I thought origins was criminally underrated and I thought it was amazing I liked the story of the young batman and how he came to be and it has the best character designs. I would love to see a remaster with new graphics and improved gameplay.
Its because at launch this game was a catastrophic mess with bugs out the ass
The graphics and gameplay were fine already, I feel like having the Joker be the main villain was maybe a bit boring and not having Kevin as Batman sucked but it was understandable why.
@@SolProxy agreed with Kevin not being the voice actor. To me the joker doesn’t get boring even though he is in many of the games in Origins I feel like he was well portrayed but I understand where your coming from
@@SolProxy I do not agree at all as The Joker is never boring and I especially disagree with the voice actor like dang Kevin can voice acting every Batman game besides this Batman have to be young. And I love this voice actor. He puts a lot of brutal aggression when he’s frustrated and and talks so main heroically like Captain America.
@@kingbeast4914 He isn't bad but Conroy set the bar too high, the only other Batman voice I like is the one from some of the animated stuff like Justice League: Dark. And The Joker isn't boring, him being the antagonist of basically every Arkham game is.
One of the greatest cinematic trailers ever, just sad to think that somewhere in the multiverse people are watching the live action version of this in the Batfleck Movie.

Even though this game was the buggiest of all Arkham games, it still had the best story. That Joker reveal was amazing back then when you had no idea Joker was going to be in the game.
Only on pc, but to be fair so was Arkham Knight. In fact it was even worse to the point where they took it off of Steam for more than a year. It was damn near a PS4 exclusive at that point. But yeah the story in Origins is hands down the best. The writing and dialogue and the way it was directed made it look like a movie while the other games (except Knight) felt more like a cartoon.
I remember getting goosebumps watch this for the first time.

This game gets so many hate. I don't know why. Best Wanted missions. Best Duel fighting. Best encounter dialogue with Batman. Best use of Batman's detective skills. I mean why.
I think the boss fights were very repetitive, especially Deathstroke and Shiva. The city itself was also very cluttered, which isnt bad but it didnt make navigating more difficult, which can be good and bad. I think also being a prequel theres not much reason why Batman didnt keep the electro gloves, even if he gave rhem to the GCPD, why he didnt innovate his own.
Still a fantastic game dont get me wrong, the origins of villains, and thr overall story were great
It was a buggy, glitchy mess. The combat was broken thanks to the shock gloves. The map was a copy paste of Arkham City. The Deathstroke fight was too early and repetitive. It was ultimately a cash grab to hold over till Arkham Knight.
If this game was remastered in 2022, I would play it fo sho.

Arkham origins is connected to the rocksteady trilogy. When you play arkham knight deathstroke and firefly talk about the events in origins. Gotham knights isn't connected to the arkham universe but the suicide squad game is.

@@hhddeybtctvtvtv2224 rehashed maps, very few new mechanics, terrible online mode, joker felt forced into the story like Arkham knight, and many wasted opportunities like lady Shiva. Great boss fights though.
