I have had the Boss GT 100 for just about a year now. I upgraded from the GT 10. It has not disappointed. It is AWESOME!! In my humble opinion. Super flexible and real easy to use. Love the dual screen LCD. Preamps and effects all sound great to me. I've been playing for 26 years now, and have used lots of different gear. The GT 100 makes everyday like christmas. Just about any guitar tone I hear on the radio, I can recreate with relative ease.
I've owned dozens of multi effects processors and for me the ME80 really impressed me. Same Boss great effects as the GT100 or other Boss processors, but if you like playing guitar instead of programming presets, scrolling screens and twisting knobs it's a great tool.
@@globestudio111 Hi, my stomp boxes don't need scrolling, programming and having knobs twisted 😁 I love playing my Les Paul's, I've been gigging for decades and seldom need to reset anything, add to that a decent valve amp and I've never gone wrong except perhaps small EQ tweaks on the amps depending on venues. Best wishes, 🎸🎶🎤
@@Wooburnmusic that's true no doubt and I've been the same but now that modelling tech has reached a point of really sweet tube tube amp tone and the latest headrush pedal board unit is great !
@@AuntAlnico4 well, you've just got to hope that what you set up at home sounds good onstage as well otherwise you end up tweaking on the fly, and that's always a frustration, I once had a good Yamaha unit, and yes it was good but in the end I wore the white markers off of the buttons thru so much tweaking, I went to Boss pedals and never looked back. Still, whatever gives you the sounds, stay with it. 😁 Best wishes, Rick, 🎸🎶🎤
I cannot stand my GT 100. I had a digitech GNX3000 and it has been my overall favorite since the first time I plugged it in. Digitech has more versatility IMO
Real great mfx. I like a lot the possibility to directly choose one of 10 presets in a bank. But you have to create your own presets, the factory patches are 95% weak.
The only thing beyond dumb with these processors are the 50 different versions of the same effect that supposed to mimic certain brands. I wish they concentrated on quality versus quantity
Gee sus how people fall for this propaganda, my five boss stomp boxes and Morley vol pedal have and continues to give a quality that I will never be without,35 years of gigging and not a problem in sight.
I think one feature they should all have is a way to standardize all preset banks to roughly the same volumes. I preset mine for any given tune and hit on another bank for a different song and it is too loud or too quiet. Just a thought.
the older boost units are cool too,I got a gt 8 that's quite old compared to your man's gt100, but it has the best overdrives I've heard on a muilt fx processer. I use it in an a/b loop with my actual pedal board..wha,fuzz factory, eau claire thunder etc..can't see me using anything else!
I've been playing gigs with my GT-8 for ten or more years. I am looking to "upgrade" but I don't find myself hating anything about it. I don't think as I am playing "Hmmm... I hate this sound, i need to get .... ______" the GT-100 is now three generations past MY GT-8. (It's four generations past yours.) Maybe a trip to my local guitar Center and sitting down with one may be eye opening.
Conclusion: quiero volver a la boss multiefecto.
