging for themselves if an action was following the Path of Beauty/Elation. The significant difference between these Paths is that Beauty is about the emotions and appearances, and Elation is about the Humor and Tragedy of a situation.
The Voracity and the Propagation both had consumed many many planets for their own sake. The Voracity consumed many planets because it enjoys being so carnivorous, while the Propagation consumed so many planets because it wanted to turn those planets into Nests to continue Propagating.
There are many Paths that have a few similarities with other Paths, but what separates each Path is what makes that Path its own unique thing. So what about Order and Harmony? Since Order assimilated into Harmony, this tells us that Order has lost it’s uniqueness to Harmony.
The Paths of Order and Harmony. Order was about one individual controlling the actions of many. (or individuals controlling the actions of many, whatever the situation calls for.) While Harmony is about everyone working together. Both of these Paths involve teamwork, however Order involves only one variation of teamwork, while Harmony involves all variations of teamwork.
This raises an interesting observation between Order and Equilibrium. We’ve already recognized Order as the Path of controlled teamwork, but both of these Paths involves the few individuals making significant decisions for the many. The differences between these two Paths is that Equilibrium performs these decisions to maintain equal moderation across the universe, while the Order performs these decisions to stay in control over the many.

@@King_Tap Yeah, I looked into this a bit. When I found out there was a god named Terminus, I was a bit excited … until I read everything I could. This Roman god doesn’t seem to be that … significant, and it especially doesn’t match up with the concepts of Finality all to well. Finality is the complete and utter emphasis of something’s End. The end of a book, the end of a trail, the end of a life, The End. While Terminus the Roman God of Boundary Stones … is essentially celebrated for protecting Boundaries. He isn’t even the one responsible for building the Boundaries, he’s somewhat like a Roman version of Cerberus, solely being a protector of something he had no hands in creating. Even his name isn’t that exciting when you discover it’s etymology. Termino Deus (or maybe Deus Termino?) is combined to make the name, Terminus … Termino Deus translates into (deus) God of (termino) Boundary Stones, his name just about tells you everything you have to know about the guy.
However, there is still little to no real information about the Aeon, Terminus the Finality. So perhaps we will indeed be getting some references about Terminus, the Roman God of Boundary Stones … or perhaps we won’t. At this point, all we can do is just wait.
The most significant detail about this Roman God Terminus, is that he has some apparent connection (to some degree) with the Roman God Jupiter, who is the Roman counterpart for the Greek God Zeus, the God of Lightning, as well as the King of Gods. So … if we get something, then we get something!
Akivili walking forward while Terminus walks backwards either way they create a loop so are certainly connected.
I think it is very possible WE are Terminus born again into their human body, assisted by Elio to reach a new fate. After all who can make more of an impact on the future than a god? Humans

I like to imagine they're all the same, in sequence Akivili, Terminus, Elio, Trailblazer. All one in the same.

