- Officer Joe Gutierrez of the Windsor Police Department in Virginia, who held a Black and Latino army lieutenant at gunpoint, handcuffed him and doused him with pepper spray during a violent traffic stop last December has been fired, officials said. Bodycam video of the incident shows Lt. Caron Nazario attempting to deescalate the situation, which was apparently confusing to him, as he asked what was going on several times. He was released without being charged, and is now suing the town. #InsideEdition
“YOU SHOULD BE SCARED”
The fact the cop said “yeah you should be” shows they had the intent to hurt this man and scare him to further traumatize him
“Don’t ask the officer questions, you will
“I’m honestly afraid to get out”
Driver: "I'm afraid to get out"
"I'm honestly afraid to get out"
All of those cops involved should be in prison.
Absolutely disgusting!!! Thank you sir for your professionalism in that situation!! I would’ve been terrified to get out too!! Especially when cop said you should be.. Those cops need to be canned!!! I’m not anti police but this is ridiculous!!! People deserve to be treated like humans from the get go!!! And thank you sir for your service..
They left out the best part. At the end of the ordeal, the officer told him they would drop the charges as long as he didn’t report the incident. They threatened to ruin his military career unless he kept this quiet
Cop clearly said he should be afraid to get out. Implying that him getting out of car was unsafe
You can't tell him to get out and then tell him he needs to be scared of getting out...disgusting behaviour
The fact that they have to drive into a well lit area because they fear harm, it’s scary.
“I’m afraid to get out”
"I'm afraid.."
I cant belive he was treated like this. He served for this country he should get respected fully
He can’t get out and keep his hands out of the window. It’s impossible
No one is mentioning he only got fired bc this went viral this incident is almost 2-3 months old
“I’m scared to get out!”
"I keep wondering how we became a society that accepts the idea that a police officer can give any command he wishes and if the response isn't instantaneous, accurate and subordinate to his tyranny, then he is authorized to escalate to using deadly force upon that person for merely questioning his judgement."
Why would the cop tell him you should be afraid? crazy!
