This track is from the movie they made called "The Song Remains the Same". Dude Zep rules all the way ..Jimmy Page John Paul Jones John Bonham and of course Robert Plant..icons with a great talent and message. So John B and Robert are from your town. They were all about the light
They played 3 nights at MSG in (1973), so some songs may be from different nights, though they were dressed the same for all three. Their best filmed concerts were of course MSG 73. Earls Court 75. Knebworth in 79.
Excellent choice mate. I'm a 71 year old bloke from the north east, and have seen Zep live 7 times between 1969 and 1980, and in my opinion they have always been the best live band ever. One you really need to watch is them live playing 'Kashmir'at the o2 arena 2007 in the Celebration Day reunion concert. They are all in their late 60's, apart from Jason Bonham , who is the son of John Bonham, Zep's original drummer. I guarantee you won't be disappointed .
Led Zeppelin’s Since I’ve Been Loving You at Madison Square Garden video will blow you away. Just listen to anything Zeppelin. And they really were very bluesy and rock.
Whenever possible stick with live concert versions. Studio version have perfect acoustics, but live versions always feature unique solos to show their true virtuosity. Compare Kashmir, to their version 27 years later. They maintain the same level of INCREDIBLE
Jimmy Page said in an old interview that when they were firsr forming the band, they needed a drummer. So he and Robert Plant went to see this guy named John Bonham play in a club with some anonymous band. Page said he clearly remembers telling Plant, "That's our man, he beats those drums like a bastard."! And that's how "Bonzo" got to be selected for Led Zeppelin.
No, Robert recommended Bonzo to Jimmy because Robert and Bonzo had been mates and had played in some of the same bands together, however, he didn't go with Jimmy to see Bonzo play. Jimmy first recruited bassist John Paul Jones because they'd worked together as session musicians in London. Jimmy originally wanted singer Terry Reid to join, however Reid was already contracted for a tour, but suggested Robert, who then suggested Bonzo, as I mentioned.
Another great reaction MollyBoy! Jimmy Page is the man. I’m so in love with him. You’re a cutie yourself and love that your English just like Zeppelin. Enjoying the journey with you

I am sorry to tell you but there is no comparison to the way you feel listening to this music now and the way I felt so many years ago hearing it. As much as you enjoy it now there is no possible comparison to hearing the music now and interacting with the culture that reflected the music as people my age did then. All that being said it is of course a pleasure to watch you experience the music now and take such joy in it. It gives me a thrill to see a young person wonder about the skill that this level of muisic required and to appreciate the rising sub-culture that it represented. We may not have changed the world the way we hoped to do but we will leave a mark that no popular culture can match.
They were absolute rock gods! Legendary music and musicians. Robert Plant had so much charisma. Women through themselves at them. Side note, Robert’s wearing a top from one of the girls (groupie) from the night before.
You can tell the main concerts by the drum kits played by John Bonham. 1970 - Royal Albert Hall - Ludwig Natural Maple / 1973 - Madison Square Gardens - Ludwig Amber Vistalite / 1979 - Knebworth - Ludwig Stainless Steel / 2007 - O2 - Ludwig Yellow Vistalite (Jason Bonham) 🤓
I have seen so many bands live over many years, but nobody has ever come close to giving me the experience that this incredible band did. They are without any shadow of a doubt, the GOATS of their generation and beyond.

@@michaelbirdwell7985 I hated it when FM DJs played it and had the listeners guess who it was. Good to see the younger generations watching classic rock. For us born in the mid-50’s it’s the soundtrack of our lives. Saw Zeppelin September of 1971 in Toronto at age 14. They were touring promoting the 4th album, the very album that Black Dog is on. Incidentally, Stairway to Heaven is on the same album that came out later in 1971. Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Black Sabbath are the unholy Trinity of British hard rock.