The end of the story is the finality.
In your own way refers to the trailblaze.
This was a hint from the very beginning that the paths are in fact one and the same.
As I mentioned in my other comment, I believe the trailblazer is Elio or is related to Elio in some way.
Elio has the same powers as what the Finality is said to have. Akivili has powers that can let him reach any destination. Both of which brings you towards something that can be seen as the end. But once something ends, another must begin. When one path closes another emerges. Perhaps I am crazy for even thinking this. Maybe I am right.
All I know is that we have very little information and that information can be perceived in countless ways.
I also have a theory that the Stelleron are needed to ascend to Aeonhood. Stelleron Seed Theory is what I call it. Stelleron brings forth the power of a path and twists it. The Eternal Freeze occurred due to the will of the preservation. To preserve something as it already is taken to the extreme. Frozen in time.
The Arboreal Arbor (Not sure if I got the name of the tree right)
The idea of abundance refers to everlasting life and resources. Twisted into a tree that warps the way people are and gives them eternal life. But instead of helping them, it slowly drives them mad. A wish for prosperity caused ruin.
A wish for order and harmony.
In order to create peace and happiness for the world. But it was twisted into a nightmare where free will was defiled.
Each of the known Stelleron Disasters had a connection to a path that defined the world they occurred on. All of them twisted and altered.
If the Stelleron have such connections to the paths, then perhaps they are what is needed to create a path. Look at Cocolia and her appearance after trying to absorb the Stelleron of Jarilo 6. She resembled an Aeon like creature mixed in with a Fragmentum monster. Perhaps the Fragmentum monsters are creatures who once dwelled within the area of the Fragmentum that were unable to properly ascend to Aeonhood. Perhaps their will power wasn’t enough.
Cocolia was close to ascension but was ultimately unable to withstand the power.
The Trailblazer was able to withstand this power because the Stelleron inside of them was sealed before it could release its power. Perhaps later in the story we unseal that Stelleron and tap into its power. Creating a new path.
There is also a chance that the Stelleron inside of Akivili helped him achieve his goals. But once they are achieved, he had his wish twisted and altered. Perhaps the final villain to the story is the one who is creating the Stelleron and spreading them. Maybe the Stelleron are naturally created by the universe itself. Maybe via the use of Honkai Energy.
Isn't it said though that Stellerons were created during the birth of Nanook the Destruction? Could be mistaken, but I thought that was the named or hinted origin of the Stellerons, also known as the "Cancer of All Worlds"

Stellarons are not needed for ascension as they were created by Nanook and are meant to bring destruction of the world.
And Manook isn't even the oldest amongst aeons.
The cold freeze had nothing to do with preservation Qlipoth at all or the will to preserve anything.
Preservations is what baelobogians attempted to do, the cold freeze was leading to destruction of the world.
Im thinking the stellarons are the remains of a fallen/dead aeon, in some way i think MC/akavili absorbed cocolia's stellaron to gain the preservation path. Ive got a feeling this is the plot absorb many aeons along the way to face off against nanook.
So checking the Data Bank on Stellarons, also known as "Cancer of All Worlds (Phenomenon)," it's not confirmed that they are linked to Nanook and the Antimatter Legion, but they are most speculated as being so
I always assumed the MC was the reincarnated akavili, i suspect march is a reincarnation of a different aeon too. Although id love to see an evil march past completely opposite to her character, you know taller, older with mature eye design being mean lol. There was a quest in penacony about an evil queen who hid in the dreamscape which could be a foreshadow for march.
My headcannon is that March is a self annialator (spelling??) Who forgot about the self annalation (I'm sorry I'm trying) like the guy from the swarm disaster. Her connection to the remembrance is because they don't want her to remember for some reason. Her 5 star form would be nihility. I have no real proof of this but I think it's a cool idea
I think the MC is a reincarnation of Akavili too. However I think a stellaron is the form of the dead Aeon with the MC giving it life.

