Couldn't agree more with the advice about buying an airbrush from a reputable dealer. I use Gaahleri airbrushes and buy them directly from the manufacturer. Each brush arrives, having been tested and in a sealed box.
I probably messed mine up learning how to use it I bought mine thru Amazon not knowing better wanting to learn. Thanks for this video. I'll change my nozzle.
First off thank you for watching and I did catch your other comment too but I figured I would answer here. Did it end up being the nozzle on the airbrush?
Great video Kenny, awesome information. I usually get my airbrushes through Amazon but they come directly from a business called Spray Gunner, which I have had no problems with. I have no problems going through Amazon as long as it is coming from a reputable dealer. :)
I agree if you know what source it is coming from all good. But, it really isn't about amazon selling bad products it is about them selling broken returns which they do a lot. I would still suggest buying directly from the companies website if at all possible. Amazon has shady practices with products and I have had the problem first hand a few times.
I've been having this issue with my brand new masters touch pro and I've never had an issue with that one before. I actually found it reliable up till this. I still can't figure it out. Watchung to see what I can figure out hoping I won't have to replace the whole gun.
Usually the whole gun doesn't have to be replaced unless something catastrophic has happened. Hopefully it is just a minor part and can be fixed quickly.
I have an Airbrush with three needles, 0.3, 0.5 and 0.8 both 0.3 and 0.8 blowing bubbles yet the 0.5 is perfect! I have bought new needle cones but nothing has improved still massive bubbles! I've checked everything possible but still the same! Any advice would be gratefully received.
That is a very weird situation. You would figure if 2 are blowing bubbles all three would. I know it sucks but I would clean the airbrush and check all the seals. Here is a good article on troubleshooting bubbles in the paint cup. airbrushinsider.com/why-an-airbrush-blows-bubbles/
Great fix it tutorial. Ebay is good I've never had a used or broken airbrush sent to me , but ive only brought the cheap airbrushes , , becauseI can't afford the expensive ones like badger, iwatta .
Hey Boyd I bought this one from Amazon it isn't huge but does fit my airbrushes. www.amazon.com/dp/B072C4WKSF/?ref=exp_scifiantasy_dp_vv_d I also did a video on it, it is a bit silly at the beginning but you get to see the one I have in action ua-cam.com/video/tAQy_XWLu9o/v-deo.html
I do not use Iwata Airbrushes so not sure of the parts on it and very difficult to diagnose a problem without having it in hand. Does it have any type of O-Rings at the front end of the the airbrush. If so that could possibly be bad and letting air leak from the head cap or nozzle cap.
I have a problem with my airbrush. Can't find any damage on needle, tip or nozzle but it keep bubbling in the paint cup. Where should I check in the next step??
Hobby Link International It’ an Hobbynox Flow. Think I have busted the o-ring in the front some way. Tested to tightning a bit more yesterday and the bubbling decreased. So new front end and o-rings ordered
@@HobbyLinkInternational Changed the o-rings and now it works great again. Just need to learn to mix the colors right and use the correct air pressure :) I paint 1/10 lexan rc bodys.
No clue as this was sent to Marc defective could have been a few different things. Amazon sent out a return and screwed Marc with a bad product. No clue what the original owner did to it .

I have heard about 3 or 4 before I actually had this one in hand. Sad that it happens. Glad to hear you haven't had any problems :)
I'm thinking of getting a sonic cleaner. What brand is it you use Kenny?

Seeing how much of the needle was protruding past the tip told me that something was wrong with the tip. Good catch those tips are really tiny.
Thank you :) took me a while to figure it out. Without the aide of optics for my old eyes I would have kept missing it lol
Airbrushes are amazing tools, but also a right PITA when something goes wrong
Absolutely they are!! Thank you for stopping by :)
Good catch.
thank you

You can use beeswax on the threads there could be a possible leak. What type of airbrush?

Badger doesn't paint the bottom of the paint cup. Makes for easier cleaning
Thank you I never noticed that on my others. My goof.
Crud built up in the nozzle is my guess without watching the entire video yet.
