I've had every symptom and sign except the cough. 4 YEARS of unintentional weight loss, 5 YEARS flank pain, 4 YEARS lethargy, 3 YEARS peripheral edema and abdominal ascites. EVERY test abnormal and not a single worthless doctor will diagnose let alone treat the progressive condition. AND they refuse to even treat empirically. SEVERE flank pain for 5 YEARS and not a single doctor has prescribed ANY meds for ANY symptom.

@@maureenobrien9815 16 hrs is the minimum required to initiate autophagy, which is the body process that cleans up excess connective tissue, free floating can'cer cells etc. That's not just 16 hours after eating. That's 16 hours after the belly is empty AND all glycogen reserves in the liver and muscles have been depleted. That's why fasting works best with a low carb diet. It keeps those reserves lower or close to empty, which means you reach autophagy faster.

Never get chemo. Do research on natural ways to cure cancer. There is no money in curing cancer and your doctor isn’t payed to cure you. The system works because people stay sick and are repeat customers, not because they cure you and give you the knowledge to never come back. It’s counterproductive to their business success to actually cure you.

Well in my particular situation I’m good with that, I won’t fight cancer unless it’s a very very curable kind. I’ve known too many people bankrupt their family that is left and die anyway, and their last months were in and out of doctors and hospitals. I’ve already buried a son, I’ve had three lives for the one everyone else gets. It will be sad for my family but I won’t fight. What is a “good age” anymore? People tend to think 70 is too young to die? But what about the 90 year old that hangs on and hangs on with dementia or loss of faculties in other ways? I’m not headed for that if I have anything to say about it.

    • @Millixxxxxx

In Austria, where there are a lot of taxes, about 20 percent of your gross income go towards the public health care system and the state pension system. (Another 20 to 55 % of your monthly gross income are pure taxes for earning money which helps fund essential infrastructure, corrupt politicians etc. - but that's another story)
Well, I'm fine with giving up a fifth of my income if it means I can get adequate health care when needed. The problem is, that you can't get a single appointment for some doctors. For example, dermatologists are completely booked for several months if not years. So, if you got an acute problem, you have to call and pray to God they'll have mercy on you and squeeze you in within a week or two. However, more often than not they will tell you they don't take care of new patients.
The only way to get checked out in a reasonable amount of time is by paying extra for your visit. There is a special system for doctors that don't have contracts with the public health care system in Austria. They are independent and can charge you whatever they like for their services. For example, a 3 minute trip to the dermatologist will cost you 110 €. Keep in mind, you're already involuntarily spending 20 % of your income on the public health and pension system.
This situation is only getting worse. For the last vaccine shot I got (non Covid) I waited 4 hours at a public doctor's office.

@@PardieDiem Macrobiotics was discovered in Japan through the course of trial and error over 5000 years ago. Its principles are based on the order of the universe. Macrobiotics is sold as a diet in this country. But it’s necessary to understand why certain foods are good to eat and others are not. It stands to reason that foods contain chemicals, highly processed, frozen foods can never be right to eat. Also anything cooked on electricity, microwave, or induction can never be right either. We have gone from the natural to the most unnatural in what we eat and how we prepare it. You cut off at least 20 years off your life by eating animal foods and sugar. Western medicine gets it all wrong. All their drugs and vaccines contain highly toxic chemicals and can never be right to consume. I recovered naturally from my heart attack and what I believe to have been 3 cancerous tumors in my colon based on my symptoms that I experienced in 1983 when I was 27. Macrobiotics is golden. It’s the most radical, constructive, and positive sociopolitical activism possible.

Many doctors these days get resentful when you ask too many questions. Also, they don't examine the way the did 50 years ago. Then, you had to disrobe and given a gown. They had you open your mouth while they checked that, they looked into your ears, they checkeed your eyes and gave you a vision test, they felt your throat, they looked at your face, looked at your feet and felt them for any swelling or odd looks, they tapped your knew and checked your reflexes. They listened to your heart and lungs, they had to lay down and pushed on your abdomen for any irregularities, also at your back and THEN they did the bloodwork. Imaging how many illnesses not showing up in the blood would have been detected before it even got into that stage. All they do now is talk a little, listen to your heart and lungs (all while you are fully dressed), take your BP, temp, weight and THEN they order bloodwork and depend on that to tell them things. We have to pay strict attention to ourselves because it's beginning to feel like we are going to a factory when going to the doctors. A friend of mine has a great doctor, he looks at her tongue and last week told her she was a little dehydrated just by looking into her mouth! She had no idea and he told her to drink more water. But, all that said we have to search for a good doctor who treats us the way they would treat their family - hard but that's what we need.

One little know sign of cancer is polka dots on the body (mine appeared on my breast). I woke up to this over 4.5 years ago and I KNEW I had cancer. My surgical oncologist didn't believe me. I had to beg to get my MRI of the breast ASAP instead of December. I just had a mammogram in June (2019), and it showed nothing. However, I KNEW I had cancer and advocated for myself and she authorized it. August of 2019 I had an MRI, which showed a mass. Had a biopsy and was diagnosed with breast cancer in September of 2019. I had surgery November 2019 and looking back, I'm thankful I persisted because 2020 hit and COVID. Imagine how long it would've taken to get surgery at that time and how much it could have spread. I was also thankful because my husband was able to make all appointments leading up to and including surgery and any appointments before COVID. He only missed the first post surgery appointments. He's been at all follow up appointment. I treated my breast cancer holistically and I'm 4.5 years cancer free.

