I wish he was still making music and NOT in a toxic relationship, but sometimes people end their own suffering. And without God or a higher purpose I believe it is easier to justify suicide, I type from personal experience.
His voice works very well with the instruments. He sounds and looks like an angry angel.
I've never seen another band make just a few simple powerchords sound so absolutely fucking amazing.

I always loved how beautiful he was but he just didn't make a big deal about it. The music and it's message is more important that the looks... Can't help but think about that aspect of him a lot lately

I wonder if he knew at this point he would be dead in 4 months

when i am studying,
when i am sleeping,

The king of 90s music. Kurt Cobain
Yes I agree Kurt Cobain the king of 90s music 💙 awesome singer

Would have been neat
I love him so much! Great entertainer. He is so beautiful and talented. Miss him so much😢
I remember staying up late at night to tape this in my home's VHS.. I was 15. Now I'm 45. Still rocks the sh t outta me.
do u still have the VHS tape?
Yea man. I was also 15 when this was on and I also had the VHS staying up all night to record it. I’m sure it had the breeders opening up for them. I watched that VHS so many times. I loved this band so much when I was that age. This brings back so many memories.
Was 14 and taped it as well. My mom threw all of my nirvana memorabilia when she moved house
I'm 50 still rocks shit out of me too ;)
I was too young to go when they came to my hometown 12/2/93 (Tallahassee, FL). I still have the newspaper announcing his death. I've never grown out of Nirvana. 41 now and it still gives me the same feelings. Hail Cobain!!!
I know there's Reading '92 and other iconic gigs, but *this* is the best Nirvana show, in my opinion. The energy is there, Kurt is on top form with his voice, the sound is phenomenal, and the setting is fantastic.
Yeah at this point in his career, he was becoming such a great performer. His voice was the best it had ever been in live shows and its a major improvement from their live shows in the early days. The music is much tighter and the sound is rounded out with Pat Smear's second guitar addition.
The best version of unit shifter ever played
Nah, Live at Milan 1994 25 is way better
@@fernandosaucedo4182 so how come they didn't make an actual live album for that show then?
The energy of the band and specially Kurt, back in 1991, with best film/picture quality (Originally shot on 16mm stock film, transferred to HD and released on Blu-ray), to me is Live at Paramount..

I fucking love Kurt’s jacket 🔥👌
I saw them two months later, on February of 1994 the 18th, Le Summum, Grenoble, in France.
It was the very show I ever went to, a gift from my father (who was there too) for my 14th birthday (born in 1980, the 24th of February).
I would have never believed that it was their very last show in France, and after a few other gigs, we all know what happened less than two months later (4 months if counting from the gig above in the video)... I hate the month of April since then, the worst in the year.
And since 2021, it's even more true considering I lost my Dad, on April of that year, April, again...
Two of my most beloved human beings passed away in April, Kurt in 1994, and my Dad in 2021.
(Funfact: My Dad's birthday was on February the 20th, just like Kurt)
I miss you so much Dad since you left us back in April 2021, every day since then has a taste like Hell on Earth.
Thank you for having made my teenage dream of seeing my favorite band ever live becoming true.
Nirvana + You that day = the most beautiful day in my life. It was the best birthday gift I ever had and it will be really hard to do better.
I don't think it's possible. I miss all of you, Nirvana, Kurt and Dad, you are in my heart forever.
I'll remember you until it's my turn to leave this world.
Thank you for such a legacy. I miss you so much that it hurts.
And fuck you month of April.
I know the feeling.
Had an entire house burn down with me in it 01 April 1997. I barely made it out alive...lost everything except the matching top & bottom sweats I had on when I went to bed the night before.....
Fuck you, April.
I was wainting Nirvana in Berlin in may1994 , but sadly ,..Bless up.Belgrade,
How cool for you! I loved that France concert coverage the best! My favorite! ❤
Hey man.. I was born on 4/20 you take that back right now! You LOVE APRIL.. say it with me.. “I… love.. April” now, see there, that wasn’t very hard was it lil guy? ❤🙃
sorry to read that. god bless you and this heartfelt comment. and yeh april sucks, christian death's rozz williams committed suicide on the 1st in 1998. i hate this month as well. fuck spring also.

