Lastly (get it: The Last Dance? Stupid reference I know. Haha) keep up the good work God bless you and your family and friends, I had a lot of fun watching this and trust me, I really needed a last laugh.
The craziest part of the Kraven movie is that the entire life of Madam Web, from first trailer to digital release, came out in between the first two trailers.
Love your videos. Also love Star Trek the most. Would you consider doing a video on the Star Trek Discovery Coda? Not the entire finale, but just on the final 20 minutes of that series. Thanks again for everything!
To suggest that KF wasn't fully aware and on board with Venom left behind is ludicrous. It's fully possible that Venom was "shedding" which is why he left it behind in the MCU and he could have left some behind in the Venomverse too.
They could skirt the Chiwetel issue by only referring to his Venom character as ‘Karl’. No last name, no title, no allusion to sorcery. This would give Sony plausible deniability and let the audience make the connection themselves.
So perhaps they've seen the new resurgence of love for Andrew Garfield's Spidey, then saw the same happen with Hayden in Star Wars so they said lets do it, make it all around that Spider-Man?
I don't have any in-depth knowledge of how all of this works, but I have a hard time believing Fiege didn't see NWH before it was released. Like, how could Sony have tricked him with that post credit scene?
19:45 I know the goo makes no sense being in Venom's universe, since we saw it left in the MCU. It is possible Venom left behind goo in the MCU and then in the Venom universe right after he was sent back. But to explain the bartender, (if the good actually made sense) I think it could be the same dude. But witnessing Eddie vanish in thin air could've freaked him out. Stack that on top of the decimation, and that dude may have fully *snapped*. Mentally I mean. So it's possible he got so bad at his job that he was replaced. And now he spends all his time at the bar. But also kind of weird that he'd sit right where he saw a dude disappear.
I think some of the issue with what looks like "tease for tease sake" is that Phase One MCU post credits scenes were that, but they just caught lightning in a bottle. There wasn't really a plan. They did Sam Jackson as Fury in Iron Man as a nod to the Ultimate Comics depiction. It looks like a master plan now because the movies were made well and succeded. If these Sony movies were better, we would probably be looking at a "master plan" to a Sinister Six movie, but as it is, they don't have enough momentum to get there
I heard a rumor when Venom 3 was announced that it would dive a little into the multiverse. If that's true it could explain the confusion presented in the trailer.
I like the theory that The Venom movies take place in the 90s, but I'm pretty sure they hinted at it being around 2018-2020 in both movies. Andy Serkis even said the prologue of LTBC (which happened in 1996) took place 25 years prior to the events of the film.
I am excited for the movie and the direction I think that Sony is going. It feels like Sony said are we gonna sale or take a shot at this. I think they're taking a shot to clean it up and continue forward. Let's hope.
No te pierdas means “don't be a stranger”, or “keep in touch, which is a common phrase to say goodbye, which translates literally into “don't get lost.” No te ((la)) pierdes would mean don't miss out on the movie: “No te pierdas la peli” - don't miss (out on) the movie.
The end of the last Indiana Jones movie was set in Syracuse, Sicily. With the Romans siegeing the city. It was a Greek colony city, but was part of Rome after. Archimedes designed defenses like catapults to defend the city, but was killed when it was captured despite the Roman general ordering he be spared
People are confused about the same actors playing different parts, but they forget that Aaron Taylor Johnson is in the upcoming Kraven film by Sony. Now he has already appeared in the MCU, as a completely different character.
Remember those two (or maybe more) scenes of the two "FBI" people standing in a room filled with screens inspecting where and what Eddie is doing? Well I kept thinking that (although his face wasn't shown) one of the men seemed very familiar, I checked the credits for the movie and Reid Scott was credited (Dr Dan Lewis from Venom 1 & 2) even though he wasn't in the third movie. I suspect that Dr Dan Lewis is one of the mystery men, maybe I'm reaching.
Do you think maybe, the symbiote in the trailer is a completely different symbiote than the one from the post credit scene? I would think of it as being the first one sent out to earth to the last known location of venom when he blipped,
Even if this actually is the last Venom movie, that doesn't mean that he can't be in like a billion teamup movies, or as a cameo role. Look at Iron Man. The final movie was directly after the first Avengers movie, but Tony was still around for like a hundred movies after that.
I agree, Ryan. Sony needs to grow a pair and do something, like they have with the Spiderverse, that will turn everything upside down while still drawing us into the characters and their struggles. Good storytelling will sell itself🤷♂️
Colton has encyclopedic knowledge of not only the comics, but also the movies, and also the underlying "politics" of all things Comic books. What a boss.

Then it says present day (I went back and looked and it doesn't say 25 years) but still it would have been at least 20 years from their age differences from the past to the present....idk I wanna know why Conners is in the van
Im ready for Sony to sell the rights already 🤣
I liked Venom 2 let there be carnage I don’t care what people say but Venom 3 the last dance will be better.
