Broomy has just done his first full passes in the car with a best of 9.09 at 157mph.
So glad to see money being invested in this track and FullBoost giving plenty of coverage, they deserve support and success. I can still remember the jet trucks running here! 👍

Not sure about spark plugs, but you definitely need some earplugs whilst running that thing!
This guy looked heaps like Broomy but he didn't have a cap on backwards.

I'd really like to see what this thing can do with either a higher stall converter, more 2 step boost, or a much better launch, because I know the 13b can really make some impressive numbers on the 1/4 mile board. I'm still absolutely baffled at how a Felix Wankel Rotary engine can make so much horsepower out of a claimed 1.3L engine (technically a 2.6L due to 2 rotors). Still, they outclass modern piston engines in almost every category when installed into the correct chassis.
It's not 2.6 due to 2 rotors mate.
@@sexyfacenation he's sort of half right. These were treated as 2.6l in some racing events etc because of how they fire .

That shifter would do my head in. I seen ya go straight to 3rd. How will ya stop that when you're going fast? The old B&M can be slammed as hard as ya like.
I use to have a pro stick and you hold the shifter basically and move it forward. I think what I did was grip the whole shifter and the lever and then pushed it forward and it just went through the gate because I was holding the lever. Just need to get use to almost smacking it with an open palm instead and it will be fine.

Its ‘best’ pass went 110 to half track, but every run was not clean.

At least it didn't blow up..

@@sexyfacenation Drag radials always runs around 10psi for better traction. They seem to be running higher than this.
