Heyo! If you already watched the original part 1, part 2 begins at: 44:54
The UA-cam algorithm gods have been unkind as of late. In an ever-evolving effort to get things figured out, I'm going to publish *single* videos for games I cover, even if they're 2+ hours long. Next up is Horizon: Forbidden West. The entire thing will be 1 video.
Cream Daddy have mercy on us all.
Good luck, ma'am!!!
I love long lore videos. Keeps it all in one place, and easy to follow.
No wonder I see double. No matter how long the video, you bet I'm watching it.
Oof. I do enjoy the long lore videos, but it is definitely annoying to have to change to fit the algorithm. Best of luck to you.
Honestly your way of weaving a tale is something I’d spend a extra 45 minutes on with pleasure
May this sacrificial engagement appease the almighty algorithm, god of content!
Praise be to Algo Rithm!
Long-form lore videos here we come
I've been noticing that UA-cam has been really pushing either Shorts, or long form content. I'm fairly confident it's starting to prefer long term content because of total watch minutes
This game has some of the most striking and beautiful imagery I’ve ever seen in a game!
I’ve seen this game reviewed so many times within the last 2 weeks or so… this was the first time i feel that the story was actually told and explained in a way that it could be appreciated 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. The Lady of lore delivers another masterpiece 👌🏼
I thought the video started familiarly. xD lol
But really, this game is amazing. And the message it is trying to send. And not just the message of the mental health part, but also of other messages of love and the choices we make, responsibility and such
I honestly do not know how they will be able to even top this. And what story Senua could ever hope to tell next, because this one felt pretty final to me. Because she has basically gone through her entire character arc through these 2 games, especially in this one.
She had beaten the shadow within, accepted her own darkness, does not run from it, she embraces it yet does not let it control her.
It's kind off like she has reached out to people around her for support with her mental health, they accepted her request and give her the support. And in doing so she has helped others with their mental health problems. Learning more & more about her own in the process and faced them and accepts having them, but let the light (and medication) in.
Lore update and it feels sooner than expected. Yay.
I love your storytelling. It's so engaging
After I played, I truly believed that Idunn thought the Hiddenfolk had taken her baby. I think the giants are like senua, not so much in the "they are monsters" but that maybe they also heard things. Maybe Idunn truly thought her baby was safe with the fey. She might have heard them say so. But she still needed to survive so she gave herself to the mountain and when she was taken, it gave her the truth. That she had abandoned her baby in a cave with false hope and promises. Idunns boss fight really got to me and made me cry for the first time in the entire game. The way she screams her babys name made me actually shudder. I feel like she's hinted at in the decimated village when you look at the basinet long enough...
As a mega-nerd with a sleep disorder, I often use this channel as ASMR to sleep while learning cool facts about the lore of my favorite games. You have a great voice. I have severe, clinical insomnia. Thanks to Lady of Lore, I sleep much better and know my games much deeper. Thank you, my Lady.
lol you too?!?! It's either this or @GVMERS that I fall asleep to. The narrator there also has a great voice
@@pressxtojason Hahaha, I guess it isn't so weird after all. And I also fall asleep to them. It's just so soothing.
wow that last part was awe inspiring, even though we carry a part of each of our parents, we are not them, we are our own person and must make our own journey through life
Great video as always!
Amazing vid als always, thank you Lady!
Another incredible video!! 🙏🏼
I am in awe right now, thank you!
Thank you for your generosity!!
Thanks for covering this game!
Thanks as always. I definitely didn't enjoyed this one as much as the first Senua game, but I absolutely loved listen to your tell. ❤
Nice, stellar work as always, thanks for this :)
I want more of Senua, I want to see her get a happy ending, or just something good happening to her. She's been through so much, and she is her own worst enemy at times. She needs another Dillion or Galena. And peace. She needs peace T-T
Thank you for the lore
Another sacrifice, for the Almighty Algo...
You are awesome!
Great protagonist, thanks for the vid!
i commented you should make a part 2 and you did thank you
Your Videos are so damn good❤
Love these videos! Please do a lore series on Vampire Masquerade: Bloodlines or Castlevania 64
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏great ending lore lady
I too make a sacrifice to to the algorithm
Great video. And another sacrifice to the algorithm god
Long form lore will be nice!
Thank you, i couldnt watch the game cuz it's full of ASMR which bothers my ears. I'm enjoying watching this, great work.
Would l8ke for you to do Onimusha. Enjoyed the 1st 3 on ps2, but its been so long. I would love to hear your retelling of its lore.
Hi,.....I'm DAVID.
Ive ALWAYS been DAVID ❤
I have AUTISM too.
But I carry HOPE😊
Somewhere...."OUT THERE",....
IS OUR REASON FOR BEING❤😊❤
Relax, take a breath......
AND THEN DIVE IN TO FIND IT😊
*THIS*
Is "WHY" *YOU* are "Here"❤❤❤
My advice?
Be YOU right away.
It'll HURT at first, but YOU
will have built a FOUNDATION❤❤❤
YOU will have an ANCHOR😊
Belive in YOURSELF first, and then work.Your way OUTWARD❤
*THIS* then, is the
"WAY OF THINGS"😊
Can you make a 1920-1080p or whatever version of this video like what you did with the original part 1?
Good call. We'll see if we can get one up a bit later for those that want to watch that format.
Yes! I'll render it out and to have it posted in the description by this afternoon. Thanks for that reminder.
The 16:9 version is up: ua-cam.com/video/2b2ADb_2Uzc/v-deo.html
Thank you!
@@TiptoeTheTank you’re welcome.
May the Algorithm be pleased!
Illtaunga was the best part of this game lol
Watched from start to finish and offered a skyward thumb to seek the favor of almighty algor, king of the ithms. I hope it helps, and I hope you'll indulge a question. At multiple points in the game, other characters interact with the giants by throwing their spears at them. How are these characters seeing what Senua sees? The best I can come up with is that it's symbolism for the collective delusion of the giants; that the people of this land are so consumed their fear that they all see things that aren't there. But that explanation feels unsatisfactory. Do you have any thoughts on this subject?
Engagement comment
y is this so wide?
The game itself is built and locked to ultrawide displays. Playing at 16:9 has letterboxing (black bars on top and bottom). There is a 16:9 version of this lore vid that was just uploaded if you prefer that:

I hate what they did to Thorgestr, I was really hopeing that he would take the place of Dillian for her. It looked like it would go that direction but, NOOOO! They had to ruine the perfect union.
I don't believe anyone will ever take Dillion's place, or that they even could. I'm glad they didn't try to force that, because it would've felt unearned imo.
Please take this comment as a sacrifice to the algorithm god!
Stupid people, who doesn't have anything on their lives, other than to fight over their favorite piece of plastic, from their beloved billion dollars companies, are trying to sabotage the artful piece of creativity... sad
Not everything is about childish console war nonsense. I enjoyed my time with Hellblade 2; stunning graphics, top-tier performances, moments both tense and moving. Ninja Theory's uncompromising commitment to the story they were telling and the way they wished to tell it is admirable. But I certainly understand why it's been so divisive, because as a video game it is quite lacking, even in comparison to its predecessor. It feels like they wanted to make a film, and begrudgingly added gameplay elements. The giants---the "boss encounters"---are underwhelming, more or less identical but swapping lava for water. Pointing out these flaws isn't "sabotaging the artful piece of creativity", and glossing over them isn't "protecting" it.
Ninja Theory didn't compromise on their vision to chase broader market appeal and I respect that, but it ultimately led to a piece of media that is very niche and polarizing, which is reflected in the review scores and discourse.
