I didn’t notice that griffin or wallcroft actually pointed you out to price, in the og cod when you jumped on the heli. That’s how cpt price was able to help you. You can see this at 3:54
They all had their backs turned in the OG CoD, the remastered was the one that changed it so they pointed at you.

A few facts I wanna give:
If you censored the graphic content at the beginning of Mind The Gap, the truck will explode instead of showing Davis Family Vacation.
Griffin wasn't Michael Cudlitz's first role in a CoD game. He first voiced Sergeant Glenn Hawkins in Call of Duty 2: The Big Red One. He and a couple of other voice actors were chosen for a role in the game because their experience acting in the miniseries Band of Brothers.
Wallcroft appeared as one of the Hero characters in the now removed mobile game, Call of Duty Heroes.
Wallcroft is still alive after the explosion as the briefing directly after that mission has him say his last lines

Honestly considering in the OG MW Griffin was a random character who had about 2 seconds of screen time they probably didn’t think anyone would care. Wallcroft kinda acknowledges his death with the guess it’s just us now line though. I’m sure when they remaster the game they’ll add in a line or add a little animation of Wallcroft standing over his body or something. They’ve been very good at adding little details to these campaigns.

I think Wallcroft did have a moment for his teammate, if he was cold he wouldn't have pulled Griffen out of the wreck.

When I first play the OG MW, I was so confused why all the SAS Crew sounds like Gaz, and I also thought Ghost is Gaz wearing a mask to cover his headshot wounds😂

If the bullet goes through they are dead but if somehow it doesnt there is a slim chance of survival

He was shot with à hand gun so the caliber and luck saved him but if it is an assault rifle or any other bulllet bigger than 9mm your dead

Gas mask with the hoodie is the nicest looking random appearance
Someone in the franchise should make a "Spin off" game with Wallcroft and Griffen/Griffin as main characters in it, so we could sort of see a brotherly bond between the two soldiers. Also, with the e turning into an i in MW3, either a mistake by the devs, or a mistake in-game, like a misspelling in a report. Griffen is a bit unusual, unlike Griffin, which would make sense.
THATS the COD we need, not remakes that completely butcher the original story
I think it's safe to assume Burnes blacked out for a little bit there. By the time Burnes wakes up, Wallcroft is already up and about.
My guess is that Wallcroft checked Griffen asap and already mourned the unfortunate corporal in his own way before coming to check on us.

I would like to see Wallcroft reaction in MW3 remastered, we got some emotional details added in the remastered versions
Oh I did extremly love the SAS missions with that Iconic SAS operator look. Hope they remaster MW3. Also about Wallcrofts reaction on Griffin dying, the team was probably lazy but I like to think that while you cant see him he checks on Griffin to see if hes alive and just pushes through because of the mission.
With Wallcroft being 'colder' I see it as him being in the leadership role and having to keep his cool to get the job done

I was always a fan of their tactical gear and uniforms, I remember playing mind the gap over and over, always recognizing that they were the only two soldiers that couldn’t die
Its funny after 5 years, soap got promoted to captain while griffin and walcroft are still stuck at sgt and cpl. Basically their junior became their boss 5 years after he pass the sas selection. Mindblowing.
Fun fact: sgt willcroft makes an appearance in the old cod mobile game call of duty heros (a clash of clans like game) as a hero himself with art from crew expendable, i cant remember what his abilites were as price was a much better choice but i remember seeing him as a hero who i had but didnt use

I always loved the idea and philosophy of 22 SAS and all other Tier One special operations units. They are the deadliest individuals on the planet, yet no one knows their identity except close friends and family. They don’t care about fame, money, or recognition. They devote their lives to their country and could care less if they die. They practice everyday to be the best on the planet and going on missions is their showtime.
I like how the remaster makes these two more prominent characters. Even though they aren’t major ones like Price, Griggs, or Gaz, they were always cool to tag along with.
Maybe in in the remaster of MW3 they will have an animation where Wallcroft mourns Griffon’s death

Maybe he did because the player was blacked out so while the player was blacked out Wallcroft was probably caring for Griffin and once he realized he was dead he went forward with his life. Even though you dont see him or he doesn't sound like he lost someone close to him doesn't mean he didn't have a reaction.

