I had the opportunity to interview Richard during my visit to the Big House August 4, 2022 I appreciate you taking the time for me Richard, much appreciated.
Brian Farmer mentioned in the video was Warren Haynes long time guitar tech, i had the pleasure of talking to Mister Farmer at the Comfort Zone in Toronto, Canada Aug. 1, 2000 at the Gov't Mule show.
Video made by Glenn Rodger on a GoPro9 with internal microphone. - Розваги
I've been in the big house when the brothers still lived there, used to drive down the alley and go into the house from the back.
Very cool. I’m sure you have wonderful stories of those days. Thanks for sharing.

Lived at the farm at juliette with dickey and Sandy and baby Jessica and papa Harold for two years shortly after Duane had the wreak.
Got to go there a few years back, Richard describing thier home life and family is so spot on to the feeling you get in the big house. You can feel that a lot of love and good times were shared there. It's great to see all of the guitars, drums and cool pictures that hold so much meaning that you can feel the energy in the rooms. But the coolest thing about that place is getting so see that they were ordinary guys that cared about their families and each other! The Allman Brothers will always be a family of brothers and sisters.
I can't wait to go back
I can't imagine what it would have been like to actually have known Duane Allman.
He was a genius on guitar. His slide playing sounded different from everybody else. He had a distinctive sound and style of playing.
In the early 70s he was very innovative. He was very influential to the youth. In the early 70s when teenagers in the northeastern part of the U.S. heard Duane Allman play guitar...they just flipped out!
People became obsessed with learning how to play like him. The first two Allman Brothers Band studio albums and Fillmore East became iconic to the youth. Kids all over the northeast were forming bands and attempting to play Allman Brothers material. Duane Allman was a really important person to the youth.
I knew Brian Farmer for many years..He was a good man & used to be guitar tech for Johnny Cash when I met him Nashville..He taught me a lot..R.I.P. brother.
Thanks for sharing.. I didn't know he was with Johnny Cash. I only met Brian Farmer once, it was July 30, 2000. That was the night after Warren and Woody sat in with ABB, since they left in 1997. They sat in with ABB one more time before Woody passed, three weeks later. I've seen Mule every time they've been to Toronto, and ABB many times. It was a dream come true, to go to the Big House.
I was there a month ago for my Allman Brothers pilgrimage. A great two days in Macon.
Very cool
Great guy, spokesperson, and historian of the ABB family.
I love this guy, his passion the band is crazy amazing

Thanks.
I'm your lucky thirteenth like! Thank u for posting
Thanks for watching!
Is it a museum now!!?? Would love that !
The house is full of Allman Brothers memorabilia. We visited their gravesite too in Rosehill Cemetery, the entire band is buried next to each other
What happened to Callaghan & Joe Dan Petty ??
Good question. Joe Dan was a great guitar tech and left to start his own band.
@@glennrodger-majesticvideo8789 Thanks I appreciate it. Would be great to see a short video on the members of the Road crew that appear on the 'Fillmore East' album cover. After all, they are immortalized & an important part of the sound. Think Duane would have agreed.
Be nice to see something besides him yappin'.
I did more video, I was there for a few hours. I walked up to Richard to ask a question. He was so into it, I just kept asking questions off the top of my head. This video of our time together is unedited. He yapping about what interests me. I’m grateful for my time with him. The Big House is an amazing place.
Most Boring Presentation and interview ever...ties with The View!
