I’ve made this a few times ! Tonight was the best ! I always struggle because I’m feeding a family of 5 with this recipe so I need to double the amount and the first time I made it it was a bit of a disaster as the wok wasn’t big enough, and I don’t have your bum wok shake 😉😉 Now what I do is cook all the hot veg and Chicken and once it’s done , I add more oil , put in all the pre cooked noodles and the sauce and use my tongs to completely mix in the sauce and noodles and cook for about 4 mins then it’s just a case of putting all the other ingredients on top and again mix through with the tongs and transfer to another Dish! It was delicious : )

I am from Poland. From the city of Krakow. Tomorrow I will make this chicken CHOW MEIN and it will definitely be a delicious dinner. I love Asian cuisine and thanks for making videos so I can make something delicious with you. I will probably be moved to tears. My question is: can I add diced butternut squash to this dish? I have half a butternut squash left from once. Thanks for being here.🌹🌹🌹

This is by far the clearest and beautifully cooked Chicken Chow Mein. I came across several videos here in youtube and I saw few things in procedures which i don't agree. Lastly the veg and timing of putting or mixing them to ensure your mouth could feel their freshness - unlike those several others who would just anyhow throw in the veg and double or even triple kill them. Thank you so much and I look forward to watch your other great foods 💪😍👍

I just found your chanel, my second video after watching your soya Ramen recipe. I live in Vancouver, Canada and I worked all over Japan for 12 years and it's been several years since my last trip there. I miss the food so much. I've had a hard time finding recipes that captures the real flavors from cities like Yokohama, Kyoto, Chiba, and of course Tokyo. I'm looking for those real simple authentic rich taste to cook from scratch at home. Vancouver has large Asian communities and I'm lucky to have access to international ingredients. I look forward to trying out several of your recipes. I will comment back here after I do and let you know how I managed. My favorite foods were always the family owned little noodle shops down all the side streets. I became a regular at many of them, their atmosphere, friendliness and warmth they always showed me from day one made the experience of eating the food that much more delicious and memorable. I just loved your laugh after you shook the frying pan!! Too cute!!

+Seonkyoung Longest I tried already.. It was tasty but I put vinegar and baking soda in the chicken at the same time and it was bubbling too much and when I put it in the pan it was full of foam, it took more than a minute for all the bubbles to disappear. :)

I made this today and, 👏 it was so good my 6 year old who by the way doesn't eat chow mein at Chinese restaurants loved it. I also made the orange chicken and fried rice recipes from you. My whole family loved it. Thank you 😊

Thank you so much for the clear instructions! Especially the hint on how to use dry noodles.
I tried this out yesterday and we ended up making and eating it 2 days in a row. 🙈
So... I would call that a success. It is definitely a must-try recipe.
I changed the chicken up a little as I don't consume (nor cook with) alcohol and I didn't have chinese 5 spices (it is on my list now however!). Furthermore I added julienned bell peppers and carrots, which was a perfect addition to this recipe. Thanks again!

Hello! I love your videos and I watch them every Saturday morning to decide what we will cook that weekend. I hope you make more videos because it’s fun to see how someone does it rather than just read a recipe. Have a good day! ☀️💕🍲

Update: I just made it, and it turned out all right for my first try. One screw up I made though was that I used dried egg noodles and I let it sit in hot water a little too long. Will be careful next time around, but I highly recommend this recipe to anyone!

I really enjoy this recipe. I cannot stress enough for others to not skip the marinading of the chicken...it makes a big difference. Let your chicken marinade in that sauce and it is going to taste so good. if you wanna pre dice. pre cut your veggies ahead of time-this recipe really cooks fast.
