I don’t know how to thank you for this video, because as dramatic as it may sound, it literally changed my life in 3 days!! I successfully sleep trained AND night weaned my 13 month old using your method. First night was rough, a lot of crying. I think my son was just mad for doing something different than usual. He woke up 2x that night and took about 20-30 minutes each time to get him back to sleep. I did the same technique for nap next day, and even though it took him about 50 minutes to sleep, he only cried about 2 minutes of it!!! I was shocked. Things just got better from there. Last night, my son slept for 11 hours straight, no crying, not a single sound from him! I have become a better and happier mother because I am finally getting sleep. Most importantly my son is thriving! I highly recommend a desperate mom out there to give this a try!
@@Lilyputmum I didn’t turn lights on. If he was standing in the crib, I put him back down and remind him it’s still nighttime. Shush or pat for a bit, but try to let him go to sleep independently. If he was still laying in the crib, I watched him in the baby monitor before going in, because many times he would just fall back asleep on his own. I didn’t let him cry it out though. This took 3-4 days before he figured it out. Hope this helps.
@@dhvanip mine 14 months old screams of she doesn't like anything and she hates it if i try to make her sleep on my shoulder or pat her and always every two hours wakes up fussy and drowsy ,i co sleep with her how can i proceed
@@oafseu my son went through a terrible 18 month sleep regression for about 1.5 - 2 months and unfortunately since he was more aware of his surroundings and what was going on, I tried to restore it with this method, but didn’t work on him. It might work for you, though. Good luck!
This is amazing. No ignoring, no crying, no hurting mommy heart. No neglect. It's great! Thank you and good job! I do something similar where I turn off all the lights and lay down until he lays next to me and falls asleep, then I get up. : )
Thank you so much for this video! After watching it I taught my one year old son to sleep in his crib, by himself. He used to sleep with me constantly since he was born. More over, he had never slept longer then 3 hours straight and kept on waking up to get breast fed every hour or so ! It was exhausting and I knew I have to do something about it. I heard about sleep training by letting the baby cry himself to sleep and that was something I would not be able to do. This method shown in your video is so nice and gentle indeed. My son did cry a bit but It wasn’t ever longer then a few minutes and it wasn’t proper cry- more like moaning. He knew I’m there and he wasn’t scared. The first time he fell asleep in just 8 minutes and the first night he woke up 4 times but after one week he slept through the whole night and now he sleeps whole 10 hours during the night without waking up. Thanks again x
Can you please tell what did you do at night when he waque up ,thanks I started this method today, but I don't know what to do when he waque up at night
@@nabilamaouche9780 hi Nabila. Well done for trying the method. I promise you it will work. Once your baby wake up at night you do exakt the same that you do when you putting him to sleep. Just lie him down and seat near and wait. Don’t talk to him, avoid eye contact and don’t entertain him in any way. Put him down every time he stand up. Be calm and gentle as baby can sense if you stressed or annoyed. I hope it answers your questions x
How did you wean off the breastfeeding?? Im trying to do this method to my 14mos daughter and we are co-sleeping. She cries a lot and is asking for my breast for her to go to sleep 😭😭
@@rachelanneching5304 hi. It looks like you have similar situation with your daughter like I had with my son. The two points of doing any sleeping training is to teach child to fall asleep on her own and and teach her that night is for sleeping , not eating or playing. So you need to follow the steps shown in video. When your baby wakes up for breast you don’t give it to her just do what you do in the evening. Put her down and stay nearby, be calm and consistent. Your baby will cry probably because that’s the way she communicates with you. If the times when she cries are too hard for you remember that you doing the right thing not only for yourself but for her too. I kept breastfeeding my son until he was 2 years old but only during the day. Make sure your daughter eats enough calories during the day and no longer then hour before going sleep so she is not hungry at night. I hope that helps. Good luck to you✊🏽
Hi Kristin I am a mom of 1 year old twin boys. I came across your video yesterday when I was literally losing it. My babies used to scream when putting them down to sleep .. I always wanted to sleep train them from the time they were six months old but never had the courage to do so and was always apprehensive because what if it never worked. Everywhere I read only about the ferber method and it seemed too harsh for me. So last night I tried your method with one of my babies and he did cry towards the end when I kept putting him down but in exactly twenty minutes I could not believe my eyes when I actually saw him self soother and sleep by himself. Today afternoon also he took one solid two hour nap without waking up after 10-15 minutes and crying which is what he always did previously. I just wanted to say THANK YOU SO SO MUCH ❤❤❤ for the method and especially for actually putting in a clip of the process with your baby. That's what kinda motivated me to try because my babies do the same thing that urs was doing. I am going to pull through this for the next few nights and I am sure it will work and then I am going to start working on my other one. Thank you . Stay blessed. I don't usually write reviews but I was so astonished myself and I though you and everybody who comes across your channel knows that your method is excellent and maybe should replace the Ferber 😊 ..such a difference in one night .. WOW ...You are amazing
UPDATE: My daughter turned one today. For her morning nap I just put her down in her crib and she stays down. I can leave the room immediately. She doesnt need a bottle to sleep anymore, I just make sure she has eaten or had her milk within 45 minutes of me putting her down. I continue to be extremely grateful for this method! Let me just tell you this method has changed my life! My almost 10 month old baby has never slept through the night. I had no clue what to do because my first baby slept through the night on her own at 2 months. I thought she would eventually learn on her own. After a very difficult sleepless night I pulled up youtube for a solution. hearing your story on how it worked for you made me give it a shot. 3 days in and my breastfed baby no longer has to nurse to sleep. Thank you thank you thank you! Actually showing the method and your story made this very sleep deprived momma (and dad) very happy!
@@hannadubas7463 We ended up doing a version of Taking Cara Babies, and it did work! But then we went on vacation shortly after, and vacay kind of messed with her schedule. We are back to bed sharing haha! It’s getting a bit cramped, so we are looking into trying the Taking Cara Babies (similar to Ferber method) again. Our daughter seems to have a negative association with her crib, so I may try to work with her on that first. No one ever told me baby/toddler sleep could be so challenging haha! I hope it goes well for you! Honestly, I think the earlier you start, the better. I think it will make it easier!
Thank you so much for actually describing a method and not trying to sell some workshop series. This seems to be a method that might work for my family. Much appreciated!!!
As a solo and very sleep-deprived dad, I'm extremely grateful I came across this video! Going to trial this with my toddler as the Ferber method has not worked for us at all 😂
I found this video and tried it! My 8 month old daughter would wake up 5-7 times a night. I tried this for a week and she is sleeping through the night. I can’t thank this video enough. Thank you!
