For $50 this is an amazing synth, in the vein of the Korg Volca or the NT-1 series...but that display...my older eyes just cannot handle such a tiny display...
Nice job:) Its more like synthwave on '"four to the floor" style than classic trance, but its a good demonstration. Still waiting for mine.... still 7-9 weeks estimated time aaarrrgh :S
A JP8000/8080 it is not - sounds a lot weaker (I have got an 8000). As a £40 alternative it absolutely rocks - that is 2 packs of smokes on current UK pricing! I am undecided if what Behringer is doing is right or not (I bought a TD3 and a TD3MO tbh) but they do offer powerful gear at affordable pricing - good for music but bad for developers and potential future development.
its for putting in your pocket. its a quarter of the size of mc101 and its $50. most powerful hardware synth at that price point and form factor. but each to their own.
JT4000 very similar in few patches but most of them are very thin sound,,Jp6k Vst are fatter,,but the king is still the original,i will buy one cirka 800eu.
@@fortheloveofnoise i like 90's Trance too. But they were not so progressive like the newers. At the end of the day it is of course a matter of taste. ✌️
When you remember this synth is just over £40, it is very impressive! Thanks also for putting the editor now up for downloading.
Sounds amazing, nice track to, sound like an old school hit.
Thank you for this! Have to buy one JT one day. And the track reminded me of the early good old trance, very nice!!
Hell yes, thanks! Been waiting to hear some trance from the JT
Been waiting for someone to demo supersaw! Sounds great... no idea how close it is technically but it sounds really good, close enough for me
Thanks for sharing. It brings back memories.
Beautiful machine 😍
This sounds fantastic! Well done, great demo
That was alot of work. Awesome job!
great video, very impressive
Fantastic Track!!!
It's a beast of a sound engine in such a cheap tiny package. Carry mine around a lot
This is what I’ve been stoked to find!! Thank you. Sounds like a banger to me.. I can’t wait to get my hands on one.
Great track! Doesn't quite sound the same as my JP8080 if I'm honest, but it certainly has that trance vibe. Keep up the good work! =)
Cheers, I've never had chance to play a JP8080 so good to know. Coming from a deephouse background its a bit of an experiment.
Because they have added FX 0:29. Effects make a huge difference.
i think its "inspired by" not a copy of JP8k. Since the behringer has analog filters for example, and the Roland is fully VA.
@@AndrewTSq Correct also they added sweet 12 bit DAC for retro sound which the original did not have
@@music-ic6tgif i am mistaken the jp 8000 also had 12 bit architecture. It was very known and loved for it's gritty output.
For a £45 hardware synth...quite stunning
Great composition, nice one
Yes.... this guy's talent rocks the 4000!...hold my glo-sticks

Very Good😊
very nice
Fascinating.
Oh yeah!!! 👏👏👏👌😃
This is incredible! Subscribing for more synth content!
I'm curious, what are you using for the "trance gate" effect? Thanks!
Wowed 😀 Great!!
Hands up!
👍👍🏻👍🏼👍🏽👍🏾👍🏿
god that lead i want
Nice job:) Its more like synthwave on '"four to the floor" style than classic trance, but its a good demonstration. Still waiting for mine.... still 7-9 weeks estimated time aaarrrgh :S
I am in the same boat, if I am lucky I will receive mine early December, fingers crossed..🤞
@@Lance_Arn Its just 6-8 weeks now, according the shop's website! :D
sounds like early/mid 90s progressive house to me. this would have killed at the raves i went to back then!
Key of E for sure!
Best key 😉😆
for do this song i need 128 voices 😂
Or many JT-4000 😁
The JT is by far the cheapest synth in my setup and its becoming the most used. Absolute bargain from Behringer.

Formfaktor of A ms101 and i would buy one instantly.... But sorry, Not this ugly box

Sounds nothing like a jp-8080

the beat isn't a trance beat first of all. supersaw needs to be much louder if we're doing that classic airwave rank 1 style
Disagree. That is Trance 100%... but not so oldschool... still dated. Sounds more like 2005-2015 golden years of Trance.
@@asmr6773I still think the golden years of trance was the 90s

@@fortheloveofnoise what is your fav 90's trance tune???
@@fortheloveofnoise you must hear Sunny Lax's P.U.M.A. from 2006... i think.