I am very saddened to read some of these comments. Healthcare has changed and medical gaslighting is a growing concern. It is heartbreaking to read that some of you wouldn’t fight cancer and I understand why. Especially given a flawed US medical system. Cancer is a devastating disease. I have recently been diagnosed with a rare nasal cancer. I was constantly being reassured that it wasn’t sinister but I had non healing ulcers, blocked nostril, constant right sided headache, trigeminal neuralgia, watering eye and I begged for a biopsy. It took a year to diagnose. I am 52 , work out at the gym, eat healthy and work as a nurse. I’ve never smoked which is the main cause of this cancer and it only affects 20% of women. I’m currently waiting surgery for a nose reconstruction whereby they graft from my skull, ear and forehead. Then I might have to have radiation therapy which is extremely toxic. I am fortunate that I live in the UK so my treatment is free. But I do feel like we don’t treat people holistically. Im terrified of my up and coming treatment and would much rather take a metabolic approach but this research is not recognised in the UK. Cancer is cruel! Sending you all virtual hugs. 🤗

This video is probably a disclaimer for previous videos because of the pressure applied to him by the medical system. Unfortunately , most people look to someone else for the responsibility for their health. Dr. Dhand and his videos give some of the best advice you can get anywhere. But that is all it is “advice” until someone that has the discipline to apply his advice listens to him. The few that can apply it will benefit but the rest will always look to someone else .

It's not happening to just Medicare recipients. Longer wait times for appointments are largely due to labor shortages and increasing demands. 10,000 boomers turn 65 every day in this country, and with that comes chronic illnesses. As our population ages and nearly 50% of physicians are nearing retirement age, there simply aren't enough doctors to meet the demand.

I can’t watch this one Dr. Dhand. I’m 74 and have Medicare. “They” take $1K from our SS and the plan pays a small % on our Rx. I take one and my husband takes two. Dr prescribed two others for him but he wouldn’t take them. You can probably guess which ones. Most people 65 and over take a statin, metformin and some kind of BP med. Dr. got very perturbed when he suspected my husband wasn’t taking them. Both of us had elevated blood pressure. By the time the dr got to us. 2 hours in the waiting room area and another hour in the exam room. Notice on the exam room wall stated we couldn’t complain about the time waiting as we would have to leave. In other words, shut up and wait. My blood pressure was the same as my husband’s. He said nothing about mine except “ I’m not worried about yours” 😳 Dr wrote another BP script and scheduled next appointment in June. Medicare requires one physical yearly. I will however reschedule it for a morning appointment. They will at least get you seen by lunchtime.🤣 I watch your channel and a couple more. There’s plenty of common sense and natural ways to heal. Prayer is my first go to. There’s not enough time and space to explain the many reasons I’ve come to this conclusion. Love you and God bless!

Dr Dhand, thank you for your enlightened videos. I am 84 now, a lifelong vegetarian who is fit and healthy. I was lucky to have a mother who understood food and how it is grown/made/manufactured and educated me on the best ways to eat. I grew up in the UK during WW2, but rationing wasn't too bad for us because we were able to trade our meat rations for all kinds of goodies. Keep up the good work - Americans eat really badly!!!!!

I would cut out sugar completely, cut out seed oils completely. Cut down on flour based food. Do intermittent fasting twice a week. Try out some of the speculative fruits that are supposed to suppress cancer such as soursop and monk fruit. It may or may not work but at least it’s trying. Two relatives have died of cancer but some ten and twenty years ago before I got into UA-cam and saw all this speculative advice. Maybe start improving diet and exercise now? I’m trying.

Once produce has been milled it is no longer food but utter junk
Same for salt, refined salt is toxic, it's used in all milled goods.

What I see more and more happening is doctors not listening to their patients. I have gone through personally so many GPs trying to find one that cares enough to listen. My dad kept going to the same general practitioner complaining of the same things finally 14 years ago after Thanksgiving he went to the ER and he had late stage four lung cancer, his GP never even sent him for a chest x-ray let alone going further with it. In my heart of hearts that doctor assisted in my father‘s death and will never be held accountable.
On that same note there was not a lot of hope for my father with lung cancer but my mom who was diagnosed with lung cancer four years ago was getting her smokers screening every year so when they found her lung cancer it was an early stage one and the medication‘s that they have now a lot of times you don’t even need to go on chemo or radiation, there are miracle drugs out there now.

Thank you for the warning signs. I noticed that my sister and brother in law where both getting very heavy through the abdomen but their arms and legs appeared thin. My brother in law passed away in October from stage 4 intestinal cancer. My sister was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer of the uterus and had a complete hysterectomy last month and is undergoing chemotherapy. She is tolerating it well and is showing improvement. I just thought they were gaining weight because of a lack of physical activity so all of these warning signs are important to pay attention to. 😊

Well how about telling people before they actually waste time and money attending a consultant appointment. No wonder the NHS hasn’t got resources. On the day of the biopsy patients waited hours without food and water got to the theatre to be told on the bed it’s cancelled. A lady told me it’s the third time it’s happened to her.

My gosh! With my insurance, where I live, and how short staffed every medical place I go to is, sounds like I'm a goner anyhow should cancer be the prognosis. In my experience, it takes months to get any kind of testing done, if I can get my pcp to order them. My current pcp seems to be cooperative with that, but 2 months to see her, 2-3 more months for any testing that can't be done in office, 2-3 more months if the local hospital say they aren't equipped either to do tests called for. Still waiting on biopsy results done two and a half months ago as of to date.

It doesn't do much good to have interventions that will stop cancer, when the system refuses to look for it even when people tell them what is happening. Since most of us are not doctors we can't know anything.

Even when my labs were abnormal and she referred me to a hematologist that doctor also dismissed my abnormal labs and told me I was probably diabetic. Nope hba1c was 5.7.