I was just watching this last 2 days ago, tried it immediately, and my son can already sleep by himself now. This worked better than the ferber method we tried. There's a bit of cry on the first tries but you're still there with your baby comforting him.
Omg 5 years later and this is super helpful! I was so discouraged because my 1yr old NEVER looks tired but I’m happy to be able to physically see that they can fall asleep even while not appearing tired
This method works like magic. You are lifesaver Kristin... My baby was waking up every 45 minutes while napping and every 3 hrs at night. She had to be breastfed every time she woke up at night. I tried this method. My baby also cried. I comforted her by PUPD method.. but she was again crying when I laid her down. Then I tried keeping my hands on her or gently tapping or sometimes sing a song. Then she got adjusted to this and then slowly reduced the taps or touching day by day.. and she learned it and slept through night like an angel within a week. I tried this method when she was 11 months old. Now she is 16 months old and sleeps for 10.5 -11 hrs at night and 3 hrs nap(1 nap).
I had to leave a comment here because this video changed my life. My 15 month old has never slept well. I’ve tried so many different sleep programs and nothing worked. I’m exhausted and so is he. I’ve had the baby whisperer book in my book shelf but never felt like it was manageable for me and the times I did try it I was never sure I was doing it right so I would give up. Thank you so much for showing how you did it! It made me feel so much more confident when I tried it with my son. He adjusted to it so well and was going into his crib without crying by night 3.
I just want to say that this video is the best video on sleep training on UA-cam. You rock! I followed your directions with my 1 year old and he now sleeps through the night and is able to self soothe himself. The first night was rough but it was so worth it. Thank you SO MUCH for this. I will be following your channel for more helpful videos. You rock mama!
This works! Took around 8 days for it to take effect so try stick with it if you feel going no where our 11 month fought for a bit - but now goes down like a dream sleeping through the night. Thank you
I just want to say THANK YOU! This is by far one of the BEST videos out there for sleep training. I followed this routine with 7 1/2 month old baby girl and it worked! I love the fact that you actually showed us "how" its does with your son, THAT helped a lot!
Can you please explain how you did it with your baby. Mine is 5.5 she can put herself to sleep for nap time and bedtime (with a paci) but I'm struggling in the middle if the night because she needs a bottle which I'm trying to ween her off (we got the okay from Dr.) But I know she will cry bloody murder cause she has ... also her paci is a crutch at nighttime she seems to be good at naps tho. I just don't know what to do.. do I pick her up while she's crying and put her down without the paci? Or should I use the paci... my whole thing is we've been struggling bad when she can't find the paci at night
@@jesystari have the exact same problem with my baby she’s 7 months and cry soon as she loose her paci during the night so i have to put it right back in her mouth so she can go back to sleep 😭😭 Did find any solutions
I just wanted you to know that this worked WONDERS for us! We literally tried it the same night that I watched this video and by the second night our baby girl slept through the night in her crib and is on an amazing track with her naps now!!! She went from coalescing in a boppy every night to that which is HUGE!! Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you for this! Keep this quick. Our baby was sleeping 8hr feed then 3-4 hrs stretches since 1.5-4.5 months. We used the SNOO and taking cara babies techniques. Then he went through a hard sleep regression, rolling over, teething, crawling. Would try and wake every hr most nights. Co sleeping helped a bit but not much. We agreed Cry it out wasn’t for us. Not that you invented Pick up put down, but the way you explained it and showed the process gave me the confidence to try it out the other day. He put himself to sleep within 15 minutes the first night and 5 last night. More importantly, he didn’t wake every hr. Or if he did he’d change positions and put himself back to sleep! So proud of him! But yeah big thanks for this and we’ll be sharing this with any parents I know that are going through this or in the future.
I am listening to this video at 5 am after 1 hour battling with my son to sleep, tried the method and it worked! I will continue with it until he can sleep through the night again. Thank you!
Hi. Thank you so much for sharing this. We tried this over the weekend and it felt like we were headed in the right direction. However, LG (10 mo) has fallen sick then (fever, cold, sore throat, runny nose) so we decided to pause the process. How long do you recommend we wait until we start again? Also, so you think we can continue doing it if she falls sick? I obv want to comfort her if she needs but don't know what's a good middle ground to have with her falling sick every other week since starting nursery.
@@hiralmehta8699 My son is very sensitive to sun light. Even though we had the blind and curtains closed, he seemed to be able to detect the sun was out, so the whole summer he was waking up in the middle of the night. He was never a good sleeper. I tried it for over two months, exhausted from lack of sleep myself. Then he got sick and we were back to square one. We just letted him stay with us when he woke up. Once the winter started, his sleep got better again. After been through it, all I can say is whatever suits you. If you are exhausted from trying it, take the LO with you for you to get some sleep. Sorry, probably not much help.
OMG!! Thank God for you! My wife and I have been trying to sleep train our 18 month old for 2 weeks by a pick up put down method but I would pick him up out of the crib to soothe him then it got to where he would pretty much fall asleep on me then wake as I’m laying him back down, then all over again. It was driving us CRAZY! So this morning I turned to youtube and found ya! So we did your method tonight for the first time and he went OUT in 35 minutes!!! Unbelievable. Thank you soooooo much.
Kristin & Co. Last night was completely successful, except for one thing. Prior to sleep training we allowed our 19 month old to come to bed with us if he woke at 5:30 because we were so exhausted at that point that we would give in😔 With that I’m mind I do have two questions. First, if he wakes at 5:30 should we stick with the put down technique that was proven to work at all wake ups? And if so, how long should we try for if his day starts between 7:00am - 7:45am. Last night when he woke at 5:30am I tried the technique until 6:30 and didn’t want to go beyond because We didn’t want to mess up his schedule by getting him back to bed too late and waking up late. Because he is 19 months we are just doing the put down part like you recommend and that is working perfectly. I placed him down in crib at 7:40 drowsy and after our bedtime routine and he did wake often at 10:30pm, 12:40am, 3:30am and 5:30am. However, he fell asleep on his own while I was sitting next to his crib each time other than the 5:30 wake up. My second question is as our son gets the hang of this should wake ups become less frequent? Or longer stretches of sleep? Thank you so much for your help! The videos you posted were a complete game changer for us and it was amazing to see our son lay down calmly and fall asleep on his own😳😳 Yes, he gave us some protesting tears, but eventually he was able to get the hang of it. Thank you for saving our lives!!!! We felt like we were enduring a slow death from sleep deprivation and my wife is 31 weeks pregnant so I have taken over on the sleep training. Again, thank you!!!!!!
