@@dr.gaosclassroom The images resonate well with me. I am familiar with shimmering rivers in the late afternoon and on a few occasions mountainsides in full bloom. Our rivers don't become jade green though!!
Swallows going back and forth collecting mud for their nests is also a familiar sight and sound. Unfortunately we don't get mandarin ducks!!

It is quite interesting that you don't have mandarin ducks. We have some in a nearby park here.