I made a theory like this on Reddit actually! the connections between The Trailblaze and The Finality are interesting
The theory is fascinating! But just pointing out, if the aeon were absorbed/died the path will still exist. For example, path of beauty and recently path of order.
Not to mention the Path of Propogation. Tzayrranth (or however you spell THEIR name) may be dead, but the Swarm still lives on within parts of the Universe
This opens up a possibility of another aeon rising to that path.
Just the other day I saw the Terminus loading screen text and it randomly made me think "What if the Trailblazer (or Akivili themselves) is actually Terminus", and now its starting to make too much sense to be a coincidence.
I think Finality meaning "the end of time" so because they already reach the end the only way left too go is "back work in time"
Here's a thought:
Akivili reached the end of THEIR journey, but they wish to look back on THEIR Journey. See where it all began, then finally End THEIR Journey content with all the memories and experiences.
Terminus also literally means a 'final train station' so yeah..
cool theory but i think gonna get debunk in some way pretty soon with finality and terminus lore drop with AS mode (i have read some AS lore from leak) and especially when you understand how Terminus and Finality work. A fact i don't think many people know but Finality as a translation from cn to eng is not even very correct in the sense that it probably the closest word in english they can find but if you look at the original word in cn, the meaning change quite a bit, the only translation that actually address this i know so far is vietnamese, other langue i check so far is translated as "the end" aka Finality but in the original cn and in vietnamese translation, the word is closer in meaning to "desolation" than finality(the end)
However, we now know due to the main story that even when an Aeon is assimilated, their path may still continue to exist even without an Aeon presiding over it. Hence the followers of Ena still following the path of Order when Harmony absorbed it.
Maybe Akivilli, "an endless journey" got assimilated by the "end of all journeys", Terminus. Because all journeys have to end, sometime, somewhere. In fact, one can grow weary from constant trailblazing; hence many stepping off the train to settle down and end their journeying. So maybe Akivilli, like those trailblazers, finally got weary and decided it was time to get off at the next stop... and once that journey ended... he reached Terminus.
(or maybe Akivilli decided the Express should decide their own paths for themselves freely instead of following him, and stepped down to let them blaze towards their unattainable end of the universe)
Not saying Akivili can't be both. I just don't agree with the dynamics much.
A specific desire that led to ascension might not necessarily translate perfectly in Aeonhood simply due to their Primum Mobile being defined by the concept of their Path. At the end of the day, the Trailblaze means to open the way forward. To lead the way to somewhere others haven't gone to... so in concept the Trailblaze does not end until it has explored all paths(or Paths). Who can say a place is truly the endpoint if you cannot be not sure somewhere else isn't ? Just accept this is the endpoint because someone tells you that it is ? So the Trailblaze must be defined by the path it blazes in relation to the final station. It's the embodiment of what Acheron tells to Adventurine. Even if there's many things humans cannot change, there are still many things they can do in their journey before the end. An important callback to Honkai 3rd. No matter what happens in the end, define your ending by the choices made on the way there instead of letting a predetermined ending define your worth.
So what does that make Finality in relation to the Trailblaze ? Finality is where all paths end, where all paths are fulfilled and where all paths start anew. You can delay it, you can hasten it, but you reach it eventually and something new must begin. If nothing more can be done, then you can only start over. At the beginning. If the current course of Finality means Nanook succeeds in destroying everything until nothing is left, then it is within its purpose that Finality turns backwards to the beginning(Origin) until a new Finality(Origin) is defined.
Trailblazer line of "Reaching the end of your story your own way" suddenly take a different kind of meaning after this theory.
I think Akivili is dead. There is a dialog or a note somewhere that says people believe his heart is powering up the Astral Express. You also would have to figure out how Akivili went from the past to the even end of time to even become Terminus.
Furthermore, the game is hinting the 3rd way an Aeon died is by mortals killing them. As the current game is setting up the Astral Express to kill Nanook Aeon of Destruction. The whole plot so far has been all that.
The stellaron hunters are guiding the astral express to kill Nanook. Everything we are doing is to build an army and allies. To take the fight to Nanook.
It’s been confirmed that the stellaron hunters follow finality. Another W for you, it’s almost like you’re the one writing the lore.
Assuming this theory is correct, and assuming Elio and the stellaron hunters follow Terminus. Then it’s ironic that technically the hunters and the express would follow the same path
I like your content and I've been watching it for several months now. But bro, these theories are wild and crazy, how tf do you even come up with them?
I do wholeheartedly believe that Akivili could be related to Finality in the current timeline, and I've proposed many times that he could actually be Elio. However, I find it harder to see Akivili as the Aeon Terminus, because as far as I know, Terminus is a MUCH older Aeon, preceding the Trailblaze altogether.
Terminus is always described as moving backwards in time so that does not remove the possibility of a connection between the two.
a possibility is that after Akivili reached the end of their journey the Trailblaze became the Finality and Terminus was born to follow back to the start then after it finally came all the way back to the birth of Akivili it just decided to keep going back and see what exactly led to the Trailblaze becoming a thing in the first place.
after all we know that there are Aeons that are doomed from the start: Nanook is said to be already doomed due to his birth being prophesied by Terminus, and Tazironth along with the Propagation are said in the Simulated Universe to have been born specifically because they had to die.
In the 2.3 we have new feature "finality view" , we can acces all content by skip the quest related to that event. It's counterpart to trailblazer who love the journey and quest 😂

