  • Buddha's Teaching: What is Ultimate Truth - 05 Characteristics of The Dharma.
    #dharma #buddhism #truth
We know that more than 400 years after the Buddha's Parinirvana, the Buddhist scriptures were finally recorded in writing. Before that, they existed only in oral form, passed down from one generation to the next by reciters - those who memorized the entire scriptures and were responsible for reciting them to the community. In addition to these reciters, there were also commentators, who specialized in memorizing and teaching about the Buddhist law. This transmission process relied entirely on their memory. By the 1st century BCE, the scriptures were finally written down, and in the long process of oral transmission that lasted for hundreds of years, it was inevitable that errors were recorded due to misunderstandings, misinterpretations, and incorrect practices by many generations of Buddhists.
Even during the time of the Buddha's presence in this world, there were those who did not correctly understand his teachings and misinterpreted his message. The Buddha had to call these individuals to him and inquire how they had understood his words to speak of them in such a way. Misunderstandings occurred not only outside the Buddhist community but also within the Buddha's own order. Buddhism is the path of the ultimate truth, distinct from the doctrines and teachings of other faiths and religions around the world. The teachings of Buddhism do not change over time, are not altered by political, historical factors, and notably, the dharma that the Buddha preached is always noble and elevating. Based on these five characteristics, learners and practitioners can compare and contrast what they have been taught and guided to recognize what is the ultimate truth, what is relative, and what may be incorrect to avoid being misled.
Being the ultimate truth, belonging to the reality, the dharma that the Buddha realized and preached always ensures the following five characteristics:
Immediately practical: Here and now, not deferred to the future for its value.
To be realized by oneself: Through personal practice and realization, not merely believing what others say without clear understanding.
Unchanging over time: Always the truth, not dependent on the past, present, or future; meaning it is always correct, without need for correction, adjustment, or updating.
Noble and elevating: Aiding humanity in permanently liberating itself from suffering in a noble and uplifting manner, not just temporarily ending one form of suffering to encounter another.
For the wise to realize by themselves: Once spoken, realization or not is up to each individual, and only they can receive it; no one can do it for them or give it to them.
In summary, Buddhism guides its followers on the importance of maintaining the ideal of truth and the skillfulness in recognizing and practicing the authentic teachings of the Buddha, leading to a life of peace and happiness.

I enjoy watching your videos. I was born in a country with 97% of the population called themselves Buddhist. It turned out that they are more into Hinduism. Asking praying and or relaying on divines’ blessings. After I studied Buddhist Scriptures I stopped asking or praying. I keep myself busy observing and noticing my daily actions.

The last sentence spoken in the video is key. Only that is the key. You must have it practiced in life. It's very easy to study talk or debate but have it fulfilled first in onself is the true confidence and experience of divinity or god within oneself. When truthful and righteous life lived out, it has no karma otherwise karma of mahamaya pythons around life repeated the same event or similar events every year or in any field we pursue on. The noblest tenets are truth and righteousness, not unconditional love. Truth and righteousness together don't compromise with falsities or evils but unconditional love can compromise as its blind. This is why truthfulness is the majesty and mightiest power against falsities and evils as it can only destroy the opposite. It's the antidote too. Truth didn't falsify nor evilify actions so when truth arises, evils and falsities would automatically destroyed and wiped out. It's must to have those in life so the heart is aligned with honesty integrity transparency and truthfulness and ultimately innocence. God comes there only to such hearts, not to a copy cat Vedic maniac preacher or bible robot. The heart must be pure by this way not by what you eat or your lifestyle or beliefs. Has nothing to do with celibacy or brahmacharya the forced way to enter zen.
Such hearts can enter deep meditation and see god or bliss or oneness or no self the nirakar or formless tao. The no self anatta is the first native form and then fallen to oneness and then mind. We devolved from no self at birth in the same way. So the key is truth and the energy of truth to return to that innocence. You can never cheat the gates of shamabala and zen. No matter who you are in the three d human world. You may be forbidden entry. The entry is To the access consciousness, cosmic leelas, altered states, mushin state, Zen, higher dimensions, spiritual gifts or even sunyata the wu wei or void. It doesn't matter who you originally is or are the entry is not available to everyone due to their heart.
The Vajra Vs or +lotus heart ❤

