I once met Steve Perry in a restaurant in Hanford California. He was eating dinner with his parents. I could not contain my self and my excitement, so I went up to him and asked him for his autograph. He was so gracious and kind, and invited me to sit down next to him while we waited for a pen from a waitress! He introduced me to his parents and then signed my autograph, with a smile. What a real gentleman and kind soul. He did not mind that I was bothering him while he was trying to have a quiet dinner with his family. I felt bad but couldn't help it, I would never get another chance like this again. I will love him forever.

First concert ever was in 1984 Journey’s “Frontiers”. All my friends backed out last minute due to someone’s party same night. I said screw it, I’Il go alone. I arrived a little late to the ticket booth and most everyone was inside the arena already. The man in the ticket booth asked, ok.. son, how many tickets?. I said.. just one. He replied, just one and chuckled. Immediately, he saw I looked bummed out. I replied, yeah.. my friends backed out last minute. He looked at me and said.. “ I got you! “. In a hurry to get in I took my ticket and didn’t give much thought as to his comment. Once inside, I was escorted by staff to row 3 front and center of the stage. I was literally 10 feet from Steve Perry’s microphone stand. I was mesmerized by Steve’s voice & Neal Schon’s guitar play that night. It was truly the greatest concert I’ve ever attended!. To the man in the ticket booth I say, thank you.. thank you.. thank you!!. 🙏

I saw Steve Perry when he first joined Journey in Toronto. They were part of a 4 band festival and the lineup was..get this. From Headline to Opening Act. - Beach Boys, Steve Miller, Pablo Cruise and Journey. I had no clue who Journey was and who this frontman was but the second he started to sing I knew I was witnessing greatness. Thanks for singing one of my favorite songs by my favorite band. Steve Perry, you are the best.
Mr. Perry, my husband purchased a GMC Sierra massive truck. He will only drive it when we go to our home in Florida. Literally, the only cd that we will play in that truck is Journey's Greatest Hits. We live in Georgia. When our butts hit the seats, it's you and your brothers serenading us all the way there, during the time we are there and all the way home. It is our ritual. If someone will be riding with us, we TELL them, we listen to Journey and that's all we listen to period! We will put ANYBODY out on the side of the road if they say ANYTHING about changing the music....we don't play that stuff!!!! I guess what I am trying to sat Mr. Perry is......WE LOVE YOU AND WE LOVE YOUR BROTHERS TOO 😘

I saw Steve Perry when he first joined Journey in Toronto. They were part of a 4 band festival and the lineup was..get this. From Headline to Opening Act. - Beach Boys, Steve Miller, Pablo Cruise and Journey. I had no clue who Journey was and who this frontman was but the second he started to sing I knew I was witnessing greatness. Thanks for singing one of my favorite songs by my favorite band. Steve Perry, you are the best.

Mr. Perry, my husband purchased a GMC Sierra massive truck. He will only drive it when we go to our home in Florida. Literally, the only cd that we will play in that truck is Journey's Greatest Hits. We live in Georgia. When our butts hit the seats, it's you and your brothers serenading us all the way there, during the time we are there and all the way home. It is our ritual. If someone will be riding with us, we TELL them, we listen to Journey and that's all we listen to period! We will put ANYBODY out on the side of the road if they say ANYTHING about changing the music....we don't play that stuff!!!! I guess what I am trying to sat Mr. Perry is......WE LOVE YOU AND WE LOVE YOUR BROTHERS TOO 😘
