      @OmniscientWarrior 2 роки тому +33

      That wasn't admission of wrong address but confirmation of what the guy was stating in a more round about way. Due to how things went, we cannot be full certain that it was the wrong address, the call was done out of mistaken belief that someone drank the acetone and they won't admit they were mistaken to the cops, or if this was in fact the right address and someone did drink the acetone and just trying to cover up that fact for fear of getting into trouble and CPS getting involved. However, if things started off correctly and the cops right off the bat just started with telling the man that they received a call... and just wish to confirm that everyone there was fine and confirm this was the correct address, it may have gotten better results; but more than likely, would have left with the same amount of info as they did, but much more quickly and peacefully.

Or at least that's how it's interpreted in my head. Makes complete sense if your target demographic are the chronically poor and disenfranchised. Because if dumb people aren't smart enough to do crimes, why do we need police for the uneducated poor? If smart people can't be cops because they might do crimes, then why don't the cops stop THEM from doing their daily crimes?

    My father was a green beret, and had a few encounters where police tried to overstep their bounds with him. He taught me a lot about how to protect my rights and deny police abuse. He would audit his own rights frequently by sitting on the porch, cleaning his firearms and practice shooting. Our property had a large clearance from other homes, well outside the limits to allow him to discharge firearms freely on the property. Funniest thing I have ever seen is an officer getting the F out after being shown they were operating outside the bounds of the law and violating our rights and illegally trespassing.

The cops did not ever say "We are looking for these people" (and give the names). Since the cops did not ever explain who they were and why they were there, the cops jumped straight to the PERSONAL INSULTS stage.

I don't go into any situation with any type of preconceived notions about anybody's race, Creed or whatever you're out of pocket as well because that was highly disrespectful and that tells me his judgment is off and to be a cop and have judgment that is off is not a good thing and buddy you don't know what sensitive is.

      @@leebloomfield507 what I didn't understand is why the police officers just didn't come out and say " why exactly they were there?" The police officers mentioned " well fare check, but didn't mention what kind of well fare check, until the situation escalated to the point that the husband became irate?" This is why learning to be a better communicator with the public is so important. I don't believe that firing the male police officer was the right thing? More training would probably have helped this police officer? Training and more and mental care is needed for law enforcement too! Their human being's too!

    1:00 He IMMEDIATELY took an attitude with his snarky "You don't know who that is?". Dripping with sarcasm. I knew it was over right there and then to follow it up with GF/baby mama is almost unbelievable and THEN follows all that up with "eat a d***". This cop has disrespected so many. I think any time a cop is fired every single case he was involved in should be re-examined.

    C. Marler was still a probationary cop in training. So he was "Let go" after 18 months. The way he started the conversation in such a disrespectful manner showed he was either a racist or treated everyone like crap. Thankfully he got caught early in his career.

      I think it was his partner’s response to that that made him realize he’d screwed up. Cops can’t allow themselves to get caught up in ego battles with citizens. They really need to train for these situations. First off, handle the first interaction MUCH better than they did here. But secondly, if it has gone south, then what? The woman cop here did a very good job trying to bring calmness back to this encounter so they could get the answers they were looking for.

Along with all the money they get for being on paid leave, that is free money no wonder they aren't afraid to kill or brutize a citizen it makes them richer.
