Layering techniques for complex patinas gives a much more organic look than simply drawing it on with brushwork. I’m a BIG fan of these kinds of recipes. I’m going to try this on my next model. Thanks!
you gave me the idea
Mini is "Darkmantle" from Bestiarum Miniatures, for those curious.
Thanks friend :)
@@alexandercastillo2519 Of course!
Looks great, easy to follow. I thought TMM required understanding how light bounces/reflects off of surfaces. These steps don't take into account material overhang and the duller light reflected up. Not sure this is actual TMM, but looks table ready 😁
it is true metallic metal, light will do what it does
i think your thinking of NMM non metallic metal, TMM is just painting with metallic paints which will reflect light on its own. There are people that use metallic paints but with a nmm style which also looks great
Nice tutorial. I can use this method in my scale RC’s and gunpla.
Glad other hoobies find it useful 😁
Could you do a painting vid on the trench crusader? Thats would be so cool.
sue can, maybe i could use the allstein release from bestiarum games? could you guide me to some stl's i could use?
Looks nice
thank you
Adrien Kent Art on UA-cam has some great videos on adding what he calls "color glazing" on armor. He mainly uses GW washes diluted but does a great job on explaining how and it looks great
You changed ur name?!
yes, made an announcement which got little views, but better now than later
