Imagine this…
You’re in a job interview doing your best to make a positive impression to land your dream job.
Everything seems to be going well so far, and now it’s time for the interview to come to a close.
But here’s the question most people have at this point.
How exactly are you supposed to end the interview and make a lasting impression?
Obviously, you’re excited, but you don’t want to sound too desperate for the job.
But at the same time, you don’t want to appear as if you’re indifferent to whether you get the job or not.
And of course, one wrong move can totally cost you your dream job.
So in this video, I’m going to show you step-by-step how you can close out your job interview, make a positive impression on your potential employer, and stand out from the rest of the crowd.

Hey Patrick, can confirm I used that question about asking the employer about hesitations for an interview and it definitely helped in me getting the job offer faster I think.
I think it's a powerful question and really shows the power of being direct. I would go so far as to say this was one of the differences between getting a rejection from my last interview and an offer for this.
Big appreciation for the videos you have put out! Keep up the work. I think these videos could blow up.
Appreciate the support and I'm glad these videos are helping.
Hey Patrick, I used this question during my interview process and I could tell the interviewers were impressed by the closing mentality. Received the offer today! Keep up the great work!
That's great to hear Chris. Glad the videos are helpful for you;.
this is gold! Thank you! I have a SDR interview tomorrow, wish me luck!
I hope it went well!
We will never know
Patrick-I love this! My favorite tip was ..."Do you have everything you need to know to make me an offer today"? I keep getting to the final stages of interviews and they always pick someone else. I believe with this tip on my final interview tomorrow, they will pick me! Thanks so much! :)
Gold mine. this video
Thanks for this dude!! Interviewing at dream job tomorrow and this helped a lot!! I wonder if I'll ask them at the end whether or not they're ready to hire me on the spot....seems ballsy af 🤣
How did it go??
Pat, your videos are awesome! Thanks for everything!
Such a great perspective. Thank you for this!
Thanks for the video patrick.
I can't thank you enough for this video. I don't always comment on UA-cam but this is worth the praise 👏 🙌
You’re the man, Patrick!
Thanks for this one Patrick! Will use this moving forward with my interviewing process!
I will have my interview in less then a hour. Thanks for all the tipps.
Great instruction, thank you
I would like to see more interview question videos. The most useful part is you give examples and explainations.
Watching your videos about interviews has really changed my perspective in approaching them. Thank you for sharing all these wonderful tips online.
Great tip! Thanks!
Yes Patrick Dang,
This is more than Gold. I have watched literally all your videos. You are really a role model for tech sales in particular & sales in general. I tried enrolling in Ur course but feel I need some discounts.
Thanks for the the amazing content on UA-cam
I have a sales interview tomorrow and your videos are helping me so much! Thanks my man!
That's great, bro, thanks. Might be a game changer for me
Your channel is changing my life
gold! new subie hihi cant stop watching your vids! you deserve more subs and likes
Appreciate that :)
Thank you!
Love your channel! Thank you!!!
Thanks!
Hey Patrick
Your all videos were amazing 🤩. There were so many things to learn. I am impressed with your voice tonality and objections handling techniques. I am also trying to apply all your in sales role. Which have been giving me more positive results.
I would be great if you make some video over the CRMS, Praposal Writing, and How to give product presentation.l?
If I could super like this video I would. I am currently in the process of waiting to be flown out to an in person interview and your videos have shown me some great insights. I just want to say thank you for sharing your knowledge on the subject and taking your time to make these videos.
Glad you enjoyed the video and best of luck on your interview!
I have a second interview tmr! hopefully I get the job haha this video was very insightful and I will be using this when the interview is closing
This was really helpful! Thank you!
Thanks Karla.
Patrick! Thank you for your wonderful content. I used the close method at the end of my first interview today, and you could tell sales manager was really impressed. He said I should hear back from him by Monday afternoon! I’ll keep you guys posted!
Thanks great to hear. Congrats!
Thank you, I found the overcoming the lack of sales experience response a good one... definitely communicating willingness to learn and speaking honestly about your past and being able to do the job by persuasion and skills. Potential matters
Yep, couldn't agree more. Thanks for watching.
Patrick! Big thanks my man, just got done with my phone interview for an AE role at a tech company, and going for the close at the end definitely sealed the deal. Got my second interview next week!
Congratulations!!
is it AWS?
3:36 Patrick said “If there ARE any hesitations” but the caption says “AREN ‘T” - an obvious typo, but it brings up an interesting point. By asking if there are hesitations if they say yes you can address them on the spot and if they no you can say “Great! Can I start tomorrow?” It worked for me at my second most successful career in software sales.
Great videos Patrick! Have you heard of the Sandler Sales System? Not Adam Sandler. Lol
I'm trying to making a career change to tech sales and I have my first interview next week. Your content has been a tremendous help in learning about the industry and preparing myself. This one is just pure gold and can't wait to use this!!
Best of luck. Let me know how the interview goes.
@@patrickdang Thanks Patrick, I'll be sure to update :)
@@samuelengelking2352 update?!?
@@WhoIsJC7 I got the job!! :) This channel was basically school for me. Shout out to @patrickdang
@@samuelengelking2352 congrats!
Amazing
Great tips! I will try it in my next interview :)
Thanks. Best of luck!
This video is great. I'm looking to move to the US as a Program Manager in the Electronic Manufacturing Industry and I need VISA Sponsorship so I need to be the best candidate for a lot and these tips will be very helpful to achieve it. My interview is the next week, I'll let you know about my process.
loving your videos! Such great content. I would love to see more videos about how to succeed as a new BDR/SDR....how to structure your days....how to find ways to improve rapidly (as someone who has never worked in tech sales before)
I have a lot of recent videos about this topic you can check out! Thanks for watching.
Not a single dislike... Wow, I'm a believer!
haha i do my best!
Hi anh Patrick! Thank you so much for your sharing! I got my dream job at Pinterest as a Partner Manager. I really appreciate it.
That's great to hear, congratulations Nhi!
Great way to close! I've always struggled in this part of the interview. Could you add captions to your role-playing videos in the future?
I believe there are already captions on this video
I’m going to get this job. I will get this job. I am the JOB. Haha.
Loved the video
this that good good
Awesome video Patrick, thank you. Was wondering if I would use this in a first round phone screen when I know there are two more rounds needed before an offer can be extended?
(the part where you ask for the offer)
If you're in your first interview, you would just be asking if you are going to make it to the second interview. You wouldn't ask for the offer yet because you have to work through their screenings first.
More interview video’s
Dang Patrick
I am TERRIFIED to do this 🤣. But I am going to do a modified version of it and especially do the ending.
what is the name of this haircut?
So your first sale is getting the job basically 🤣
background music is a little excessive
I just got offers by 3 diiferent companies, trying to decide which one to take. I know this method here wouldn't work for everyone. I personally do not speak this way, speak the way YOU speak, and pretend youre talking to your best friend.
I always say, be confident and do not say UM UH UM UH don't be verbose, too many young millenials are VERBOSE and not PRECISE when speaking. You can take this kids advice, but beware....this probably won't work, unless the interviewer is a 22 year old.
Hi Patrick, I am preparing for my SDR interview. I came across to watch your video on UA-cam. I just want to say thank you no matter if I will get my job offer or not. Your videos really help me a lot when I was frustrated to prepare for my interview. Thanks! Best, Shuang
Great to hear. Wishing you the best
