Not because I can't do it, but because I don't like burning through my gas like crazy. And the more I tow and gain experience, the wiser I'm becoming knowing what may be risky if something we're to go wrong.
I've been a truck driver for many years . I completely agree with everything you said. Some people just lack experience. That's where accidents and f ups happen. Keep safe my friend
Ram is pulling a Redwood 5th wheel. That is a big Heavy unit. Probably has a much bigger unit than the guy in the Ford. I am guessing the Ford guy has a small unit, and maybe a smaller trailer. LOL
Yes you’re right, all ford owners have small units. 😂
Lmfao
Small unit..
Your gay good for you .
Yeah that 5th wheel has 3 slide outs on the left side and more on the other. That unit is massive!
Some say that Ram is still struggling to hit 65 til this day
“See babe, this is why I spent $XXX on this brand new truck”
Like she doesn’t hear your shii teasing the redline.
As a ex ford guy, now I have a 2015 3500 ram, and I will not go back to ford never ever again 😝😝😝😝🤐
Same I have 5 fords, wanna know how many of them run? 0. lol blown engines and transmissions. Shredded every one of them. Once you buy dodge you never go back
@@jerrysickler522 The cummins is a great engine but the Transmission is Rubbish
@@ricardorodriguez-se7tp I always buy standards, dodge caught bad reputation with their 2nd and 3rd gen automatics, I’ve never had a single problem with their standards. I’ve had some drivers complain about them but I’ve also seen how they drive a standard and they eat shit at it. They suck at driving standard and it doesn’t matter what you put them in… they always burn a clutch out anyways. I’ve always bought standard whether it’s ford, dodge, Chevy, Toyota…. I’ve never had a problem. I’m not just talking about a Cummins. I’m talking about any dodge, jeep, Chrysler engine. Ford builds a decent small block platform engines, they’re great if you’re building a race car. But I’d never buy another ford engine again. I’ve had enough of them. They’re run trash especially nowadays. Hell the new even 6.7L powerstroke, trash. I don’t even like the 7.3l. The only ford diesel I like is the 6.9l from the 80’s. But I’d rather go a buy a dodge gasser and run a dodge gasser than deal with another ford/international diesel again. My 1980 dodge 3/4 ton with a 318 LA pulled better thnany of my ford power-strokes. My 318 runs around 285 horse and it pulled better. That’s sad. I’ve had a shit run with ford. I’ll never buy another. Hell I like chevy better. I’ll take a duramax over a powerstroke. Gimme a 4 cylinder cat. Gimme a Detroit, gimme anything but ford…. Yanmar, deutz-fahr, a 2.5 horse LG electric motor, a 1.0L v3 from a ‘98 geo metro. I can do more with that than a powerstroke… people think I’m joking when I say that but I’m serious. I can do more with those than I can with a powerstroke. I blow powerstrokes the fuck up, every time, I cannot destroy a dodge. I’ve tried. I am hard on vehicles… if it fits, it ships. This is why I use dodge. I cannot keep a ford alive. The longest lasted 8 months with me.
Had a 2nd gen after 180k of being a work truck pulling landscape trailer almost everyday o and plowed heavily since 01 finally needed a trans, got another 200kout the truck and got rid of it for 3rd gen, 250 needed new trans but that of heavy use, snow plowing beats trans up, so dodge all day
Ford's have a better chassis, only thing Dodge is the Cummins, if they did,nt have the engine you would have nothing, Ram tranny are junk so is the truck
"How did we only get 3 mpg for that last tank"
Talks shit meanwhile his truck sounded like it was about to blow up trying to pass. Weird flex but Ight 😂
This dude is pushing his truck while the ram is taking it easy
He is just cruising! Ram💪
Make sure you check your engine when done with that hill
He will help you once you break down in your FORD 😂
Ram pulling a house while your truck pulling a pop up camper ? And engine screaming!! 😂
Dude looks like he’s just mobbin slow, why does the ford sound so loud goin up the hill
His engine is revving high
Hard to tell from the video, but I imagine he has the 7.3 Godzilla Gas V8. Gas engines hold their power higher in the rev range, so when you're towing a large load they'll downshift to get more power.
Yeah maybe he does, that Godzilla motor is pretty damn cool.
Hahaha Tryna show he's jealous bc Rams are better these are Ford fan boys there so jealous Ram got the title
As your truck was winding out going up that hill, his truck was just chillin
Gasoline vehicles make peak torque at higher RPMs 4900-5500 while redlining at 6100 rpm's. So it sounds like its where it needs be to make peak torque.
@@anthonywheeler6133 i understand you are a pro but not in the slightest true. The 6.0 vortex you talk about peaks at 4k for torque. And 4400 for hp. Theres a reason a 5.9 cummins is used 100 times more than a 6.0 vortex .