I came back to your video just to let other moms know that IT WORKS!!! And it’s amazing!!! This method was a life savior for our family! I took just 4 days and I just can’t believe that I leave my baby in bed AWAKE and she just goes to sleep by herself. I was really struggling and felt horrible by letting her cry it out. She’s going through her 18 months sleep regression but she still goes to sleep by herself. 🙌🏼 thank you again !!!!
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else wants to learn about sleep problems in teenagers try Moorack Simple Sleep Miracle ( search on google ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my buddy got amazing success with it.
i had my daughter in late 1977. there was no such thing at that time as 'sleep training.' i work with infants and toddlers. the infant i am working with now is on a 'schedule,' where Time determines her nap time, per her mother/parents. i now take care of her from my home which has given me much more leeway to follow my natural knowing and instincts. i do not put her to sleep per the clock, yes, like you, i watch for sleepy signs. what i find works, and by that i mean, her nap with her parents is 20-30 minutes long. At my house it is a minimum of 1.5 hrs, max 2.5 + hours. i wait til she is really exhausted, like you mentioned with your son when there was no sleep training needed the time he just went to sleep. i do follow a nap time routine and verbalize it to her as we go along, which includes pulling down the shade in the room and reading and a bottle. she hates being put in bed, has an immediate adverse reaction. i read this as, oh you are telling me i have to go to bed now and i am not ready. i do not believe crying is a process or part of a process for children putting themselves to sleep. i see this as part of the sleep trainers' rationale. Sleep training to me is designed for busy parents. i don't mean to sound harsh, but i do call a spade a spade, from my point of view. it is more geared for parents' needs than for children's, from my view and past experience. yes, children will develop a routine of waking, eating, playing, sleeping, naturally, which will not be exact, as life somewhat differs from day to day, naturally. parents, adults trying to 'figure out' the time schedule overemphasizes 'the clock' from my view. it's more of a sequence and to me does not matter so much the hour/minute schedule. needing a nap is a natural thing, it is purely because babies and young ones need sleep as part of their nourishing, nurturing developmental process on all levels, particularly physical, since so much physical development is accelerated in the early years. Mental and emotional development and states are directly reflected, intertwined with child's physical needs being met, ie. sleep, food, movement, play, self expression, bonding, etc. this to me implies since it is a natural need for most young ones, it needs to be on their timing, not ours. keeping in mind a reasonable day/night schedule so they do not get reversed or impede one another. i really believe that with humans and animals/pets, a portion of the problem stems from the adults taking care of the human or pet. it's not wrong or bad, it's because we were not parented optimally, nor have we resolved family/personal issues and we remain unaware in those areas that need healing and resolving. it is an evolutionary process. i also see your method of pick up / put down as extremely committed and devoted to your child and your family and your own well being. question is, is it working well enough for your child, for you, for your family. it is such a huge trend currently, and for me is not one i am willing to engage in. i have a sense of the baby's needs, which are mainly non-verbal except for their crying when they are unhappy. parenting a baby, pre-verbal child is all about picking up the clues for what they are crying about. also reading your child's personality, character, patterns. i have another means for this, which if anyone is interested, i am happy to share. i appreciate your video, despite not agreeing with 'sleep training.' and the mindset parents are trained to take on. bottomline is: what works. which we each decide and continue to seek more education and experience in facilitating our child's well- being. All the Best
I am currently on day 3 of sleep training my 7-month-old daughter, this method works best for us than letting her cry it out. I noticed on the second day that she took her pacifier and went right back to sleep in the middle of the night. The struggle is real on the first day, after that you will see changes right away!! This is the BEST method for sleep training!
This is my third time sleep training. Usually I leave the room. This method has worked really well. Staying in the room and laying bub down was the key to getting him to sleep. Thank you for making this video!
I'm so glad it's working! I was the same. Tried CIO, just made him hysterical and me stressed. Also tried going the opposite direction with Attachment Parenting methods, but made sleep worse.
I just started doing this last night with my 6month old. After 30 mins of following this routine my baby slept for 6hrs straight! Normally she wakes up every two hours at night and will only sleep in my arms. Thank you for posting this video it makes sleep training so much less stressful than the cry it out method.
@lemonbar7 :o this gives me hope my little one is 5 1/2 months old and contact naps all the time and the minute I lay him down he wakes up. @Kristin Moras -I thanking you already for this method -will try this from tomorrow or maybe tonight ! Much love from a tired mom lol xoxo
This works! I can't believe it. We fell off of the wind down period without realizing it and I had to watch this again to realize where I went wrong but he's sleeping pretty well. Just keep at it mama's! I'm a dad.
he is EXACTLY like my son, giggles, laugh try to play and just seems super awake! I'll definitely try this today and see how we go! fingers crossed for me!
@@KristinCo Day one was okay, hard on mum and dad. I did fine with two naps and dad interrupted the night time re-settling. so we let him run around for a while. Day 2 he was real tired so went down easy for both naps, night time was fine just 30 mins or so. Day three I think because he had such good night sleep, he didn't want to go for his first nap, ended up falling asleep in car when we went out, now dad is attempting night sleep as I type. Dad thinks this was CIO but explained to him how it's not, just hard when baby is grumpy haha hope to get better down the track...
@@paggy33c yeah, it's crazy. Once they get a good night sleep then you realize their nap schedule is actually different than before (because they aren't making up for sleep anymore) so it throws everything off! Sounds like you're getting the hang of it though. My husband was a skeptic the whole time until one day he realized "oh sh*t" the baby isn't waking up at night!" Now he 100% helps me haha
This works. I wish I had found this videos a few months ago. I had tried everything and nothing worked. This method worked. By the 3rd night he felt asleep on his own.
This is by far the best method, the first night was difficult but not nearly as bad as i had expected. Im only on night 2 and it took 15 minutes to get my boy to sleep. I may be speaking too soon but im pretty sure this video has been life changing for me. Thank you so so so much. This video is a blessing me. I have been struggling putting my 1 year old to bed by herself without her screaming everything I lay her down. This method is the only one that works! Thank u so much!
This was such a wonderful video! I loved how you showed and discussed the reality of the method. I am starting this soon and it just helps to see someone else go through it and what I can expect.