I think Wallcroft was sad with Griffen's death. Burns was unconscious at the time. We never saw his true reaction. ''Come on, Burns. It looks like it's just us now....'' feels sad and tired. And don't forget, he has a mission. If he decided to cry on Griffen's body, they would miss the truck. We are talking about WWIII. Even Price didn't had time to cry on Soap's body. Sad.
I’m sure Wallcroft was devastated at Griffen’s death, he was just in the zone and focused only on the mission. In the military sometimes your closest friends never make it back. And it’s not like the movies where they get shot and you get to scream and mourn their loss. In combat there is no emotion, only calculated violence.
5:44 That's probably because Burns went unconcious after the train wreck. 4 hours actually seems reasonable enough for the chemicals to get to multiple locations across Britain, if you think about it.
Wallcroft and burn might died during the truck explosion because the explosion might damage their gas mask heavily

But that truck was a bit..there was no explosions ...But in other place, where Davis family were having trip...The explosion happened...So maybe Burns and Wallcroft went to safe zone before it spreads all over the city....Now we will never get to know

In an alternative timeline we played as Griffen with Wallcroft as our mentor.
On Soap’s book, initially it was Wallcroft who had the idea to switch gun with pistol to earn time, and on the book it was saying ‘’ who knew that wallcroft was good at something’’
I wish they kept like these bromance things rolling throughout the games, so if their buddy who has been with them throughout the series gets KIA'd and they're not really a main character to us, they'd have a proper reaction over it rather than "Guess we gotta move cuz you need to finish the campaign"
Like I get that things are serious, but 6+ years, no way in hell you just up and go without paying respects.
Tho my guess is that because you, the player were out cold Wallcroft could have paid his respects before you came to.

1. I think the reason its spelt Griffin instead of Griffen is because hes a different character, its not stated anywhere that they are the same people i think.
2. Its most likely all Bravo team members survived the gas attack due to the gas masks they were equipped with
Wallcroft, Griffin, Burns, Archer, Toad, Scarecrow, Ozone, Pheasant, Rook, Meat and Royce. Bring them all back!

I have infact seen wall craft in separate missions as a NPC and I also saw a NPC named sandman in Mw2. It's also mentioned in soaps journal that it was wallcraft who brought up the idea that switching to your weapon is faster than reloading
A little disappointed the small dialogue between the two during the truck ride in MW3 wasn't mentioned.
Wallcroft: "A little close there mate!"
Griffen: "Sod off! We're still in one piece!"
Wallcroft: "Just keep her steady!"
This also implies Griffen is driving and not Wallcroft

A playable SAS Seargent is in MW3 in the mission when you secure the trucks full of chemical gases.

I remember seeing Wallcroft and Griffin, didn't think about it much.
They should be bought back in the reboot but put them under the mentorship of Gaz, which is a parallel to Soap and Roach. I liked the multinational aspect in the OG but I’m not sure if that’s the direction the reboot wants to take so at least add all the British SAS soldiers back into 141 like Burns, Cook, Roth,… adds more to the game instead of having a marvel team and their 200 allies.

They are a beast backup team, they started that truck before the others could even get away, either they found the keys in the visor or they are beast at hot wiring
Wallcroft was prolly too much in shock to talk about it. I wouldn't say he was quite cold or smth like you did, because it could be the case that he was in pain and tried to get it out of his head
Knowing this continuity on the games now i replayed the trilogy and the desth of griffin hits harder now that i know, wallcrofts lack of reaction is probably due to the mission at hand but i personally sensed a little remorse in his voice when he said, "it's just us now.".
If you turn on the "disruptive content ", instead of the van is empty,
you will get the alternate ending where before they open the van it will explode and all the bravo 2, Sgt wallcroft and Burns to be KIA.

