      What was the issue you had in the end because i'm in the same situation with the infinity but cannot work it out. I've disassembled and cleaned multiple times soaking the nozzle to make sure, tighted the cap and been overly careful so no damage. The best I can get it is no sputtering but still a little stream of bubbles coming up into the cup.

    Thank you!! Literally the first time I cleaned my Harder and Steenbeck I dropped the nylon washer from the nozzle so it leaked from the front 5 disassemblies + this video I found it on the floor next to me. Thank you I wouldn’t have know it was missing without this.

    Thank you so much for this video. I have an infinity and have been cleaning and cleaning the nozzle, because I thought bubbling indicated debris in the nozzle and so was sure there must be some tiny piece of debris in it that I just couldn't get out. Saw your excellent explanation of the 3 main reasons bubbling occurs, checked the nozzle seat, cleaned both surfaces carefully, made sure it was well tightened when screwed back in and...problem immediately fixed! I wish I'd seen your video a couple of months ago!

    I can't thank you enough for sharing your knowledge like you do! This video just saved me so much frustration. I'm a newb and trying to absorb as much know how as i go along but still ran into some troubles with my new badger sotar that i only used for a day, now i have to mention the airbrush i had before this was $20 princess auto special that was a nightmare to use.. so seeing the level of detail i can get with my new one i was pretty stoked. So today when i used it i put some primer in it that apparently isn't recommended for a needle as small as the one i have.(should've read the bottle first) It bunged up in there right away and I spent hours messing with it till i found your video. That part at the end where you mention how that tiny lil nozzle tip thingy is supposed to sit. No one else in the multitude of vids on here touched on that point. So much gratitude! Def know where I'll be taking my business next time! cheers

    Thank you A LOT. Since I bought the infinity cr plus about 3 years ago, I have had the bubbling problem constantly, the only solution I had was to carefully squeeze the nozzle with pliers and even so I kept having the problem many times, it only happened to me with the nozzle of 0'15. But thanks to this video I have finally been able to verify that what could go wrong from the factory was the teflon ring of the 0'15 nozzle, after turning it over it has worked almost correctly (it continues to bubble but very very little, micro bubbles, but even with that, the flow works perfectly) I will try to buy new teflon parts and change them. Again thank you very much for this video.

    Thank you for your detailed explanation. I have 3 airbrushes and 2 were blowing bubbles. I learned one had the nozzle cap not tight enough thus the nozzle was not protruding. The other one has the nozzle gasket missing. I made it seal by using beeswax. However, without the O-ring, the nozzle once again does not protrude past the nozzle cap. I need to find a replacement O-ring.

    Most problems getting paint out of the Airbrush, is too thick paint + too low air pressure, or clogged nozzle, really not the nozzle, but built up paint on the needle, between the needle and nozzle sides. It happens over time, wrong paint, too thick of paint, paint not properly shaken up, allowing solids to enter paint chamber. Pearls and Metallics are very bad about needing to be shaking up, shake up Pearls and Metallics until your arm wants to fall off, then shake 20 more minutes!
    Learn to clean your brush, and thin paints, if you clean your Airbrush and it sprays water great, then you add paint and it doesn’t spray good, it’s your paint thickness, or pressure or both, almost all paints I use need thinned, to flow proper, not all Airbrush’s are created equal, every Airbrush seems to be a individual, I learned by starting one pressure setting, and with thin paint, then thickened as needed, you will find what your Airbrush likes this way with different paints.

      Hello Eddy,
      Thank you for your feedback!
      Going over your budget a little, I'd recommend considering this airbrush spraygunner.com/harder-steenbeck-evolution-2-in-1/
      It also comes in a solo version, but 2in1 is much more flexible, allowing you to have 0.2mm nozzle set for details and 0.4mm for general needs.
      Specifically for details, PS270 (made in Japan) is a great choice spraygunner.com/gsi-creos-mr-airbrush-procon-boy-ps-270-0-2mm-platinum/
      Made in the USA badger airbrush Sotar, also comes as 3in1 set spraygunner.com/badger-sotar-2020-3in1-airbrush-set/
      The last one is temporary out of stock, should be back by the end of next week.