The Nirvana Sutra 31 says :
Precepts are steps and ladders to all virtuous dharmas.
We need stairs to go upstairs.
    What is Precepts?
It is the stairs for all virtuous dharmas. .
All virtuous dharmas are up there and you need stairs to go up.
Another word, if we want to alleviate the state our mind, Precepts is only one that we rely on.
Without precepts, what methods can you use to alleviate the state of your mind?
The Avatamsaka Sutra tell us, there are 52 stages for Bodhisattvas.
    Ten Stages of Faith
    Ten Stages of Abodes
    Ten Practices
    Ten Dedications of Meeit
    Ten Grounds.
Above these 50, there are perfect enlightenment and marvellous enlightenment, total 52 stages.
All the 52 stages have to depend on Precepts to progress.
    What are Precepts?
Five Precepts : Killing, Stealing, Lying, Adultery and Intoxication.
Precepts are rules of life set by Shakyamuni Buddha.
    Precepts is very important.
Mundane laws are different with transmundane laws.
    Precepts is not mundane laws.
The etiquette of the mundane law have to be revised with times and with people's living habits.
Just like the country's constitution needs to be revised every decade. If it is not revised, it will not be applicable because society changed.
The Buddha's transmundane laws is to transcend the Six Realms and reincarnations.
    These laws cannot be changed.
If change, you won't be able to exit the Six Realms and beyond.

There are two entrance doors to Buddhism.
Buddhism for academic study, the door of interpretation and analysis.
    This is called Study Buddhism.
The other entrance door is learning Buddhism, practice for attainment.
Some regards Buddhism as education of philosophy.
Learning Buddhism and Study Buddism are two different perspectives.
Study Buddhism, one regards studying Buddhist scriptures as academic research. Many encounter Buddhism through this door.
Learning Buddhism is different. Learning Buddhism one must start from the Precepts.
Precepts are laws of the sages.
If one wants to be a sage or a virtuous person, you must observe the Five Precepts.
Precepts is not an ordinary laws, it cannot be changed.
Through Precepts one attains Meditative Concentration and through Meditative Concentration one attains Wisdom. With wisdom one attains enlightenment.
If you don't follow this method to practice then it's not Buddha Dharma, it is worldly dharma.

Buddha’s teaching. It is the Ultimate Truth. Yes. The Man suspected his Soul, Karma, Sin and so many things accumulate inside him. Because he has heard about those things. He is taught by many religions. Buddha discovered what is happening in you. You find accumulation of thoughts(memories) and intelligence is called “mind” in you. At the moment of birth nothing in you. No memory or Mind. At the death all vanishes away. There is no karma, no soul or sin, all these are thoughts (memories) in you, those could be erased at any moment or disappears at the moment of death. This is the ultimate truth. Buddha studied nearly 62 religions and left them away. He found the truth analyzing inside of him. He gave correct definition to the “mind”. It is valid for all mankind.

Shakyamuni Buddha gave classes for 49 years, not a single day rest and no holiday.
What is the purpose of his lectures?
Shakyamuni Buddha's lectures are merely persuasions.
After many lessons only then one can be awakened, only then one can understand the truth about life and our universe.
Shakyamuni Buddha's 49 years of teachings can be summarised into just few words : avoid all evil, cultivate goodness, and purify one's mind, so that one will leaves sufferings forever and attain happiness.
This is the Teachings of Buddhas.
Associate with evil will drags you to lower three Paths :
Animals Realms, Ghosts Realm and Hell.
Practice goodness will lead you to the upper Three Paths : Human, Demi Gods(Asura), Heaven.
Purify One's Mind, one attains Enlightenment, exits the Six Realms of Reincarnation forever.

Please remake this video by editing it with a native English speaker and having a native English speaker with a soothing speaking voice instead of AI narrate it. It fosters misunderstandings, and AI just is not fully ready yet. I am willing to help. Thank you!
