I have always loved Bossa Nova and Samba music, even as a guy from the UK, I always had a fascination with Rio from being a young teenager and was lucky to visit about 7 years ago. Never had any issues whilst I was there, much friendlier than Stockholm or Malmo, I found Swedish people far more reserved than Brazillians in general even if Brazil is more unsafe, having said that Sweden is having issues with crime at the moment.