Thanks for sharing, i am looking everywhere and most of moms are using cry it out method including my son's doctor. my whole family fell apart when he was crying and screaming in his room. He is now 8 month and he has been co-sleep with us in the past we just started to put him sleep in his own crib. in the past 5 nights, i tried to rock him to sleep and then put him in there, but he woke up many times and would immediately standup and crying. it is so exhausting as i had to get up and rock/feed him back to sleep and then put him down. i think this is because he doesnt know how to sleep on his own. i am going to try this out! thank you again for the wonderful and detailed explanation.
Thank you so much for sharing this!! I’ve been struggling and lose hope with my almost one year old. This method seems like something that I can take on and stick with. And thank you for sharing footage of Ethan in the crib! My little guy does the same things and I always wondered if I was putting him down too early. This video was so helpful!!
This is the BEST video. I was looking for something as sleep learning is so diff for a1 year old vs 6 months etc. I did not want to leave to cry. First night, was OK, 4 min to go to sleep. I loved the routine with book etc. And he slept till 3 after that was hard like every hour, but he had whole night in the cot! That's win for me. I know he's save in there. Thanks for the follow up video too.
Thank you so much for this video! It has literally changed my life. I was in the same situation as you were. I was at wits end and had tried to get my daughter into sleep school (they rejected us at my daughter was 13m and they don’t take children over 12 months) I was broken and lost as to what to do. I found your video and the settling routine made so much sense and my daughter is now sleeping and everyone is well rested and happy. Thank you sooooo much 💜
Thank you so much for this video ❤❤, my 15 month old was waking up every 1-2 hours at night to feed it was so tiresome, I tried this Methode and we a co-sleeping, we are at night 5 and today he slept from 9:30 pm till 2 am woke up drank some water and went right back to sleep till 8:30 am 😊. Thank you so so much
Yeah. It's really important to stay consistent. Otherwise they learn to cry harder and longer to be rocked, held, or whatever the sleep association is. The first couple of days it will take a while, but then they get used to the new routine and stop waking up.
@@KristinCo Your baby seemed so calm. What do you do if bub is quite upset and protesting? Do you cuddle till calm, then put down or not cuddle at all? Sorry for the million questions, I'm about to start my ST journey and it is very daunting
It's not a problem! And I'm not sure if I mentioned it on the video, but the first night it took two hours for him to settle. He cried the whole time. BUT after that he was never that upset again. He'd still fuss, but not full on cry. To comfort, it really depends on the age of your baby. If he/she can stand, you just keep laying them down and in a calm voice say "it's ok. You're just going to sleep now." If the baby is not yet standing, then you can pick up until calm, but as soon as they stop crying you lay right back down. Just brace yourself, because you might pu/pd over 100 times. The first night is always the worst, but if you stick with the method and are consistent it'll be smooth sailing after that. I hope this helps! Feel free to email me anytime too if you need advice or just want to talk :)
@@KristinCo thank you so much for this video. This is what kind of happened to us, we could not stay consistent. Do you think we should wait few days and start again?
Kristin & Co. I’m going to try this with my almost 18 month old! She still has a super hard time going to sleep at bedtime independently. But what do I do if she is full on crying and standing up in the crib? Just keep laying her down but not pick her up? Should I not touch her at all?
You are a life saver as we have tried all. Recommendations from rhe health visitor failed as well. My baby literally went to same SLEEP SCHOOL as yours. She is eleven months and so ENERGETIC, she wakes every two hours and I am so drained. I can't handle the CRY IT OUT method either. Will definitely try this tomorrow and update soonest. UPDATE :-It's gone horrible, IT WAA A FAIL, now my baby fears to sleep in her cot after the first night of training. I quit and back to my nurse to sleep accepting it is a phase, things will be better.
Going through this with my 10 month old! She loves day naps but nighttime OMGGGGG. Thank you for the video- we are going to try this because seriously, mama is tired af!
I just want to say that the first night I tried this was very rough, but then just like she said my daughter fell asleep. It took about 3 days of doing this method for my daughter to learn to self soothe again and sleep all night!! 💕💕 thank you so much for sharing this with us
This video has been a life saver for us. Seeing how you repeatedly laid him down was helpful. We had to lay our daughter down for about 50 times the first night, but after that it has never taken more than 4 lay downs!
I can’t wait to try this. It seems like a good way to get them to sleep without all the anxiety of other methods. My son is 10 months old and he has been getting up throughout the night since he was born. I’m one grumpy mama some days are better than others 😂 love the video of him wiggling around pretty cute and entertaining lol
This really worked! I can’t thank you enough for making this video and being so specific with the footage. That helped my confidence in this method greatly! My 13 month old son has coslept in our bed since he was 5 months old and he started refusing naps and sleep in his crib. He was getting too big for our bed and was still waking up between 3-7 times a night and it was so hard on me and my husband. We almost booked a sleep specialist and would have paid hundreds of dollars for sleep help. Then I found your video and I tried it yesterday for a nap and last night. He did cry for 1 hour both time but I soothed him the whole time. He slept in his crib the whole night last night only waking once! Today, I went to put him down for a nap and he fell asleep within 8 minutes! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 Thank you so much. My only question is, when he wakes that one time or if he wakes more tonight, should I feed him and then put him down in his crib before he falls asleep or just skip any feedings during the night?
Hey! I'm so glad it worked for you and that it saved you some money too! As for your question, if you feed him itll reinforce his waking up. Try giving him a bottle of water and eventually he'll get bored and stop waking up. Probably after one or two nights. However, if you notice he keeps waking up he might still be hungry so try feeding him more during the day to curb his hunger at night. At a year babies are able to sleep through without needing to eat. Hope this helps!
Sarah B Unfortunately no :( he still wakes up twice a night and will scream and be restless unless I feed him. Twice a night is a lot less than it was before so that’s good! He always wakes up at midnight and four so I feed him then put him down right after and he goes to sleep within minutes with no crying so that’s okay to me :)
@@mcdanielmath Hi Lauryn, thanks for your super fast reply! Really appreciate it! Well done in taking the plunge and doing this method. Like you, it's taking a toll on me and I think I need to do this for my own sanity! My little one is 19 months old, so I'm kinda scared that he is going to chuck up a big stink.
