If you know what you're doing it's pretty simple, it's just trial and error with your pipe work and figuring out the best way to get to where you want to be
Never new garret came out with a "GD" line 😂, had to put adam LZ's video on pause to check this sweet build out. Tell him to look into a mavn mount for the turbo! Alot of the crazy promod cars with the turbos mounted up by the front grill run them and they work awesome.
I was going to do something like that, but the engine mounts have some slight movement in them, and they are all engine plated chassis cars using those, so wouldn’t work. I’ll weld a bolt to the flange and tie it back in to the engine with a support arm to help with the weight. 👍🏻
While I'm not a huge fan of Rotaries I do love the shape of this beast. Which brings me to my other thing. You guys should be doing build bios more often. I enjoy seeing others doing what they can to go fast and look good!

Would love to just do this all day everyday, but we’d have to be getting millions of views per video for the ad revenue to make it feasible. The guys that pump out build cars do nothing else but build cars for content. Thanks mate, but in Australia we speak the Queen’s English. The word “schedule” can be somewhat confusing, even for native speakers. The reason is that it is pronounced differently in the UK and in the US. In the UK, the prevalent pronunciation is /ˈʃɛdjuːl/ (shed-yool), while the prevalent pronunciation in the US is /ˈskɛdʒuːl/ (skedzh-ool).
I ceramic coated all the exhaust stuff in the 626. Personally, I don’t think it made a lot of difference. The exhaust housing is again, but will also have a turbo beanie and heat shielding to keep heat in for the manifold. Air is the best insulation, so creating an air gap between the manifold and the heat shield will stop a lot of heat (same type of material OE manufactures use).

Bevel your stainless manifold schd sections! I’m sure you’ve heard about purging too, that’s up to you. You also need to turn your amps DOWN and lower your travel speed way down, this will give you adequate heat and gas coverage. Stainless doesn’t like high heat and fast travel speed. I have driven a touareg, a y62 patrol, a 200 series, and a Ford Everest and they are all shit in some way. Will drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT in the next week and see how we go ! Going to need it soon that’s for sure.

No, offset is +/-. Backspacing is the inside space from the lip to the mounting face.

Hi guys, i hope you get the exhaust headers jet heat / ceramic coated, that way all the temp is taken away from the turbo and engine bay. :)

Cabin has to be sealed to pass IHRA.
imo, your better off using steel pipe fitting. stainless steel expands and contracts a lot.
id be curious why the turbo manifold does not have some other form of bracing... there is ALOT of weight haning off those two runners

Just manifold studs. Will be able to find them at a nut and bolt retailer or an exhaust shop.
