Loved it Jason! Having made snowflakes before I was able to anticipate the instructions before you actually demonstrated them.. haha This is a nice quick pattern and looks so pretty! Your tutorial was precise and very clear.. Thank you! I need to make some new ones!!
This is a fun Snowflake. I sometimes make similar, and fit them into a ring - usually a glass Indian style bracelet. It makes a nice tree decoration, with a sparkly border. I'm most impressed by the way you hold the hook, as the last of your videos I watched, you said you were left handed. So am I, but the hook won't work in my right hand!
Hi. You had a video of a folded fabric Christmas star. Are you the original designer of that star? If not do you know who is. I am wanting to make and sell on etsy. Thanks. Geraldine
I'm not sure which you're referring to but I have two videos, one being a patchwork star ornament and the other a folded fabric ornament that are both on my main channel (croutoncrackerjacks). Neither one are my original idea but there are links to where I got the ideas from in the description boxes of the videos (click on 'show more' under the videos to open the boxes). However, neither person I credited are the originators of the patterns, I simply linked to them since they had written instructions. I created my own pattern for the patchwork star but the idea goes back decades as I've seen them since my video in antique stores made in velvets with hand embroidery on them from who knows when and the folded ornaments were shown on a few other blogs before the person I credited posted her tutorial on them (and she doesn't give credit but I linked to her because she had written instructions as opposed to just a picture). Sorry I can't be of more help.
No, no, no, no, no. The cat did not decide to make its bed out of your yarn-stash. You decided to unravel poor kitty's dream-den to have your weird ways with all those strands. XD
Sandy Keys Search Picot, you chain up from a stitch (or in this case a chain) and slip back into the same stitch creating a tiny, baby, loop, called a picot.
netcutie2003 I want to share with you that I found it easier to follow if I went to the settings and changed the playback speed to a slower rate. I turn the sound down so they are not drawling the words out' and just watch the technique. HOpe this helps you.

Too fast for me. Had to ripping out pausing and going back.
