As Patricia H. commented, I had also forgotten how fun these kids were. I did latch hooking in the early 1980s as a teenager. It was very fun. Thanks for the refresher course.

I had forgotten how much fun these kits are. They are something like puzzles you leave out and work on, in fact, my husband and I used to take turns on a kit. They make nice gifts, are not hard on old hands. I like your channel Mr. Spider.

Thank you so much! I swear I watched every tutorial on UA-cam on how to do this, and yours was the only one that clicked for me.

Mahalo Nui, haven’t made Latch Rugs since the ‘80’s and needed a refresher, for Christmas gifts, and since you taught me how to create Beanies, I appreciate the fact that you had another helpful Video! Mahalo and Aloha!

I separated my yarn with bread ties. I can pull them out one at a time or several, and not have to dig around in a bag or any container. Also, I can throw it all back in the box that way to get it off the table when I’m not working on it, and still keep it separated. Thank you for reviewing this and doing the tutorial. I’m new at this and your instructions really help!

I used to do these a long time ago when the pattern was printed on the canvas. Not that thrilled with the rug part, but that chart could definitely be used to make an awesome crocheted graphgan.

I did one of these in junior high. The yarn was much longer, easier to hold onto, and pull through the hole. This kit looks like they gave you the bare minimum of length you could work with.

I use a latch hook to do the bullion stitch. You are so nice to watch or listen to. You have a lovely personality. If you worked several of the same size you could join them together for a bedside rug or some such.

I haven't done any latch hooking since my teens over 50 years ago, but I did enjoy it. I agree with you about the way the yarn is bundled. I still prefer crocheting or knitting as my go to crafts. Thank for your great review.
