      for a game you want as little overhead as possible. this is basically dynamic uving. its much more costly at runtime than a static uv system. so beware your paying for it.

    • @RyanKingArt

      If your using it for a game, you might want to bake the textures to new texture maps, after you set this up. Not sure if this method of texturing with work in other software, like a game engine.

    How would someone bake this resulting texture to the same mesh/a copy of the mesh that was already UV unwrapped?

    • @RyanKingArt
      @RyanKingArt  2 роки тому +2

      Just make sure the mesh has a decent UV layout, and then bake it. When you bake a texture, it will bake to the UV map of the object. Then once the textures are baked, replace the material with a new material that is using the baked textures.

    • @RyanKingArt

  • @Devilredemptor
    @Devilredemptor 2 роки тому

    It looks very nice!! Could it be possible to bake now the produced textureblending down to a simple uv-unwrapped layout? I’m thinking of exporting produced stuff like that into an engine… and there UV would be better to handle, but the result would be perfect if it is able to get „baked“.?!?
