imo, tingyun just constantly has thoughts of destruction in her body, like you said she is warring with destruction. in that sense, she needs to directthat energy somewhere. coupled with her natural anger at the lack of control she has over her fate, she aims these destructive thoughts and energies at the aeons who caused her pain. i don’t think there’s any tampering from ruan mei’s end. ruan mei seems to not care whether tingyun chose to live or die, she just fulfilled her debt.

The Ten Stonehearts, however, are 10 corporate henchmen, each with their own stories, that serve the IPC's purpose. I doubt everyone in the IPC is engaged with Qlipoth's path on an idealistic level.