Just saw this video and it worked like a charm he cried and screamed so much but given he’s 21 months and has a lot of strength and energy. After 30 min he slept 😃
I’m on night 2 of this method. I CANNOT BELIEVE THE RESULTS! I was sure I’d be in the room for 2+ hours trying this with my son. As happy a baby as he is he’s definitely a crier too. I tried Ferber method with him at 5 months and he nearly made himself sick, I couldn’t do that again, for my own sanity and for his. He’s 12 months now. He went down within 35 minutes the first night after consoling him a few times, and many pick ups/ put downs. He only woke up once during the night!! Tonight it took even less time, and more complaining then crying. I didn’t even need to console him! I just can’t believe how well this has worked. Thank you soooo muuuuch!! 😭🙌🏼🙏🏼
I'm so happy for you ! Well done . I'm going to try this one again . My sleep training has been interrupted as bubba had excema and my heart would allow me to let him sleep in his Moses basket or cot but I will get back on it .
I tried this and let me tell you, it works! It’s better than the cry it out method in my opinion. I would add, I rub my baby’s face and body lightly to help her fall asleep and she loves that. I guess, learn what your baby likes and incorporate it to this method. Thank you for this video!
I just wanted to say thank you so much for shairing/explaining the method you use, my son turned 1 in December and was waking up at least 5 times a night for me to nurse him back to sleep and I was so tiered I would pass out in my recliner nursing him and end up sleeping there the rest of the night, I tried the "cry it out method" and I couldn't do it but then I stumbled upon this video and it changed my life, I have been doing this method for a little under a month now and I am happy to say he is sleeping through the night 🙌🏻
Thanks for your helpful video. I used the techniques a couple of months ago and it really helped. We've since been dealing with illnesses and so there has been some regression. What I am unsure about is..... how does the last feed fit into your schedule? We do a wind down routine before bed - dimmed lights, bath - but I then feed my little on and he tends to fall asleep during the feed. My son is 11 months old. I want to make sure he's fed enough to be able to last the full night, but not feed to sleep. Sorry if it's in your video and I have missed it!!! Trying to juggle!!
So I'm not going to lie, I was really skeptical about this because the first day we tried it just seemed like a CIO method. BUT, I didn't give up, not once. Day 2 got better, day 3 was great and lastnight she had 2 wake ups, 4 minutes each and then slept 5 hours straight after that second one. I wish I knew about this sooner because this has been a god send for us, thank you so much for this. All I have to do is gently talk to her after we read our ny ny book and its been so smooth. The first night she did cry for over an hour multiple times, but it DOES get better. Thank you for making this video as well as your follow up one. You helped me so much with our little one. Shes 17 months now and when I stopped nursing her, the last 2 weeks have been SO hard on us. Now, we're ALL sleeping!
Will definitely try this method TONIGHT! Thank you for the practical guide and for actually showing how it is done. This by far the most helpful video I've seen. Thanks!
Thankyou soo much for this video This video have helped my 10 month old son to fall asleep on his own amazingly. I just couldn’t believe my eyes ,cz we co-slept from his birth up until now. He even sleeps latching on to me and also kept waking multiple times ..so my days were quite rough without having proper sleep for 10 months straight.. I’m on my 3rd day of sleep training him and this had been a wonderful journey…I cannot express how grateful I am The first day was rough…he cried for an hour ..the following days were much better Thankyou for this helpful video❤
Hello, thanks so much for this. Our 6 months old started to fall asleep after about 30mins of this method. I am though facing an issue with him demending to pick him up as we were picking him up when he cried... how to do this method better so the baby doesnt "learn to cry for being picked up"? Anyone facing the same issue?
Took mine 45 minutes 😅 hopefully my 1 yr old will go to bed quicker each day. Sleep regression is terrible. Our routine prior to this one. stopped working.
Kristin I can't thank you enough for taking the time to make this video. I messaged you before for some advice and since then I think it been around 15 days I can say my baby falls asleep by herself now and I still can't believe it. I do still need to pick her up but it works within 30 mins and I just sit with her until she goes to sleep. I've tried this today for a day time nap and it worked within 10 mins!! This has been a god send thank you!!! Keep up the amazing work
Your son gave me a good chuckle, cause im still like that as an adult...and the realization that my daughter will probably put me through that too...i cant help but laugh, props to you bring straight faced im gonna have to hide my laughter from my daughter.
This video is very helpful! My fiancé started this tonight after watching your video for our 11 month old daughter! He’s literally in her room doing this right now and I’m watching from the monitor!!!
Kristin & Co. so we had to stop in the middle of training because had to take her to emergency from breathing issues... turns out she has croup without the cough so she got medicine and needs to recover the next few days so until then sleep training is on pause! But I do have a question for the future... when baby is sick and not feeling good.. would u change any routine because of that?!
Omg!! I had to come back and search for your video to comment that IT Is WORKING!!!! My 16 month have been waking up every 2 hours since she was born and after I tried this for 1 night only she slept TWELVE HOURS!!! I can’t thank you enough! To all moms this is a life saver!!
Wow..you must've been exhausted. Congrats! Your strong..i couldnt go 16 months of getting 2hr increments of sleep! Man my family would hate me being around... I'm not a nice person w/o my sleep! You must have the patience of a saint!
Wish I had seen this before trying Ferber. We’re on day 4 and it’s working, but my 10 month old still cry’s for a bit before falling asleep😢I hate it, my husband hates it, but I doubt any parent is ok with hearing their baby cry, so I know I’m not alone in that. I was one of those moms who swore she’d never sleep train, but I’m now happy we stuck with it bc everyone, including him, is getting a full nights sleep. If or when he goes through another regression I’ll definitely try this method. Thank you for showing what it looks like. That’s super helpful 💜
thank you so much! great explanation and thanks for showing how you do it! really useful to hear the background story because it was so similar to our situtation. so it gave me some hope and reassurance.
I been obsessive watching these videos because I am sleep deprived. I want my almost 1 year old to sleep in her crib. I’ve bought a memory foam topper got her a soother and she sleeps in there but constantly wakes up and I DO NOT wanna hear her cry or let her cry. I’ve made her room and crib as comfy as I can. The hard part is the waking up at 3am to assure her she’s fine get her back to bed and get me back to bed. I hope this method works I love that it’s gentle 😭🥰
Oh mama, you'll all be sleeping soon. I must warn you though that there is still crying involved in this method. But it's considered gentle because you aren't leaving your baby alone and when she does cry you comfort her. The first night, my son cried for two hours straight. BUT after that he hardly cried at all. It's a trust thing. Babies aren't used to falling asleep on their own and they get mad and upset when they have to start trying. But by staying in the room and comforting with words vs rocking to sleep etc. they learn that it's safe to do and that mom or dad isn't abandoning them. Hope that made sense! It took me a long time to learn this with my first, but I've mimicked this method in other areas of our life (like with tantrums etc.) and I've noticed it helps build their confidence and make our relationship stronger.
