@@Ramprust No, my point was that this situation is still possible if there were locks, so it isn't as foolproof as they implied with "this is why". It could still happen. Not that there shouldn't be more measures taken for security or that there is no value in this as you assumed. Just admit you're having a temper tantrum, Ramprust.
And... This is why ALL women (and men) should learn self defense.
It was not a coincidence that he came to the door just one second after she closed it. He was just behind the wall, waiting her to open the door so he could get in easily without forcing her to do it. Hopefully she knew that he was following her.. she closed that door so quickly!
And if at any point she had tried to run away from him, he'd have paced up to catch her. Instead she pretended all along to have not noticed him, good on her.
Duh
@@nad1ax2 no
I guess she must have noticed him following her, so she was opening the door in hurry and then closed it quickly.
@@aaronjames3228 yeah duh.....
Dude had the nerve to say “excuse me” like he meant well after bolting down the hallway at her 💀
dont worry surely the young gentleman wanted to return something that fell out of her pocket🙄💀
honestly that makes it even creepier lmao
AHahahahahahahhahahahaHAHHAHA
@@skaty1527 so why didn't he say something to her when he was behind her in the bigger hallway? You make no sense

The fact that he had the audacity to demand her to open the door is appalling.
BOLO for the guy!!

His name is Orisha Luckey and at the time of his arrest for this attack he had 37 previous arrests. He was only charged with attempted burglary and trespassing.
There aren't any news articles that I could find explaining how it ended up. Unfortunately, as this is New York City and evidenced by his previous 37 arrests he was likely given either a slap on the wrist or had the charges dropped.
This dude, “excuse me?” “Ayo” this guy acting like he was finna ask to borrow some sugar to make his renowned 5 layer chocolate cake, and that she was trippin for not opening it. We in the last days fr

Clearly a DEMON incarnation.
😭
Not funny. But your statement is 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yeah his methods (stalking her at a moderate pace until she started opening her door and then sprinting, trying to wedge his foot in the door etc.) seem so calculated and practiced, and yet he makes his existence known to the whole floor? It's just so bizarre.
This is one of my worst nightmares and I’m just glad that woman is okay.
Mine too, so scary!
When my friends dont understand why i am afraid in the dark, I tell them it is not the ghosts i am worried about, it is crazy people! Like this dude!! :(
should be restrained
@@kidneytransplant2843 yes me too..be careful and stay safe! i recommend all women to get a little alarm or something in your bags
Same, I actually have stress dreams about people bursting through doors to attack me. I can’t imagine experiencing this in real life :(
@@bubblegumgirl420kiwi4 I live in America where crime rate is pretty high. Just a few months ago a woman got stabbed near our downtown by a guy when she was walking home from work. Then a few days later I saw on the news that a guy had killed and buried a woman in a national park. It's so scary to be out at night for me. I'm paranoid so I only imagine the worst.
I’d literally move out within the same week. This girl is amazing.

This is my worst nightmare. I can’t imagine how scared she was.
The fact that this is a woman's worst nightmare makes my head as a man drop in shame along with my heart. 😞💔
This reminded me of a thriller movie where the woman is so nervous she’s fumbling with her keys trying to get in the door…whew, glad she escaped him!
A gun would make you way more comfortable. And could save your life. Just make sure it's locked up at night because guns escape and go to the hood and shoot people for no reason.
I know! Like a literal nightmare that I've had! I feel so bad for her, but so happy she's okay. 🖤
That's your worst one?
Really...smh
Find this guy. She's not the first, won't be his last.

Recently there was a case just like this where the "youth" pushed his way inside right before she could lock the door, and stabbed the woman to death. Around youths, never relax.

“This is what a rapist looks like”
Man that was intense I'm glad she made it into the door.
She was definitely aware of the situation, clearly, she was jingling those keys in the door like her life depended on it, and it did. So lucky she got inside.
According to Democrats and BLM who analyzed the video this is a case of a Karen racist against an unarmed black man who simply want to return and item he picked up and thought belonging to the woman. But since he is black the assumption is that he is a murderer. If he was an unarmed white male the assumption is that he has a legitimate purpose.
@@gamhananalanka You don’t run after a woman trying to get into her apartment, you’re going to be seen as a threat regardless of your skin color if you’re a man chasing a woman up to her door.
She was aware but didn't give herself away by looking nervous. She used her other senses & paid attention to his footsteps instead of continuously looking back and wasting precious time. Smart girl... but then again we have to be in NY, especially NYC. It gets crazy in the Bronx.
