Fear is not the job of the police this is despicable
Another day of law enforcement officers practicing the "deescalation" tactics they're trained to uphold.
There are those who believe that if you make a person afraid you can control them. For many it's true. This why police often use fear to gain obedience.
@@deltatrianda-tria8288 In my country policemen training/education etc takes 3 years. Thinking of what and how they work is duty.
@@anonymouswatermelon5202 The thing is that "deescalation" has its place- but its far and few between in terms of realistic situations. Rather, the proper place for deescalation is when dealing with an EDP. Other than that, it rarely works to prevent a use of force.
@@wizzard4063 Well no- not quite: If I want to get you to comply with what I'm asking you to do, there's really only one way to do it, which is to use coercion. Practical Example: "If you don't put your hands behind your back right now and stop resisting, you're going to get pepper sprayed in the face and it will burn." Now, if you continue to resist and act a fool, after being warned- you simply deserve to lie in your own bed of roses. In this case, the individual was given the option to comply with the verbal command to exit the vehicle several times. What's important here is that, for officer safety as well as law enforcement reasons, this is not the proper time nor the place to go on about "your rights" and "keeping the black man down". Rather, if you THINK your so-called "rights" are being violated (which unless you're an attorney, rest assured the law doesn't give you the rights you THINK you have- this is an area where by all means you should do your research and know the actual law as opposed to myth of what the majority of people erroneously THINK the law is), your sole recourse of action is to file a lawsuit. Even if your rights are being violated, it doesn't give you the legal right to resist arrest, to engage in obstruction, etc. because these things are, in and of themselves, crimes without legal exception. The exception is those FEW states (only two states have a law to this effect to my knowledge, Oklahoma being one of them). that explicitly allow a person to use reasonable force, but never deadly force, to terminate "excessive" force- BUT even these states require a person to cease resisting once the excessive force is in fact terminated. The big problem with this is that the force used must actually be excessive, not merely interpreted as such by you- meaning the federal district court had better damn well agree with your position and version of the facts.
Two criminals in police uniforms harassing a service member. Completely unacceptable. As well as being dismissed, they should be charged for falsifying their report as well.

When you keep finding so many bad apples, at some point you might want to find out what’s wrong with the tree.
Well said
the tree is rotting
Yep, hit the nail on the head. 😕
Great comment
Wisely said
deep stuff
The guy was scared to unbuckle is seatbelt so he kept his hands in sight of the officer, no need to even pull a gun
You’re wrong, he didn’t keep his hands in sight of the officer, he kept both his damn arms all the way out the window! His arms couldn’t have been more in the officer’s sights!
In all seriousness, those officer’s actions are complete bs. Based on the Lt’s actions, the cops have zero excuse for the treatment they made that man endure.

one thing that everyone ignores - that temporary plates were behind tinted window and barely visible. Can anyone distinguish numbers there? I can't. About how they treated the driver, is another question.

Made the right choice of keeping his hands shown. If he tried unbuckling himself to get out of the car, I wouldn't be surprised if they shot him and claimed they thought he was reaching for a weapon with how quick they were to take out their weapons.

In your ignorance, you failed to realize that he had a gun right next to his right leg. Stop watching small news clips and watch the entire body cam footage that shows all of it in context. Then maybe you won't make such idiotic comments.

So is this the current law enforcement practice in Small-Town, USA ? I would just about bet that "in-service training is probably absolutely minimal at best, maybe 90 hours ? sadkitty.louie@gmail.com
in my country something like this is impossible to happen, even though the police or the soldier violate the rules there is a separate force to handle cases like this, namely the military police, to handle cop or army that violates the rules. it means that there are still those in authority above those who are authorized
@Daniel Walder Well, basically it depends on the individual from the army or cop, they have more authority than ordinary people, they shouldn't be arrogant and high-handed
When a police officer is fired, they should be banned from working at another police department.
They aren't?
@@dennisnirmark1353 Nope. They move to other places and get hired.
@@sueann9065 But doesn't it get on his record, that he was fired from the police force? I was fired for many years ago. And it took me 3 and a half year before i could get hired again. Because i was fired and didn't quit on my own terms. It was very difficult to get hired. No one wanted to hire me.
@@dennisnirmark1353 From previous cases I've seen, their records don't stop them from being employed. It also doesn't cause them to be fired while on the job. The officer that beat a man with Down Syndrome in Miami had multiple violent offenses on his police record. Other cases, the officer moved to another State or city within their current State and was hired despite being fired for excessive force.
