This message is for the ones struggling to pass. Me that have pass all my written’s and part of my O&P Certificate. 1. You really gotta study 2. Everything on prep-ware needs to be studied Phase 3. For 0&PJeppesen is still the best book to study more. plus quiz let and ASA 4. Study everything in O&P book, and focus more on test codes that refers chapter in the book 5. For the practicals, Learn your AD’s, rules and regulations, ATA codes, Aircraft Maintenance/service manual. And some few practical videos on UA-cam. Anyways i hope that help anyone who’s on the journey on Obtaining their Certificate
Yes to everything you said. For the written exams the prep-ware app is what I've had success with. Passed both general and airframe written with a score of 92 on both just by studying the app. When I took my orals a few days ago almost every question I got was word for word from the Jeppesen books.
Correction. I know i corrected you on this on a previous video but it seems we were both half right/wrong. It seems if you take airframe or powerplant at 18 months you have to have another 18 months of experience to take the other. But you can take both at the same time if you wait till you have 30 months. Doesnt really make sense, but thats what im reading.
Based off the conversations I've had with my local FSDO they would still give credit with 12 months if you already had the A and just need the P. Which is also the annoying part about using the practical experience route depending on which Airworthiness Inspector you are talking to you will get a different answer or set of requirements. We even had a student here who got his A after retiring but the FAA would not let him test for the P because he had no recip experience as he only worked on fighters. Meanwhile one of our instructors was a C5 avionics tech and was signed off for booth.....
Private Pilot license age is 16 to solo and 17 for full license. Great video..I didn’t know about the building an experimental aircraft counting toward experience…👍

Can you do a video on how long it takes to get promoted as an aircraft mechanic? And what kind of positions you can get as an aircraft mechanic when promoted, (i cant seem to find to much info online)
I'm 12 months into an apprenticeship. My employer told me that almost every new hire who came from the A&P school here has quit within a few months. The working environment is chill, but it's a small business so maybe they had some misconception about the pay or something else.
Can anyone suggest any good school for A&P specific to helicopters and offer financial aid programmes or internships for international students..? Suggest in texas plz
Powerplant written 68 and 68 my last test to get my lisence ,I’m scared to go test again because it’s all these new questions ,wish I could answer idea where they coming from
@acefighterpilot I'd say it's even better because the FAA has added much more relevant information and cut down on things like welding and wood and fabrics
@@brycebuildsitAs long as they didn't cut the question about checking R-12 refrigerant levels with an open flame...Every new A&P should expect to have to service an R-12 system with only their Bic for illumination...
Hi sir I foreign in Japan and going to get A&P license I passed three written test last month . I will oral practice test at December. So How can study Oral test? Is it based on written test mistakes questions ?
Would working on helicopter main transmission at an RMS overhaul and repair station count as practical experience to getting a license or at least a P and are transmission considered part of the powerplant?
Can you advise please. Steps to follow when you have foreign license and experience, working aviation in US soil to have the right to sit the faa test, please. There is a gap and no one seems to tell the right way. Please
despite a foreign license you would still have to take a 147 program to be eligible to test for the A&P. Unless your licenses is from Canada because of our bi-lateral agreement.
DME's can not really do that there is one DME that makes videos on the different tasks you'll get and how to complete them but I don't know his channel

Can I ask what do you mean by phase 3?
you should make a video of the scale pay as an A&P freshly out of school or with some experience involving
GA,Airlines,corporate

It can be that way sometimes. The airlines are really the only place where 6 figures within the first couple years out of school is possible.

What are your thoughts on PTS vs. ACS?
I like the ACS much more. Not being chained to hours requires ment make it worth it. There are a lot of tasks, though.

What if I wanted to work on helicopters
It's honestly still the same there is no special cert by the FAA for a helicopter mechanic

lol thank you.