@@mitchellbrown6709, it doesn't redline until 5,400 rpm's. Are you motherfuckers not able to read and comprehend what is being said.
My 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 was a piece of shit. And the 2006 Chevy 3500 that replaced it was better than the Dodge Ram 3500. Does it matter where they fucking peak, I can tell you I never had to redline it towing 10-15k pounds. I'm telling you the chevy I had was better than the DODGE RAM I had. Your opinion is yours.
@@mitchellbrown6709, it's not a VORTEX, it's VORTEC.
@@anthonywheeler6133 ok professor😂😂😂 grammar na_zi
I don’t think it’s struggling. He’s probably just driving the speed limit.
Guy in the Ram actually watching EGTs as the ford melts his motor down.
Hahaha. I’m sure the Ford was floored without a trailer trying to catch the Ram.
Lol, you could hear the high RPM’s 😂! I got a video dropping tomorrow, gonna trigger a few people 🫣
Did u not c the trailer on the ford
@@JB_WhoWork Please do lol 😆 🤣
The Ford is wound out in RPMs lol. Ram is just easing along like butter.
I had listen twice
I thought he said “that niggas struggling”😂😂
Passenger: He's not racing you...
You: Yeah he is, he blinked!!
I don't see a struggling truck. I see an intimidated driver.
Yea So do I
I see a fuel efficient driver. He's probably getting 33% better mileage(6mpg vs 8mpg) than if he were to go 10mph faster.
His laugh is pure Santa Claus. Straight up Ho-Ho-Ho
Yup sounds like a ford owner to me while the dodge is just taking a nice cruise enjoying his day 🤣
"That Ram is struggling" As the ford slowly eats its head gasket at 6000 rpm lol
(Guy in the ford) says haha this guy struggling is that a ram oh sh##t I just burn a half tank of gas trying to pass him listen to my truck raving to pass him lol
I was looking for someone else who noticed how hard the powerstroke was revving. Apparently the Ford guy loves buying diesel.
I love these guys, the last good diesel Ford had was the 7.3. Just go to your local truck pulls and see what's in the winner's circle. Hint: It ain't a Powerstroke!🤣
You mean the International 7.3?
@@chriscusick6890 Yes of course, just like Dodge doesn't produce the Cummins and like GM doesn't produce the Duramax, Isuzu does, but yeah.
I have a 2012 ram 3500 dually and can pull well over the speed limit however, some of the bumps are insane and chose to travel at a speed that won’t destroy my truck. Kudos that you can fly by me. I just don’t have the money to fix a mistake that I could have avoided to save 30 minutes.
He’s just playing guys chill😂
Plotwist: No ones in the truck with him. Family rather sit in the trailer.
Not legally
Meanwhile you can hear the motor in the SD screaming and he is barely catching up to the Ram. I hope he is towing something at least close to as heavy as what the Cummins is towing.
Ford guy turned into Santa 🎅 when he saw that Ram Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho is that a Ram 😂
That Ford is screaming trying to catch up 😂😂
U won't b laughing when that ram passes u broke down on the side of the road
He’s dogging that Ram, but that Ram has 450,000 miles so we’ll see what that superlooty does when it has that many miles!
Plus he slowed down to show that superlooty what a good truck looks like!! Lol
That ram wouldn't make it 450k miles. Especially not since fiat took Over. But good exaggeration buddy.
Dude’s running the piss out of the Ford going up hill laughing like Santa after a concussion while the Ram is taking it nice and easy. 🤔
Guarantee no struggle.
That laugh omg. I’m a ram guy but that was funny
Meanwhile your ford sounds like an original ford tractor pulling a plow at 3,000 RPM’s lol
That's a dually Ram just chilling he don't want to get his tranny hot 😂
Sounds like your wide open passing him

He is towing at recommended speeds 55 to 60 max for the trailer tires, smart guy
Ford sucks
That is how to keep transmissions from blowing up pulling 5th wheels.
Not struggling at all!! This guy is hilarious lol😂
The guy in the ram is not in a rush and saving the life of his engine u like you
Lol that could totally be me farting around in the slow lane. 🤷♂️
😂
Slow Ram
@@Vlogvids937 that Ram is towing properly by taking his time. Towing isn’t how fast you can run it is about taking your time and towing efficiently
He's using common sense like any good driver towing something would do...
He’s like the guys in the Chargers who races everyone without telling them that it’s a race
Kid trying to warn his dad thr FORD just cought fire and is about to explode ! Lol
Well it is a dodge but my guess is he's probably just driving the speed limit.
He found the HD ram that hasn't broken in half yet... What does he win? 🤣
"I feel like we should help them"
I snorted lololol
Yeah struggling SMH, he seemed pretty relaxed. Good on ya for your little petter energy!
As a senior, I never push my truck to pull my trailer fast. I doubt he was struggling. From the engine noise in your truck, I would suggest you check your temp gauge.
LOL😊