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's wondering this!
so hearing everything out, i would still say that akivili still alive and terminus is a separate entity. reason being, we all know already know that akivili's end goal is to reach the end of tree existence and came back to pegana which is the home planet. there are two thing to consider here. that being said the reason i think the terminus is a separate entity is that as we know with kiana being the finality, her power is to manipulate the power of honkai to manipulate fate but that is not how terminus represent is. more like terminus represent "certainties" traveling back in time establishing event and create the certain event that will lead to how he view it a the "outcome" sound familliar? yes that's right, it is like what elio was doing in the current storyline. leading the astral express to certain point of world to fulfill the outcome of the script elio created. to me, it's more like this, there is possibility that akivili and terminus had this kind of agreement between the two. that being said. we know that terminus was traveling through time and found something, something that would shake the very foundation of the universe beyond the powers of aeon themselves. while other aeon was trying to play 4 d chest with one another, akivili and terminus was working together to prevent that certain event from happening that is why stellaron hunters are trying their best to lead the astral express to the best possible scenario and akivili right now was leaving clue and hint throughout his journey to help out the astral express. thought there is one possible "error" in the script written by elio because of welt. well came back to the topic, i still believe that, akivili was somewhat fall from the tree of existence and lost in the sea of quanta as we all know that both are sharing the multiverse and was trying to get back to the tree of existence
so to sum up what ive gathered from the comments before watching the video is.
Akivili became terminus after reaching the end of their journey and becoming terminus then immediately going backwards in time to find the beguinning in a time loop sort of sense. The end of something happens when something new begins even if that something new is "nothing happened after that" So the way both the trailblaze and finality can exist is that you can consider akivili to have died when they became terminus. There was no absorption of the path and the path was not destroyed. Akivili at one point was 2 seperate existences as past akivili and future terminus. Akivili is moving towards the future while terminus travels back to the past.
I may not play HSR, but I have a thought due to watching this and other Eon videos but…
Is it possible that the Path of the Trailblazer merge with the Path of Finality? A journey has an ending, a point wherein one stops and rests. Similar to how Order was merged into Harmony…? Order is what comes from a point of a pure balance, where no conflict comes to disturb the status quo…?
So, the two paths create the loop that creates the reality of past, present and future, and thus the final point can become the start, and the starting point becomes the final end.
If this theory proves true, and Elio is indeed a follower of the Finality, it would be one more link between the Express and the Hunters.

Nice point but there is a contradiction with current terminus lore we had.
1. Terminus is not exist in out timeline yet. And no it didnt time travel back to our time yet. Omen vanguard just catch terminus messege through prophetic dream from future and focusing to decrypt those messege.
2. More detail that contradict terminus arrived on our timeline is based on another finality pathstriders faction. The Creed Exequy exist only to attempting to summon terminus from future to present. Emphasis on "attempting". They havent achievef this goal just yet. Meaning terminus is still in the future.

Trailblazing isn't just about going to new places and enjoying yourself. It's also about blazing a new path that others can follow. If Akivili is Terminus then what he's doing as Terminus to help the universe reach the same conclusion he wants isn't much different from how he set up rails to the places he's reached as the aeon of Trailblaze.

I've been wondering this for a while now I play honkai impact 3rd and I know how Walt got on the train but I've always wondered Why? And sometimes I would wonder maybe I'm putting too much thought into it but I always thought that there had to be a specific reason for at least one honkai impact 3rd character to be on the train and again like I said maybe I'm put too much thought into it but which led me to think what is an Ian change ideals or the path for the aeon changed and maybe that's why there's so many that are labeled as disappeared or something also no one come jump down my throat about this it was just something that's been on my mind for a while😅

@@Maevix3142 I am exactly the same, I usually don't watch other people's videos because I know my thoughts might be influenced, and I want to give my viewers my own ideas, even if they end up being stupid and completely wrong, this is something I've told my viewers multiple times while editing a video about a topic someone else released a video about. This time, I was told by one of my viewers to watch your video, and they really wanted me to watch it XD
And yeah, being able to take inspiration from someone's ideas to come up with new ideas is actually what makes theorizing fun!!! XD
