    Buddha's Teachings spreads to many parts of the world already more than three thousand years.
    What is left behind in India today is historical sites of Buddha's legacy.
    Buddhism in India today has become a study and research by scholars.
    1800 years after Bodhi Dharma from India spread Zen Buddhism to China, and five hundred years later many great teachers were borne in China.
    Stories and records of manifestation of Bodhisattvas like Manjushri Bodhisattva, Samanthabrada Bodhisattva, Maitreya Bodhisattva, Aloveskitavara Bodhisattva, Earth Store Bodhisattva, Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva and stories like beggar monk JiGong and laughing Buddha are popular stories in China.
    There are also records of manifestation of Shakyamuni Buddha and Amitabha Buddha.
    Mahayana Buddhism in China is flourishing. Many old temples were restored by the governments.
    There are Four Sacred Mountains home for the Great Bodhisattvas.
    Mount Wutai of Shanxi Province the home Manjushri Bodhisattva,
    Mount Emei of Sichuan Province the home of Samanthabrada Bodhisattva.
    Mount Putuo of Zhejiang Province, the home of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva.
    Mount Jiuhua of Anhui Province, the home of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.
    The recent restoration temple in Mt. Tien Mu in Hangzhou Province, the home of Skanda Bodhisattva.
    Want to learn Buddhism today one has to go to China.

    Buddha did not teach emptiness as it is misunderstood here. Buddha clearly said “form is emptiness, emptiness is form. form is nothing other than emptiness, emptiness is nothing other than form.” And this is true for all appearances and concepts. The Buddha taught appearance emptiness, bliss emptiness, and awareness emptiness. The Buddha taught that although everything appears it is empty of true existence. The appearance denies nihilism and the emptiness denies creation or existence. The great middle way is the way where there is no middle between the nonexistent extremes of nothingness and permanence.

      Buddha says “form is emptiness, emptiness is form. form is nothing other than emptiness, emptiness is nothing other than form.”
      As far as my understanding, " 5 aggregate are emptiness, emptiness is five aggregate." " 12 Ayatana are emptiness: 18 Dhatu are emptiness." Inconclusion,
      Nibbana is emptiness( Sunnata).
      According to Kudaka Nikaya,Udana Pali, "there is, bhikkhus, that Nibbana where there is no earth element, no water element, no fire element, no air element:
      no base consisting of the infinity of space, no base consisting of the infinity of consciousness, no base consisting of nothingness, no base consisting of neither-perception-nor-non-perception;
      neither this world nor another world nor both; neither sun nor moon.
      Here, bhikkhus, I say there is no coming, no going, no staying, no deceasing, no uprising. Not fixed, not movable, it has no support.
      Just this is the end of suffering."

      it's nothing new ,even other indian philosophical school scholars always misunderstand concepts of shunyavad. It's difficult to grasp,let alone understand it, but they proudly claim buddha dharma is a nihilistic tradition 😂

    Don't say god, particularly the biblical god ! Don't confuse Buddha Dharma with the monotheistic religion. In Buddha Dharma, there is no creator, no god. Every sentient being has the potential to become a Buddha, the enlightened being. Christianity or catholicism, talk about human have original sin , have to believe in the myth that jesus died for human's sin, otherwise burned in hell for eternity. Even if you buy the myth, you go to heaven to worship god, not become a god

    Nobody parts with their persona on a day to day basis, simply because they are by themselves. That would mean one cannot be alone with their self. My personality was cultivated by the way I was raised and my environment. It's a part of me. A part of my "headspace". It's nonsense to believe without another, one can't be themself. When we meditate we do not give up the things which make our experience unique, nor do we give up our personality traits. They lie within dormant. Ready to be utilized whenever we call upon them, subconsciously most of the time. We become empty, as it were, by ceasing to experience. There is no need to diminish the persona chasing enlightenment. Become enlightened as the person you are.

    The old quantum physics theory….The wave/stuff theory….That the wave is infinite potential and possibilities out of which stuff (that cell phone in your hand ect) comes out of and (temporarily) loses its infinite potential…Stuff is wave taking a break in a form but eventually goes back…But wave and stuff are always the same… hence The Buddhist saying form is emptiness…emptiness is form…Or FARM IS TABLE…TABLE IS FARM🐻‍❄️

    I grew up with Buddhist monks. In my reality Buddhism is a PATH (not a philosophy or a religion) that leads to Emptiness....... that is your original state. Zen call that state your 'original face'. In a presence of an enlightened master that can happen instantly, provided that you are READY. Look in to the 'Flower Sermon' 💜♪♫*¨*•.¸¸ ॐ

      all paths lead to it brother, even the ones that seem pointless or stupid, if you embrace it enough and have the eye to see. I have found that Zen is the most direct path, it has allowed me to see the truth in all others. That doesn't make it the best, it just helped me to open the eye that sees.

    Though I appreciate these videos trying to convey something of Buddhism as a philosophy and practice, unfortunately there’s too much attempt at trying to say, or convincing, more than is needed, which can have the opposite affect of understanding. For this reason, it is best not to deviate too far from the Buddha’s teachings, or intent, which is liberation from suffering. Suffering, in turn, is due to ignorance and grasping, above all else, to the self. At the moment of his awakening, the Buddha declared his central finding - dependent origination or arising or co-arising. This central insight led the Buddha to the realization that all things are EMPTY OF ESSENCE, or ANATTA. Again, it is best to return to the source of the teachings; don’t rely too much on over-dramatization, doing so may lead to new-age nonsense.

  • @ardenthollings8734

    Emptiness describes things that are dependently originated, they have no real nature. They are illusions (māyā). They have no self-existence. What is real is not dependently originated. The real is self-existent (svayambhu)-never dependent.

    The Nibbana is hard to see,
    The truth is not easy to see;
    Craving is penetrated by one who knows,
    For one who sees there is Sunnata. (Buddha)
    Buddha says,
    "There is no destination to indicate where a fire has completely extinguished. Similarly, there are no words to describe the state when an Arhat, having seen the ultimate truth, passes away." KN

    Emphasizing on emptiness as some truth was a big mistake done centuries after the passing away of Lord Buddha. It has just become a point of debate and misunderstanding - a concept which people spend time trying to figure out. It's not the path, only a description for the undescribable, and only sensible for those who have completed the path. All the debates are for people who are not even close to the path.

    • @Pqihtyieojn12
      @Pqihtyieojn12 27 днів тому

      No. Emptiness simply means empty of intrinsic nature. Everything is based on dependent origination. Thus there is no such thing called individuality, just a mass of chnage. At the surface level it's next to invincible to beat this but our adi shankaracharya from 🕉 dharma showed a way put. Furthermore I have found a way out of sunyata as nagarjuna's two truth's seems to be hypocrisy at best, truth is always the Absolute. There cannot be two truths, it goes against the very concept of trutha

    Emptiness (Suyatha) may be essence of Buddhism. But Buddha never said about emptiness or nothingness. You can’t empty your mind forever. The moment of your birth to moment of your death the mind is behave its own. No one can interfere or alter any thought. You can’t empty your thoughts from your mind (i.e. the Brain) in any means. Emptiness and Samadhi is a concept of Hinduism. Never can achieve, never happen.

      Sunyata is indeed mentioned in suttas , but by trying to make it logical it has indeed led to much misunderstanding. It has become a thing for intellectuals to argue and analyze , and a point for vedics/vedantics to point at and say "here, we have something better".