This mission was so badass I love how in mw2019 and mw2 you have some SAS style missions but in mw3 they need to make a mission similar to this with the SAS would be so badass

Bro their are only a few duos that are needed back, Wallcroft and Griffin, Toad and Archer, and for the the best duo Scarecrow and Ozon cause they were a badass teammates in the game, mostly Wallcroft and Griffin.
It is true, Wallcroft really is randomly generated in All In, also died in a Mission where we rescued Griggs, and 'Griffin' was randomly generated in One Shot One Kill and Heats.

1:18 it would cycle through different NPCs im the 2007 version and I remember wallcroft and Griffen always being together in the cycle.
9:03 cook was on the leader board and I’m pretty sure I saw Roth in the hanger or on the boat in the first game (edit) Roth was In the hanger in the original mw 1 and he was in the mw3 so they’ll or remove him entirely when they remaster mw3 😢
i think Wallcroft tried to check if Griffen is alive or not otherwise who pulled him out of the truck? but realising he was dead and what was at risk he probably oushed through sadness and finish his job tho im sure he was devestated afterwards since he most likely survived the Chemical attack also when he says "its just us now" he sounds sad when saying it or atleast a bit more sad than usual

fun fact: we don't know anything about the fate of Burns. If we pay attention, though, we can hear Wallcroft's voice saying after the attack "All units, Downing Street is in the contamined zone" in the cutscene introducing the next mission, "Goalpost". That make us assume that Wallcroft survived the blast, even if he was just a little bit tooo close to the truck at the end of this mission. So, using logic, if playing as Burns we stay just a little further away from the line of SAS soldiers (or simply behind Wallcroft) technically Burns would have survived too. And considering that since they are all wearing gas masks as part of SAS soldiers' equipment, it's understandable that they survived to the gas attack once they avoided the explosion.
For this reason, I don't think that Wallcroft speaking in the next mission is an error, I think is more an error his strange position on the road block becouse seriously man the fuckin' truck exploded in front of your very british axcent waaayyy to close (considering that poor David's family instantly died from like twenty meters of distance)
In the loading screen of gold post you can hear the last line of sgt wallcroft in OG MW
We do see Walcroft in the cutscene right after this mission on the radio saying to baseplate that downing Street is in the contaminated area of the gas attack so he does survive thanks to his respirator

the og price telling soap to get up makes a little more sense on the beginning of the ship explosion than the remastered one, but the remastered also makes sense more but i don't know which is better.

Only a partial amount of the SAS team survive the gas attack because of the gas masks, some die because of the explosion of the truck or exposure of the gas. We know this because Price and Macmillaan say about adding names to the Hereford watchtower, which is what’s used to remember the fallen comrades
og codmw 2 was the contuniation of cod4mw and its campaign was the summary of the events that happened 5 years later from cod4mw.There are some questions that stucked in my head.What happens in that 5 years?How was the TF-141 established?How did Soap rose to the Captain rank? How did og Ghost and others join to the Tf-141?And what was Sgt.Roach's story?How did Makarov appear in the cod evolution?(before codmw2)
We need to find out these questions' answers.

Wallcroft in crew expendable was like that random npc soldier on your side what have the rope who was behind price i think he was on the same place but on the other side but he doesnt repel first so i dont know but as we can see the sas soldier behind price repel first because he sit there with rope and he was the closest to the rope and we can see it but creators probably didnt think about that because we didnt see it so probably he sit on the place with the rope but just because we didnt see him they didnt care about this detail but he is probably my favorire character i hope he come in the new universe with griffin and more npc s

I played it again and in the helicopter you cant see wallcroft but when you repel down and in the time they repel down you can see wallcroft sit there lile the sas soldier on your side and yes he repels first i was wrong sorry but yes he is there (i played the remastered version So I'm not so sure about original but when i get chance i gonna play it