I’m having the same issue for bedtime (this is the first day). Did it eventually work? EDIT: just realized you didn’t mean you were actually doing the method and misunderstood, my bad.
@@GothVibeWars I was indeed trying the method lol… what helped was making sure her belly was full. Much easier said than done because she can be a picky eater at times.
I’ve tried the cry out method and even though it worked it never lasted. I did the put down method today and even though my daughter is a fighter and will try and hurt herself before she tries to fall asleep it still worked. Eventually she got to the point where when she knew I was coming over to put her down she would just sit herself down. After 10-15 min of crying she fell asleep on her own. Thank you thank you 👍
I’m gonna try this method. Currently it’s 1:20am my 11 month old has taken over the bed after waking up for the 3rd time..... as I write this comment I’m crying and crying, because I’m just so frustrated. I REALLY hope this works. 🙏🏼
Okay, this is exactly my situation. Had a kid that was sleeping well, then all of his molars came in and he kept getting sick and we just chalked his bad sleep the last few months up to those reasons. We need to get him back to good sleep! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks very much! I am trying to use this method to train my now-9-month-old boy to sleep. He had the same problem, teething, sick, and then 1 month ago, COVID! After sleeping in mum & daddy's arms for 1 week, he totally forgot how to sleep through the night. After a couple of weeks, he is definitely doing well most of the day naps, but the night one we haven't started with the training yet. Just like you mentioned, I am not sure if I am doing the right things, as he just stands, tries to make noise to draw my attention, kicks legs etc,. You gave me a lot of confidence to carry the practice into night-sleeps, and fingers crossed!
I’m gonna try this today! My son is 12 months and will not put himself to sleep and usually wakes 1-2 times at night 😢 the cry it out method just freaks me out and makes my anxiety awful! Thank you so much for this video I’ll let you guys know if it work for me! Fingers crossed 🤞
Hi! Thank you for making this - it makes me feel not so alone all those looong nights in the dark! I was using shush pat pretty successfully on my son until the 4 month sleep regression hit! I switched to PU/PD on my now 5 and a half month old about 3 weeks ago, and sort of use a combo of both - picking him up and shushing/patting until calm, then laying down. Sometimes it works and settles him quickly, other times he cries every time I put him down and it can take up to an hour! My question is regarding exactly when to put him down. He'll be crying in his cot, and I'll pick him up and he makes this kind of whiny half crying sound which is quite loud, so I never know whether to wait for that to stop (which could be a few minutes), or to put him down while he's still doing it. Do you think I should be doing shush pat when I pick him up or just pick one method and stick to it? I will first try shush pat when he's lying down and sometimes it settles him, but usually he cries more and I have to pick him up. I also continue the shush pat when I lay him down and wean off that if he settles. I feel like after 3 weeks he should be self-settling but it seems to be one step forward and one step back!
Hey! Thanks for commenting. You're definitely not alone! To answer your questions, yes. Pick one method because the two are very different from the baby's perspective and it could be causing confusion. At 5months pu/pd will work quickest, but both will work at this age. Personally, I found with both my boys that shush pat would actually stimulate them and make it harder to settle. When doing pu/pd pick your baby up when crying and hold until he does his little whimper you mentioned. Then lay him right back down. Don't wait for him to be quiet because at 5mos babies essentially cry themselves to sleep until they learn to self soothe. So a mild crying is ok. If he gets hysterical then pick him up. Eventually you'll notice the crying will become shorter and eventually stop because he's learned to soothe. It sounds harsh, but if you stay in the room and use a soothing voice itll actually build his trust that what is happening is ok and nothing bad will happen to him. Hope that helps!
I am at day 4 with my baby and the 3th night he slept all night .. by that I mean he was still waking up but was falling asleep right away . A little bit of crying but still .. I have not slept so well in a long long time .. I never thought this day will ever come.. he is 11 months . Thank you so much! In the first 3 days I needed 16-20 minutes to put him to sleep .. today at the first nap he needed only 6-7 minutes… guys this is working like a charm ❤
Hi Everyone! I posted this video over a year ago (my son is now 3 and still a great sleeper!) and I'm so happy that it's helped so many of you. I just had my third baby and am documenting the EASY portion of this method. She's 5 months old and we beat the 4 month regression following this method. You can see my newborn routine here ua-cam.com/video/_khPjUTb2bQ/v-deo.html and you can see her EASY routine (4-6 months) in action here ua-cam.com/video/YsMNjnhidAg/v-deo.html
This is crazy. I saw this video like two or theee days ago. Immediately started with bed time doing this and moved to naps as well the following day. My daughter has been in our bed basically since she was two months old. Every nap on me. As she got older she would sleep in her crib for naps for 30-45 minutes and that’s all. This is like the second night of me really really following your method and my daughter has been asleep AT BEDTIME EVEN for over three hours. She’s a year old and this has NEVER happened. She has never slept solo for this long. It’s incredible.
Thanks for this video. I am willing to try this. I feel like I've tried everything. I am exhausted and I want both of us to get sleep. My 15mo old tosses and turns through the night. He wakes up crying..its hard to take but I will try this. I don't sleep I am getting up 7 to 10 times a night..picking him up and rocking him back to sleep each time and as you said they are heavy. Something must give. I will give this a try..thank you.
Thank you so much for this video , my little girl is 11 months old and been rocked pretty much from birth. As you can imagine both me and dad have had 0 sleep especially since she has been getting up every hour or even half hour at night being unable to self soothe. We tried your method 3 days ago and we are in disbelief of how she has adjusted especially since the first time we tried sleep training she projectile vomited. If you haven’t got a book or a class already you need one- you are amazing. Thank you!
Yes, you can use a pacifier. Just know though, that you may have to sleep train again in the future when you need them to give up the pacifier. So if you can, I recommend training without one.
Thank you for including the video of the process. It helped. We started today. My son is 3 weeks away from turning 1 year. He just yelled and cried for 58 minutes while I was doing this, but he is FINALLY asleep in his crib. My mama nerves are a little shot, though. I really hope this gets easier faster 😩
Good to know my baby isn’t the only one kicking and screaming and crying for a long time , it is so hard to have patience in the midst of their LOUD crying lol I literally have to sit there and meditate to keep my cool 🧘🏻♀️
@Jo N. I gave up after the 4th day. Ive got a VERY stubborn little boy. But I recently started again, putting him down sleepy and leaving the room and he has finally started falling alseep on his own thank goodness.