    • @SprayGunner
      @SprayGunner  3 роки тому

      Try shutting off the air and see if any water drips come out of the nozzle when trigger pulled back. If you see water comin out without air pressure, there must be something wrong with the position of the nozzle. Nozzle tip should come further than air cap, otherwise the air pressure will push the paint back into pain cup. Also make sure that the lid on the paint cup has an open hole in it so the air can get into the cup.

    I only had bubbles in the cup half the time. Looks like my needles and tips were all mixed up. Had to piece together 3 sets of tip, spray regulators and needles..

    What would cause paint to flow when the trigger is depressed ??? I don't pull back on it at all, I just push down for airflow and I get both air and paint flow . My brush is just a simple Avanti gravity fed double action with the 0.35 needle . It's nothing fancy but I'm a beginner so I wanted to start out with something affordable

      Check if your needle is resting all the way against the nozzle (unscrew back section and try to gently push the needle forward). If the problem remains, most likely you have a cracked nozzle or deep scratch on the needle.

      Possibly threads are not sealing well enough. Bee wax should help spraygunner.com/badger-50-050-prepared-beeswax-for-heads/

    Cool video! But what about bubbles from trigger area in H&S Ultra? Any ideas?

      Hello Michal,
      Trigger area is a completely different story. Most likely needle seal is damaged or missing. Part E on this diagram spraygunner.com/parts-accessories/harder-and-steenbeck-parts/for-ultra-gravity-feed/

    I have had almost every issue that you've gone over. I use colored cocoa butter in our airbrushes (4). Models include a couple of Masters and neo and copycake. NONE of them work. I have checked all parts listed in your video which is great by the way. I"m thinking it is my hose. I can't see any obvious problems with the hose connection. Is there other parts I should check? Other things.. we use a heating pad to keep the brush warm so that the cocoa butter sprays. Perhaps the heat has ruined a seal?
    Help. I don't want to have to buy yet another one to add to our collection.

      Hello,
      In this situation, you've got to have at least one working airbrush or new parts available so you can replace them one by one and eliminate the problem. There could be a micro scratch or crack on a seal or nozzle that you can't see but it's there. The only way to find out is to replace seals one by one, nozzle and needle and check on which pat the problem disappears.
      Thank you for watching!

    Hello! I just received my first airbrush. An Iwata HP CS and when I disassembled it I saw something on the needle. The needle is on one side a bit like an arrow tip but smoother. A bit faster on one side or like a small drop of water. Is it the way is supposed to be? (I guess not) thks!

      Hello Arno! If I understood your question correctly - yes, everything sounds fine with your needle. It meant to be sharp on one side. Feel free to contact our support team with pictures. Could my needle being bent cause this? It bent today and I’m not sure the tip isn’t exact shape as before could that effect this

    Hello, I have an airbrush Iwata and the problem is when I want to make a fine line I cannot get the color out and when I press the trigger more the color comes out a lot of color, I use oil colors mixed with gasoline please help me, thanks

    • @SprayGunner
      @SprayGunner  3 роки тому +1

      Hello! Don't have experience with oil paints mixed in gasoline. Are they thick? Fine enough for a small nozzle? Paint condition could be the reason. If airbrush sprays water fine, I'd say the problem is in the paint.

    I’m not sure if my airbrush is bubbling but every time I turn it on I hear this annoying air hissing out of the paint cup could that be related to bubbling. I’ve no idea what’s wrong with it.

    Excuse me, I have an iwata HP-CH, my problem is that the needle is not centered with the nozzle, when I pull the trigger back, you can see the pink needle in the nozzle. I bought another needle, but there are no changes, the airbrush works normal, but with the time it will deform the needle and make a groove in the nozzle. will have solution ?.

    • @SprayGunner
      @SprayGunner  4 роки тому

      Hello. If the needle tip is pushing against the nozzle side hard enough to bend the needle or damage nozzle - it's one of the hardest things to fix. In a lucky case, it would be caused but the bent needle chuck. Second worse (still fixable) disposition needle packing (inside the body) or nozzle base (don't remember how it's made on CH but usually it's a cylinder in which nozzle goes in and it can be pushed to the side a little. You can try to gently re-position it. Lastly, it could because of body damage. I saw an airbrush which was stepped on with exactly the problem you describe. We offer professional cleaning and diagnostics for $25 if you' won't be able to figure it out by yourself.
