when they tell you to focus, you can actually focus during the combat and make every enemy 100% vulnerable for a short period of time, you'll also see a blue symbol that pops up at the bottom of your screen sometimes, that's a queue that you can use it. it's especially useful in boss fights as they'll turn invincible and shadowy
I thought for a second after only not able to defeat him in last phase for so many trials thats the part i parry for so long and still couldn't defeat him it was frustrating until i focused on the voices and actually tried to focus lol

That's when you can give him good hits with your sword and easily finish him off. When he jumps at you it's far better to roll to the side and attack him when he lands.

Hellblade is the perfect example for an relative simple and easy fighting game but still damn entertaining and satisfying. Like the fighting is so basic and simple and in the end I found it quite easy, but it feels too satisfying to defeat the bosses, yes even the normal enemies. The voices in your head and the feel how Senua is really fighting to survive makes it so immersive that is was just awesome.
When i fought this guy last night for the first time, the camera glitched out and went backward. Couldnt see anything in front of me. Thought it was intentional because of the illusions but i think it added to the experience. At that point i had his attacks timed so i kicked his ass without even seeing him Glitch happened halfway through the fight
took me 3 attempts for him, on third i figured out I can parry so you can parry his swings and if you get a perfect parry (time it right) then he staggers for a bit, roll for his jump attack and parry the blades which deal damage to him haha ive played too many Dark Souls games lol hyped for ELDEN RING: dlc! i was in your shoes 2 years ago when it was released, i bought it for my brother and i never touched it as i didnt like what i saw while my brother was playing...but few weeks ago i was going through my old games and i found it and i wanted to play a game that is lengthy, so i put the disk and i played that game for a complete month, almost 200+ hours spent on it, got all of the achievements and completed the whole game..i got sucked in and now i adore everything about the witcher :D i always say ppl differ in taste, but give this game a 2nd chance and i am sure u will like it

He never reappeared after his first little disappearing act, my camera could move higher than like a 45° angle, and the only thing the voices kept saying were "behind you!" and "where did he go?" This went in for maybe a minute, a struck at empty air a couple times and I "won" 🤷

Same. I found myself parrying easy but on a first try having those unstoppable attacks that won’t do anything but stagger you just sucks. Awesome game but the fights are too far apart in between to stay fluent with the simple yet timely animated combat system. Still love this frustrating game

if only the games block move worked when it was supposed to and things were not random or game elements crashing then this game wouldn't be that tricky. Moves/ timing in this video are not representative of movement on my play through
This fight takes forever in hard mode, my crazy ass has to always take it to the limit. This was a 7 minute fight. On hard mode it felt like 20. Btw it’s not that harder on hard mode you just have to block or parry more. The enemies are not ultra aggressive or anything. It is intense though because of the atmosphere.
my fight was 10 min. He only fight 5 is this easy mode or i was too slow. i dont know my diffuclty because when i check what is it. i saw the auto difficulty and i didnt change it is anybody know what is auto btw. i mean is this good or bad

You can get the plat 1st playthrough if you keep an eye out for all lorestones (the only optional trophy) + they tell cool stories, about 6 hours to finish.
Difficulty only changes fight time. It doesn't make them slower. If you play this game on 30 fps, you will never beat this boss probably. I'm talking for PC because if you get less fps your movements getting slower and you will never be able to dodge-block. What an idiot fight mechanic.
can i skip Boss Fight: Valravyn first part of game great enjoyed but been trying to get past f u ccck ing part for 6 mths. is the a SKIP it ruined the game. and i put it on easy to try no difference.

This is on easy mode. The game is much more intense than this kids settings. Amazing game to play I highly recommend it

Blocking is very important. A well-timed block creates a parry, which makes your subsequent attacks more potent.
