  • The hike to Mount LamLam climbs through ridges covered by swordgrass while having consistent outstanding views leading up to the 1,332 foot summit, which is the highest point on Guam. The optional side trip to Mount Jumullong (Guam's 2nd highest point) contains additional great views. The hiking route is about 3.5 miles RT with a little over 1,000 ft. of elevation gain (to do both summits). Challenges include dealing with often slippery and muddy conditions, overgrown swordgrass which can cut skin, and some route-finding on the upper section. Part 2 of 6 of our video series Hiking Guam. Filmed on June 9, 2024 during our family trip to Micronesia.