Saw Level 42, Stan Ridgeway, Toto, Hall n Oates, Earth Wind & Fire in the 80's, say Soundgarden, Mudhoney, & The Posies in the 90's. Given you pearls son. check these artists out.
Yes, they were that big and it took time and lots of record sales, there was no internet for instant success back in the day! It also took alot of traveling and doing many many many concerts! Starting in garages and backyards and then moving up to bars and venues like that, then on to Madison Square Garden and such places! The rest is history! Try The Who at Shepperton "Won't Get Fooled again" you will absolutely love it and want more! great reaction!

Lit! Scored from the collection of my friend’s cool brother’s collection for one night when I was 13 and had also scored a six pack of talls. Great night full of memories and music.
By 1973 (the year I was born) Zeppelin were already outselling The Rolling Stones in America and relentless touring had made them the go-to band band. They had become a phenomenon rapidly on the scale of The Beatles before them.
Great job on the reactions! Really enjoyed experiencing Led Zeppelin again through your eyes and ears. Suggestion: 1. Rock and Roll, 2. Dazed and Confused live 1973 (Page is rockin it with his bow on the guitar!), 3. whole Lotta Love live. Enjoy! I sure am.
When a band has masters of their art in one group it's lightning. Zep, Aerosmith, The Police, Yes, Queen, Van Halen, Rush. . . the list goes on. But Zep will definitely be the classical music of the year 3000s and up!
Those 70s bands (Deep Purple, Led Zep, Black Sabbath) brought that shit live like no other. Bigger than life attitude. I know you reacted to War Pigs studio but the live in Paris WAR PIGS is beyond amazing. More Zeppelin would be good also.

How dare they even do this. Beyond epic. The most grandstanding and show-boating.
Just love your reactions. so genuine. I am a 63 yr old rocker that saw Zep in 77, Eric Clapton, Ted Nugent, Doobie Bros in the 70's, Saw Pink Floyd Pulse tour in the 90's.
Thank you for taking the time to leave me a heart! I appreciate it!
Bands from that time got that raw sound because it wasn't pushed through a hundred computers. You're ACTUALLY listening to THE BAND!!! Nobody is original anymore. I'm afraid that time is gone but hopefully I'm wrong! Long Live Rock N Roll!!
Zeppelin was such a great band, I wish I was around back then to see them live, I wasn't born till 83😊 glad we have you tube to watch these live videos. The albums are amazing as well, the analog sound they have is out of this world. Anything analog was ear pleasing😂
Jimmy is a GOd. And yes I'll keep watching. Thank you.
Lit! Scored from the collection of my friend’s cool brother’s collection for one night when I was 13 and had also scored a six pack of talls. Great night full of memories and music.
All it takes is 2 words for led zeppelin an thats "ROCK GODS" ❤❤❤
By 1973 (the year I was born) Zeppelin were already outselling The Rolling Stones in America and relentless touring had made them the go-to band band. They had become a phenomenon rapidly on the scale of The Beatles before them.
Great job on the reactions! Really enjoyed experiencing Led Zeppelin again through your eyes and ears.
Suggestion: 1. Rock and Roll, 2. Dazed and Confused live 1973 (Page is rockin it with his bow on the guitar!), 3. whole Lotta Love live.
Enjoy! I sure am.
This is the first Zeppelin record I ever bought
When a band has masters of their art in one group it's lightning. Zep, Aerosmith, The Police, Yes, Queen, Van Halen, Rush. . . the list goes on. But Zep will definitely be the classical music of the year 3000s and up!
Your listening to the greatest band of all time
Those 70s bands (Deep Purple, Led Zep, Black Sabbath) brought that shit live like no other. Bigger than life attitude. I know you reacted to War Pigs studio but the live in Paris WAR PIGS is beyond amazing. More Zeppelin would be good also.
Rock and Roll Live Video (Madison Square Garden 1973) Original Records. Led Zeppelin in concert.
Loving this. I do believe that you would find ‘Kashmir’ simply delightful! The album version production is great. Fun to watch, as always. Peace brother ✌️
The Greatest Show on Earth
The studio vocals really show off what he could do.
Always gotta watch for Jimmy doing the chicken with his arms when he plays
Led Zeppelin are the masters of Rock 1 of the Best !!! 🤘🔥🎸💯...
