Holy sh... This video is really cringeworthy to watch, after seeing what a huge crap/scam this thing is from real reviews. This is a prime example of why paid advertisement on social media should always be marked as that and definitely not be mistaken as a honest review from a person. The humane AI is also 50X’s slower to respond.

Bold of you to assume Samsung or Apple would approve any sort of AI cloud based sign ins into their ecosystems.
Simply put, you CANNOT do this on app architecture because neither companies would play ball with Rabbit OS, they would rather create their own AI closed ecosystems.

Everything is very fast except from food order. Uber is fast enough but they can improve.

Your phone cannot do things on your behalf.
You cannot stack commands with any smartphone AI assistants, the Rabbit R1 also can scan documents, make edits, and send a revised edit to your email within 3 seconds. The stacked commands allow you to order Uber, ask a question about the news, and check the weather simultaneously, you cannot do this on any other device currently.

Every interaction costs them. Yet, they are only charging a one-time purchase fee. Predictions:
p0: they will go out of business in a year, and / or
p1: they will introduce subscriptions, and / or
p2: they are extracting non-trivial value from our data (=everything the device sees, hears, senses).
as an addendum to p0: They PLAN to go out of business in a year.
The only problem is the time of the response, in the video there is a cut every time when the device is responding, is it better or worse than humanAI? I think it's roughly the same, because the device needs an internet connection to work, so I don't know, the idea behind it is awesome but, we are not there yet, when the hardware catches it up and we cannot rely on the cloud, it would be awesome.
I also cut out almost every time I breath in my UA-cam videos b/c I'm impatient 🤣 There is some wait time for things like uber and DoorDash, but most of the questions I ask and the vision is pretty fast! I also cut out a lot of the long explanations for the bananas. She gave me like 10 things I could make with them.
I think we're pretty much there as far as technology

It is much much faster than the Humane AI pin, the average wait to response time is 2 seconds, but specifically Doordash takes much longer, apparently it’s because the doordash website is slow in general, but they said it’ll be fixed in a future update.

Google AI has already covered all the features and makes available for Android and working for iOS as well.
Then what’s the point to purchase this device separately??
It's enjoyable to use and perfect for someone who isn't always tethered to their phone.
@@FactNightthis argument is hilarious as it’s just another phone but smaller so instead of being tethered to one thing now it’s two.
The goal is to have multiple tasks perform at once, without necessarily needing to go through different apps. And hopefully the learn feature will do well.
I will use it to do planning and booking for short 3 days trip.

Mostly it’ll eventually let you stop spending as much screen time on your phone. The software isn’t fully complete yet at the moment, but that’s the idea. Eventually you’ll just tell rabbit what you want and it’ll do all the stuff that takes up a ton of screen time right now
This is the biggest issue of the device, cause people don't understand what they are missing on, since "missing out" is their normal daily chore. For example you are in town, late, you are in a neighborhood you don't know and you want a good salad. At this moment, you have to pull up your phone and google local restaurants, then you have to check the reviews, then you have to look up their menu. That is so much hassle that you won't do it. You will either go to Mc Donalds for a fast meal or skip the salad altogether. Or you are traveling, staying at place. "Hey, can you find me interesting architecture around this place that I can see?" "This house from 1928" "What's interesting about it?" - Without this, you would't even know you missed it out. You wouldn't ever google it, cause its too much hassle to read through. See the problem? You have a discussion with friend. And it stucks on laws of thermodynamics. Googling it and reading wikipedia will take you 100 years. Rabbit can explain it in 1 minute. And now you are not arguing about thermodynamics and the conversation can flow deeper in the topic... Or you have a bus stop infront of your house, the bus leaves every hour and 23 minutes. You simply ask how much time you have till the next bus goes. Looking it up for example in Rome can be real hassle. With rabbit - seconds.

7:56 imagine if an AI assistant can see in 360 degrees around you. so when you ask it a question about your environment, you don’t have to point the camera at a thing to find an answer. it just looks around and finds it or if there’s no visual cue’s it just googles the answer. i want THAT tech. i want a AI tech thingy that has a 360 degree camera. but that would probably be something you mount on your head or something which would probably be weird tbh. lol

Rabbit R1 have that tech. The camera have 180°pivot so it can see 360° around. Not sure if you can use it like that but there is definitely a possibility. In worst case scenario you would have to do it on 2 question, ask on front, then whats on your back.
This is why Apple is experimenting with adding cameras to AirPods.
Does it connect to your phone plan or Bluetooth has it got sim card in with data plan
This could be a great learning device for kids, and even adults.
My father is losing his vision (almost blind now) and I've ordered this for him, excited to see how it will change his life reading things for him and telling him what he's looking at, that's huge for accessibility like you mentioned. Thank you for showing some cool examples!

It will because it uses Perplexity which, if you don't know it, it mixes LLMs with real time search on the internet, so you always get up to date information. Perplexity is open and you can already use it with some limitations if you want to understand how it works , so you can use it but with some limitations

I love the 'can I park here'? application while using it to 'look' at the sign. If my phone could do that..? 😙👌 It's definitely moving in that direction, I get more 'info cards' on photos in my iPhone than ever. It even identified my brother's cat's breed lol

I tell you this product would be a godsend to the blind community it’s affordable there’s so many products out there that use AI to describe things that cost so much money that the average Joe can’t even put their hand on or even let alone rent. There is a company out there that actually has a software and items very similar to this, but it’s built into or your prescription glasses and it’s designed to help those with visually impair around and move around and it cost $3500 just for the AI not including the prescription glasses that’s needed which cost another additional 350 bucks so this here would be a significant add-on to the blind community

It looks good for children and grandparents. It makes the AI assistant much more accessible than smartphones/web interfaces.
id be interested to see a comparison of the flower identification compared to the iphones "visual lookup" feature for flowers.
thats one thing ive noticed no one has done yet compare this to visual lookup or google lens and compare how accurate and detailed the answers are! im sure once google lens and apples version becomes hot keyed into the side key with a phrase like "what is this?" then it'll get compared more but right now even google lens/gemini is somewhat hidden and not integrated in the normal flow many people don't find it convenient yet!

Hoping smartphones can participate in LAM tokenized systems is like hoping one day laptops can do everything video game consoles can do, the problem with trying to copy what a dedicated hardware does, is that your version of said product will be lesser than whatever hardware is designed around the new architecture. Sure, smartphones can one day mimic this, but they will never be able to copy the patented methods the R1 uses to carry out the stacked commands or their learning mode.
How is this more different from a smart phone especially compared to the new Samsung phone with galaxy ai?
