Very good info!
Thanks 🙏🏼
You must be under 45 with a degree and 4,000 hours or forget it, it's extremely competitive no matter what they say, and it's hard as hell to get jobs.
Not necessarily, I only had 1500 our in a C172 and I know plenty of people that got hired with less than 1000. This is providing the operator flys light or mid size jets
I am starting in a few weeks at a FAR part 135 that operates a fleet of mid-sized jets. I have 1,400 hours, no degree, and no type ratings. Another person I start with is in their mid-40s with 700 fixed wing and a bit over 1000 rotor. A 3rd person is also starting who has about the same hours as me.
The market is not nearly as saturated as people say, but I will concede it is not 2014-2019 anymore.