Kurt was a very good looking guy. ❤️
I can‘t imagine the feeling, vibe and atmosphere in that place. It is now a myth almost 30 years later.
It'd be like being at a show with the house lights on. They have to light them for tv.
The atmosphere was a different story when Kurt was alive.
Then you need a time machine! He's still alive...in Spirit....my Dad gave me many dreams of Heaven and he flew in colors and I wrote a song right after he died....one was ' Daddy, is there really a place called Heaven? What would be fascinating is how much Kurt's done in that Heavenly dimension for nearly 30 years our time!!! We're stuck in 3D so though some are lucky to see through that....most of us are convinced that Earth's reality is all there is.... don't forget that God gave us Kurt and Kurt took care of the rest of it against all obstacles,..bet God is very proud of him!
I miss him, and Always will what talent I miss those BEAUTIFUL blue eyes. so sorry Kurt I wish you were here😢❤
Kurt Cobain FOREVER ❤😊
on the week of the 30 years i brought my frist nirvana t shirt r.i.p kurt we miss you and always will love to listen to the great songs! 👍
His style of showman is so desirable to watch. I love his no talking to crowd thing, its like a piece of uninterupted art, its him believing his shit is important and is mesmerising but seemingly not trying. If he were alive, his haters would snap up tix and be glued to him in the front row but theyll never admit it. They think his stuff is so simple, why cant they copy this without looking lame?! so many Nirvana haters out there. Kurt is simply the best! rockn out.
Kurt is more than Beautiful he is magical 🧍🎸🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️🙏😎😎💯♥️
If this was all done live and still is untouched then in my opinion this has to be the most tight and greatest sounding nirvana performance I've heard and also the most relaxed and on fire performance by Kurt !! Ah 1993 I had just finished my last year at high school in 1992, and 1993 was spent skateboarding everyday, learning the guitar and going to see bands the 90s was truly a great decade to be in your youth
Didn't you see it previously, but all band?
Can't believe its been that long ago. The 90s were the best. 1993 I was 22 years old just graduated high school in 91 working at Cracker Barrel and McDonald's.
It was the best! They played so well together that the resulting buzz you get from performing a great show must have lit them up like New York City at Christmas time! Too bad all the peripheral junk surrounding Kurt made it no fun for him any more.
We need to invent a time machine 😜
literally everything you just said, except I was on a bike on vert, sessioning several hrs a day. Best damn days of my life.
Kurt's hair looks so amazing in this video 😍👌
It is exceptionally good. Maybe its my own insecurity saying it must not all be natural. On the other side of his face he has some blemish that the caked in makeup. Drugs suck
Just was clean hahah

I tried and tried to win tickets to this show any way I could. Didn't happen. But I was lucky enough to see them on January 7th 1994 in Seattle. This concert really reminds me and to me represents the concert I saw about a month later.
В детстве казался таким взрослым дядей. А сейчас смотрю- ну какой же молодой парень. Красивый! Талантливый! ❤
feel that energy
What a wonderful man Kurt was, I think he was touched by the gods and the gods took him back very soon
Watching this, for me, is not just Watching an old concert, it is Watching my life back in the early 90s, the friends, the love, the tastes, smells, concerns and hopes of my life back then, the world as I traveled it back then, the ideas the very concepts of right and wrong as I viewed such back then...best times of my life.
And now sitting the basement of my own house, vaping and keeping the volume low so my 3rd wife and assorted aged children upstairs can sleep soundly.
Old, broken, friendless and only getting older.
So Watching this takes me away from now and let's me reminisce on a time so long ago when a university kid played in a band and had friends and experienced love and had a whole life ahead of me....
Yeah.. grandma take me home.
You have reasons to live. ✌️ from this 90's baby

The full mix of this show can be purchased from Nirvana themselves - It was officially released many years ago (and part was broadcast on MTV on NYE 1993). This video is mostly intended for those who have watched that full mix hundreds of times - unique to see just one camera in that case. Cheera.

The real tragedy about the man himself to me is he never had the chance to mature past the angst filled, pissed, rebel into a man who realized how blessed he was to have had the success he achieved. And to also have realized how truly loved he was by his fans and family; including his father. I think the music which would have come from this transformation would have been transcendent, beautiful, and sublime. As it is we are grateful for what we have. I just wish we could have seen him conquer his addiction and learned to love life. May he rest in peace.❤
nicely said
I think the issue is that his job and success he was supposed to appreciate kept him essentially LOCKED into that persona. Theres more to the fame crisis he had though
Fame will turn you into a commodity and nothing more. There are things that aren't worth having everyone knowing who you are and what you sell. Once a pipe dream, the next a disaster that steals your ability to live a normal life. I could totally see how he wanted to be a normal person again with some small amount of fame instead of this debilitating level. For sure though he took for granted what it means to be alive in some ways, no doubt, life can be taken from you vs you taking it. Life can be full of physical torment...
@@cross27 Yeah, what a terrible realization it must be when you achieve what was a dreamed, only to realize it to be a trap which is almost impossible to undo. I always wanted to be rich and famous, most dream of it at some point. what a man. it's kind of crazy that i can go so long without listening to nirvana, without seeing a picture of kurt and know that i still have the same fascination with him and the band that i did when i was 15 but not really FEEL it..until i watch something like this. it's not often i passively listen because i don't make a habit of it now i understand that the media i consume has an effect on my mood, and i'm a moody person anyway. a lot of the stuff i was listening to back then, while i resonated with it/felt validated by it, i didn't realise how heavily it was contributing to keeping me emotionally stagnant. same thing might have happened with kurt, listening to/playing the same angry stuff over and over again.. but anyway different topic different day. as an adult woman i can see his faults clear as day but i can't help but re-fall a little bit in love with him as i watch, weird that that's still the case. approaching 27 gives me a weird feeling because it's his eternal age. smiling though, cos it happened, you know? rip
