There's definitely some debate on how truly ancient it is but its still about as close as you can get to Mesozoic forests in the modern day. Australia's rainforests are a tad overrated as far as age IMO, though they do still hold their fair share of ancient lineages.

Petronas is the pride of malaysia. One of the most profitable oil company in the world.
As someone who's been living in a rainforest (Borneo, Indonesia) my entire life, I can attest to the fact that biodiversity here is incredible. Place a wooden board flat on the ground outside for a few days, and when you flip it, you'll find an entire ecosystem thriving below that board. I swear to God sometimes I feel like this place is hell due to the temperature, humidity, and the bugs.
Welcome to Sabah, Borneo! Thanks for sharing & making vlog about imbak canyon, please & come visit our island near Semporna, hiking the Mount Kinabalu. Have a great time bro! Everyday is Holiday 🌴
But pls inform mp apdal to clean up semporna and mabul as it breaks my heart as a local.
Wow imbak canyon center of Sabah. Thank you for visiting Sabah North Borneo bro
Went to Brunei, the actual Hearts of Borneo with jungle as old as the earth. Only Brunei and Sabah the only countries that will protect the jungle.
Brunei or Sarawak?
Im from Brunei, our only capital city might not be developed however we still keep our Forest Reserve the ones in temburong and belait un-urbanised and un-touched but guarded
Love it! Definitely on the list
Amazing videography, I would love to just travel and explore the world 🙌🏽
Thank you 😁
im a sarawakian and during gawai, me and my family would go back to our longhouse or either go to our relatives that lives in rural areas. and it was nice tbh. even though im the "city"person type, but sometimes i do enjoy everything there 😂 its cold, calming and peaceful. even when sleeping, i dont use blanket a lot bc at night it's super cold compared to city areas. the best part is when we shower at waterfall ❤️ i hope more ppl know borneo is indeed a hidden treasure
after exploring imbak canyon you should try the Maliau Basin tour.. I'm sure you won't regret it 😉
Maliau Basin ...the lost world 👍🏻👍🏻

Was feeling the same way. So grateful to have had this opportunity.
This video is in Malaysia part of Borneo. Had nothing to do with Indonesia.
Great video! I love the documentary feel of it as well as the music. God's creation never gets old.. Beautiful!

The honey from those stingless bees are very expensive
In malay those bees are called Kelulut
Their honey is medicinal

You should visit Biogradska Gora in Montenegro. One of the last pre-historic rain forests in Europe.
How old?
Loved this! You’re the gold standard!
What?! He gives away all the secrets! He’s ruining the allure of the islands. The guy has a monetary incentive to do so. He’s a snake, though. Couldn’t just buy property in Bali that had already been developed with a home on it, for example. Had to buy undeveloped property and build his “dream home” on it. Needed a well. Just another narcissist that portrays himself as a do gooder, but really just a total snake that doesn’t care.
I loved your vlog but i want you to explore the The Sahyadri moutain range in India. Which looks like heaven on earth in mansoon. Visit Kulu waterfall in Mansoon. ❤😊
Thank you for taking us with you on your amazing adventure :)
Forest adventures are the best..
I love your content and most importantly bali.
Thank ya!
Welcome to Borneo, there is so much more to explore, just scratching the surface of the Jungle...all the best 😊
Murtabak, roti canai Are malaysian food. Not indonesian. Bakso and lumpiah are chinese mainland food.
too much talk .. roti canai is from india not malaysia even canai is from indian city called chennai .
@naufal amanullah indian consume paratha. That is why singapore does not have roti canai. It is different. Do not educate me about indian food eg dossai, chapati, paratha, vade, idli etc etc. Roti canai is malaysian. It is not roti paratha. The world's no 1 and no 2 street food uses our flag. Not indian flag. And in China we can find bakso and lumpiah(called popiah in chinese) it is our Chinese food which in Malaysia we never claim. Because we know it is Chinese food from mainland.
@naufal amanullah ask Indonesians why roti canai in Malaysia taste better. Because it originates from here. Not in Indonesia.
@@keangwooichoo6138 bakso and lumpia in indonesia is different with the mainland in china , so do not educate me too about chinese food . bakso and lumpia in the list of food uses indonesian flag not chinese flag . ur too much talk. meh
@@keangwooichoo6138 indonesian never claim roti canai 😂😂😂🤣🤣, why u said doesnt taste good in indonesia? i said india even u dont know the different of two country .
I’ve seen one clip of a forest in Asia where it was raining and it looked like a different world. Since then Asian forest have seemed so mysterious to me!