Thank you so much Kristin for making this video! 🙏 I just tried this with my 15 month old. It worked it!! I set a timer and it took me 29 mins and 17 seconds.
Thank you! I’m so happy you included footage of him wriggling and crazy before going to sleep by himself. This gives me a lot of confidence.
Glad it was helpful!
@@KristinCo sorry if I missed anything but what do you do when he wakes up in the middle of the night, do you repeat the whole process again? Thanks!
Same!!
@@nisa3612 i have the same question
I have a question while he woke up at night how did you pacify him? Like did you turn light on to engage him or what
@@Lilyputmum I didn’t turn lights on.
Have you had the 18 month regression? If so, were you able to restore the sleep process with this afterwards?
@@dhvanip mine 14 months old screams of she doesn't like anything and she hates it if i try to make her sleep on my shoulder or pat her and always every two hours wakes up fussy and drowsy ,i co sleep with her how can i proceed
@@oafseu my son went through a terrible 18 month sleep regression for about 1.5 - 2 months and unfortunately since he was more aware of his surroundings and what was going on, I tried to restore it with this method, but didn’t work on him. It might work for you, though. Good luck!
5:43 - She finally starts talking about the method.
Thank god
Thank youuu
I almost quit watching it . Just keep talking. Please not do much yay yay . Blah
Thank u. Hate the long intros
😄
This is amazing. No ignoring, no crying, no hurting mommy heart. No neglect. It's great! Thank you and good job! I do something similar where I turn off all the lights and lay down until he lays next to me and falls asleep, then I get up. : )
The footage of how MANY times you had to lay him back down is incredibly helpful & empowering. I’m going to start this!
Did it work for you and your little one??
Good luck to you✊🏽
@@rachelanneching5304 hi. Can you share your results please. My daughter is also breastfeeding. What about day naps?
Hi Kristin
I am a mom of 1 year old twin boys.
I'm so so glad!!
Thank you for commenting this! So encouraging to me with my breastfed 9 month old! I am going to try this method.
@@rachelmunozdid it work for you? I’m going to try this tomorrow with my 10 month old
@@hannadubas7463 We ended up doing a version of Taking Cara Babies, and it did work!
Going to trial this with my toddler as the Ferber method has not worked for us at all 😂
How did it go?
Happy to see other nurturing dads out there!
@@Slotcaramba it worked like a dream 😭🙏 took a little bit longer because of teething but after 2 weeks it was all running smoothly
This is encouraging. I'm due in February and remember these days with my son. It was so hard. Trying to prepare better this time.
I ll try this
I cant handle listening to my baby cry... going to try this method thank you for the actuak footages it gives me hope!!
Yay!!! I'm so glad it helped y'all get some sleep
Yay!!! I'm so happy to hear that!
Just used this for the first time on our almost 14 month old. ONLY TEN MINUTES! THANK YOU!!!
Just wanted to update that we're now on night 3. Goes down without crying and we're just amazed! Thank you so much!
We are on night 3 too , it does get better really… 🥰🥰
This works! Took around 8 days for it to take effect so try stick with it if you feel going no where our 11 month fought for a bit - but now goes down like a dream sleeping through the night. Thank you
You absolutely have saved my sanity. My daughter slept through the night for the first time last night. THANK YOU.
How old was she when you tried it? And is it still working?
@@jesystari have the exact same problem with my baby she’s 7 months and cry soon as she loose her paci during the night so i have to put it right back in her mouth so she can go back to sleep 😭😭

I also want to add that I’m so glad you posted the actual process because I almost gave up!
Yay!! I'm so glad ☺️
That is FANTASTIC and I'm so happy for you! Thanks for sharing your success ☺️
I'm going to try it with my 1 year old who co sleeps and nurses to sleep. Wish me luck! I'm not a fan of cry it out bc he gets SO upset
@@destinynorris9328 Good luck and let me know how it goes!
@@destinynorris9328 I am the same situation with my 11 month old. Co-sleeping and nursing to sleep. Please let me know how it went for you!
My LO woke up several time during night. How did you put your baby back to sleep. I am very interesting in this method.
I want to try this method because my heart hurts for the cry it out, but my LO is refusing the crib & only wants to co-sleep. She’s 6 months
Mine is hysterical anyway.😓 screaming, kicking, standing up, crying... do you have any advice?
I just started doing this last night with my 6month old. After 30 mins of following this routine my baby slept for 6hrs straight! Normally she wakes up every two hours at night and will only sleep in my arms. Thank you for posting this video it makes sleep training so much less stressful than the cry it out method.
I'm so happy to hear that! ❤ and so happy for you to get some sleep too!
@lemonbar7 Did your baby cry alot before falling asleep?
@lemonbar7 :o this gives me hope my little one is 5 1/2 months old and contact naps all the time and the minute I lay him down he wakes up.
@Kristin Moras -I thanking you already for this method -will try this from tomorrow or maybe tonight ! Much love from a tired mom lol xoxo
* I am
Good luck! Let me know how it goes
He’s the cutest!!! Ugh! His smile brings me so much joy and happiness lol!
After watching this video I tried the put down method on my 10 month old and it worked!!! Night one done :)
I'm so happy to hear that!! Yay for sleep!
I will quote Marketa Chatten "this video is the best video on sleep training on UA-cam. You rock!"
This works. I wish I had found this videos a few months ago. I had tried everything and nothing worked. This method worked. By the 3rd night he felt asleep on his own.
So fantastic. I'm really happy it helped ♡
This is by far the best method, the first night was difficult but not nearly as bad as i had expected. Im only on night 2 and it took 15 minutes to get my boy to sleep. I may be speaking too soon but im pretty sure this video has been life changing for me. Thank you so so so much. I liked and subscribed just to help give back but honestly i should have paid alot of money for this.
Thanks for this no cry method AND the fact that you waited a year to sleep train ! Makes much more sense than letting a 5 month old cry themselves to sleep imo ! :)
I breaks my heart that people try to “sleep train” newborns and younger babies like there is something wrong with them.
@@heidir90 girl I just had a baby in February and it’s crazy to me how many ppl had babies at around the same time and are doing cry it out !!! I could never 😭
This video is a blessing me.
Thank you sooooo much 💜
Can we please
I don’t want ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂🎉😢
Thank you so much for this video ❤❤, my 15 month old was waking up every 1-2 hours at night to feed it was so tiresome, I tried this Methode and we a co-sleeping, we are at night 5 and today he slept from 9:30 pm till 2 am woke up drank some water and went right back to sleep till 8:30 am 😊.