I always assumed the hive mind Venom was referring to was Knull. Hmm
This was some incredible coverage of the We Are Venom Franchise. Also, missed half of the Easter Eggs, especially Connor’s with two arms and I watched the trailer twice. Also wanted to suggest that you get Little Caesar’s after hearing your guy bring it up because I’m hungry for it now. I’m actually getting ready to pick some up now for that mater. Also, I don’t care that he’s not an actor, he can legit-ly play a live action Peter Griffin, he sounded so good with the impersonation plus he’s for the people which qualifies him for a family type of guy.
It's so good to have this channel for breaking down the "Think This Has Something to Do With Spider-man" universe 👏
Now that Madame Webb is out, I'm less afraid to say I enjoyed Morbius haha
Honestly it would make total sense for the personality as well because Peter was a vital part of Connor’s character in the TASM movies
Excellent video, and I agree with Ryan - the April fools video about Madame Web was one of my favorites!
Spider-Man bonding with the piece left behind will break Doctor Strange’s spell
Yessir
They could skirt the Chiwetel issue by only referring to his Venom character as ‘Karl’. No last name, no title, no allusion to sorcery. This would give Sony plausible deniability and let the audience make the connection themselves.
So perhaps they've seen the new resurgence of love for Andrew Garfield's Spidey, then saw the same happen with Hayden in Star Wars so they said lets do it, make it all around that Spider-Man?
Pea….Tear….*griffin flies by* Griffin!
"this is going to sell the video" bro tommy you missed the punch on that joke mad hard. The delivery was just off HAHAHA
felt like Tommy Bechtold was gonna go into a Tim Dillon style Venom rant, felt the vibes a little bit
Great watch. Bonus points for the venture bros clip.
This looks like so much fun! I love the warmer color!
Tommy when mia from breakroom good to see him on my fav breakdown channel ❤
So does this mean venom is never going to be in another movie, or the venom movies are done, but he will be in other movies like the Spiderman ones?
Who knows because marvel and sony are not in sync
I reckon hes the same bartender whos just having a drink after it had closed and so hes sat on the other side
Same clothes and just has his hair down instead of tied back. I think he's wracking his brain on what he's just seen and seeing.
Not only Chiwetel Ejiofor plays Mordo in the MCU, but also Russel Crowe is playing Kraven's father in that movie. Russel Crowe is Zeus in the MCU.
If i had a Symbiote i would choose Carnage.(Who would you choose?)
Venom actually
I like venom more than carnage
@@lkayde1996 he was really cool, but i actually think riot is the best. I forgot about him earlier, but I know choose riot
I like the theory that The Venom movies take place in the 90s, but I'm pretty sure they hinted at it being around 2018-2020 in both movies. Andy Serkis even said the prologue of LTBC (which happened in 1996) took place 25 years prior to the events of the film.
I think the foundation is going to make symbiote soldier similar to agent venom.
The bar scene is probably not even in Venom 3. Just marketing from Sony
I am excited for the movie and the direction I think that Sony is going. It feels like Sony said are we gonna sale or take a shot at this. I think they're taking a shot to clean it up and continue forward. Let's hope.
I like how Colton took out his earpiece to continue the gag that he doesn't know he's in a TV 😂
No te pierdas means “don't be a stranger”, or “keep in touch, which is a common phrase to say goodbye, which translates literally into “don't get lost.”
No te ((la)) pierdes would mean don't miss out on the movie: “No te pierdas la peli” - don't miss (out on) the movie.
11:11 never noticed how much this character looks like Negan from the Walking Dead Sereis
I loved how goofy that We are Venom part was
People are confused about the same actors playing different parts, but they forget that Aaron Taylor Johnson is in the upcoming Kraven film by Sony. Now he has already appeared in the MCU, as a completely different character.
Behold the Bechtold! I'm here for it!
THANK YOU RYAN!
All my friends were getting mad about Christo playing the bartender and I’ve been saying he was a variant!
Do you think maybe, the symbiote in the trailer is a completely different symbiote than the one from the post credit scene? I would think of it as being the first one sent out to earth to the last known location of venom when he blipped,
Mordo is a soldier now! Being a wizard must not have been paying the bills! Haha
that "no te pierdas" means don't get lost. now, it could mean don't miss out only if it has something else below it.
In this movie i believe Kurt Connors Lizard is a variant from the Cheech and Chong universe
Even if this actually is the last Venom movie, that doesn't mean that he can't be in like a billion teamup movies, or as a cameo role. Look at Iron Man. The final movie was directly after the first Avengers movie, but Tony was still around for like a hundred movies after that.
In checking IMDB, Chiwetel Ejiofor (among others) doesn’t have a character name.
I so want it to be Karl Mordo, even if it’s never mentioned.
I agree, Ryan. Sony needs to grow a pair and do something, like they have with the Spiderverse, that will turn everything upside down while still drawing us into the characters and their struggles. Good storytelling will sell itself🤷♂️
That tommy pitch for a sceen crush short film was great
Colton has encyclopedic knowledge of not only the comics, but also the movies, and also the underlying "politics" of all things Comic books.
What a boss.
You're too kind
Feels like a movie breakdown rather than a trailer breakdown
