Having fished multiple s in different sizes and colors, ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 this is by far my favorite. One thing to be aware of is the sided willow blade. One side is silver and the other is the green/orange shown. This is not bad, just unconventional. In terms of fishing, I have found the lure works just fine without a tail like a craw or shad. That addition is up to you. Also, the hook part where you attach the swivel snap or tie the line is a problem on baits these days, since it's able to slide up and down. However this lure seems to be tight enough that that doesn't happen often, and you can solve it by putting a thin slice of medical tube over the hook before attaching the line. Like others have said, it's really magic on a good windy day.
I troll the 115mm madmacs on 40lb mono , no leader , just 50cm of 44lb ss wire alberto'd to the line and haywire to the lure split ring. 140lb yellowfin last time , 9 knot troll speed , shimano tyrnos 30 spooled with 500m platypus pulse ( world's BEST mono) , shimano 5'7" backbone elite rod...the Nomads are great lures , wahoo love them also and the hooks are great
I used a maurader bonito about the same size on the red rooster lll ran it short in the middle just. Under the prop wash killed the bigger albacore even stopped the boat several times in the dark possibly due to the under water stern lights this went on for all five days ( wasn't a fluke)
I’m pretty sure they are available at Island Fishing Tackle in Carson, California and or big fish bait and tackle and sealed Beach California, as well as a Myriad of other tackle shops.
@@FriedmanAdventuresPodcast thanks a lot for yhe info, I've ordered a few for the 2024 blue fin season out in donegal bay ireland, had some great fish upto 700lb last season, looking for the magical 1000lber
