This game is amazing, by watching vids I thought the same as some people here "doesn't look as fun/good" but once you play it it's on a whole new level, the problem with this video is this guy is spamming 1 button lol... that's why it looks so bland and boring too.

Literally broke out a sweat with this one and it's only the 1st boss. Great times are a-coming!
This person needs to parry more and spam the light attack a little less. It's so much easier and quicker if you parry.
This was my first boss in the game, and at that point I hadn't dominated the parry mechanic yet. Such a hard fight!
By far my favorite boss
I did not know you could use focus to slow your enemies down
David John took me a while to figure that out aswell
Yesterday, February 26 2022, I killed Valraven and never knew about slowing enemies down... I'm glad I didn't cuz it was a really fun fight

IMHO this is what the monster fights in the witcher should have been like. They should collaborate with the developers - it would be the greatest game
The fighting mechanics look a little choppy, but the visuals and voices have me intrigued.

I don't really like the combat style either. But you can see that they didn't make this with the intent to have a great combat style, I think it they focused much more on the story.

no it is really great combat. Play by yourself or going to gamestore to play demo if there is. You will absolutely love it.
It doesn't look great, but it actually feels really meaty and satisfying.
This Boss seems to be styled on Eileen the Crow.

Nate River it's not supposed to be like a dark soles game it's not even really meant to be a game, it's a story like heavenly sword you play through it to see where it leads

But heavenly sword was fun at times. This doesn't excuse the fact the boss uses the same attack pattern for the whole duration of the fight. It doesn't need to be dark souls true but it doesn't excuse poor gameplay.

Wrought Bedpan she's supposed to have this mental condition called psychosis, where the one that is effected interprets their world completely different than those anchored in reality. So basically everything that she's seeing may or may not be real
Well the voices help you in combat don't they?