Thank you so so much
Thank you for actually showing footage of your method. Did you use the same method for resettling during the night if he woke up?
Hope it works and let me know how it goes ♡
I just want to say that the first night I tried this was very rough, but then just like she said my daughter fell asleep. It took about 3 days of doing this method for my daughter to learn to self soothe again and sleep all night!! 💕💕 thank you so much for sharing this with us
This video has been a life saver for us. Seeing how you repeatedly laid him down was helpful. We had to lay our daughter down for about 50 times the first night, but after that it has never taken more than 4 lay downs!
Did it work?
Kristin & Co. Good tip on the water! I’ll try it tonight. Thank you so much!
@@mcdanielmath Hi there, how did you go with the tip on giving the little one water? Did it work?
Yay!! I'm so happy to hear that! Now go get some sleep mama 💕
I'm so happy for you ! Well done . I'm going to try this one again . My sleep training has been interrupted as bubba had excema and my heart would allow me to let him sleep in his Moses basket or cot but I will get back on it .
I just want to say thank you.❤ This works so well with my 13 months old daughter and with my heart too. Thank you!!
Yay!! That's amazing. I'm so happy for you ♡
Thank you for sharing this. We have tried almost everything with my 9 month old. My fiancé and I are going to try this method!! 🤞🏼
Good luck and let me know how it goes! ♡
How did it go? I currently have a 9month old
Thanks for your helpful video.
I couldn't help but laugh when he was playing around 🤣 😂 very helpful tips 👍 👏 thank you .
Thanks!
And were you successful? :)
You're very welcome!
Thankyou soo much for this video
This video have helped my 10 month old son to fall asleep on his own amazingly. I just couldn’t believe my eyes ,cz we co-slept from his birth up until now. He even sleeps latching on to me and also kept waking multiple times ..so my days were quite rough without having proper sleep for 10 months straight..
I’m on my 3rd day of sleep training him and this had been a wonderful journey…I cannot express how grateful I am
The first day was rough…he cried for an hour ..the following days were much better
Thankyou for this helpful video❤
Keep up the amazing work
I'm so so glad to hear that! ♡♡♡
Thank you for the tips! I too couldn't handle the crying and screaming. I'm gonna try this!
Ah good luck! Let me know how it goes!
Good question! I'm curious of that too
Thanks for sharing 🙏 Is it still working for you?
New Mom here, super helpful as I’m trying to transition my 14month old. Thank you!
thank you so much! great explanation and thanks for showing how you do it! really useful to hear the background story because it was so similar to our situtation. so it gave me some hope and reassurance.
I'm so glad! Let me know how it goes for you or if anything comes up when trying the method out
I been obsessive watching these videos because I am sleep deprived.
If I try to put my daughter back down constantly she’ll think it’s a game then she’s back to wide awake😂… but very informative video!
I'm in the same boat with my 9 month old. Please update if it works.
How did it go for you?
Hi! Did you do it?
So so happy to have found this video, tried it tonight and grateful she self soothed to sleep,im absolutely grateful ❤
Oh my goodness this worked like a charm for my daughter who is eleven months old. Thankyou so much for this video💖
thank you for an actual video of the pick up put down method -- a lot of peopel hust talk about it. ty!
Thank you, really useful. the footage in the room especially.
Good! I'm so glad ♡
Okay, this is exactly my situation. Had a kid that was sleeping well, then all of his molars came in and he kept getting sick and we just chalked his bad sleep the last few months up to those reasons. We need to get him back to good sleep! Thanks for sharing!
I like this so much better than the cry it out I feel too bad letting her cry :(
I even tried the graduated extinction for 30 minutes and was like nahhh 😂
Good luck and yes! Let me know how it goes ❤❤
Did it work?
Thank you so much , I’m a grandma and my grand baby is so hyper and fights like crazy, it was good to see your babies routine
Hello this video is awesome I can’t wait to give it a try. Also where did you get that protection over the edges of the crib?
This is crazy. I saw this video like two or theee days ago. Immediately started with bed time doing this and moved to naps as well the following day. My daughter has been in our bed basically since she was two months old. Every nap on me. As she got older she would sleep in her crib for naps for 30-45 minutes and that’s all. This is like the second night of me really really following your method and my daughter has been asleep AT BEDTIME EVEN for over three hours. She’s a year old and this has NEVER happened. She has never slept solo for this long. It’s incredible.
All this to say- THANK YOI.
I'm so glad it's helping! Sleep is such a game changer 🙌
Good luck and let me know how it goes ♡
I don't support CIO or ferber method. Will surely try this one❤
Starts demonstrating at about 15 minute mark.
Y V thanks for that! Was looking and looking
Not true.
More like the 10 minute mark 🙂
Thank you so much for this video , my little girl is 11 months old and been rocked pretty much from birth. As you can imagine both me and dad have had 0 sleep especially since she has been getting up every hour or even half hour at night being unable to self soothe. We tried your method 3 days ago and we are in disbelief of how she has adjusted especially since the first time we tried sleep training she projectile vomited. If you haven’t got a book or a class already you need one- you are amazing. Thank you!
My 1st time trying this method. Is it ok if i give him a pacifier when sleeping? Thank you so much for the video.
Any updates? Did it finally work for you with baby sleeping through the night
@Jo N. I gave up after the 4th day. Ive got a VERY stubborn little boy. But I recently started again, putting him down sleepy and leaving the room and he has finally started falling alseep on his own thank goodness.
I have one that screams Everytime I put him in his crib even if I am in the room do you think this will help?
My daughter is exactly the same way. I wonder if this would work lol
@@sheigh493 I'm not sure I'm hoping to give it a shot
Sierra Mobley did you see she made a follow up video with q&a?? It was really helpful. I think we are going to try tonight!!!
Yes! After a few nights he will adjust to the new routine and should start to settle down easier
This method seems achievable for my 5 month old baby. So glad I came across this video! I ordered the book so fast 😂
Any updates?
6 minutes for just introductions are too much. Some people get bored then leave.
That's ok :)
I find it detailed and prefer these videos, for a desperate sleep deprived mom, these details help
Then don’t watch it? It’s not that hard, also your “constructive criticism” comes off bitchy ;)
Thank you so much Kristin for making this video! 🙏 I just tried this with my 15 month old. It worked it!! I set a timer and it took me 29 mins and 17 seconds.
