the wooOO here ( 2:04 ) is the same used for casey jr in dumbo
Edit: it may be a bit lower pitch but its very simaler
I love how the exact maximum range is censored by a loud gunfire
Nice anti material rifle
If you made it just 1 second longer, Polish viewers would be so grateful.
Oh boys, u think we German speaker talks like that 😅
Corr. : *Oh boy, u think us German speakers talk like that?*
Gern geschehen, mein Freund. :)
I don’t think Disney really thought that, I think they were just mocking H1tl3r
The tankers are always wondering where the anti-tank gun is, but none of them ask how the anti-tank gun is?
It feels kinda awkward displaying German tanks like that when the LAST thing a allied soldier wanted to see in 1939 was a Panzer II
One word: propaganda.
@@Bileks150 real
I love how for the most part they fail to mention that the Boys anti-tank rifle would be completely ineffective against most of the German tanks they would have been facing at this point in the war, unless they got lucky and were facing a panzer I, II, or III
in 1942 the panzer ii and iii were very much still common, especially around north africa, and the Boys could go through the early panzer ivs at close range too
I’m having serious bf5 AT rifle sniper flashbacks right now
Just think. All you had to do was get within 100 yards of a moving tank that is working in conjunction with infantry. What could be easier.
*Collar bone has left the chat*
Bruno Ganz was stellar in this movie!!!
are those comments some bots? all made 4 months ago
Thx for posting, I don't think this will be added to Disney plus anytime soon.
Eventually, they need to make the PIAT anti tank weapon
To speak gratitude is courteous and pleasant, to enact gratitude is generous and noble, but to live gratitude is to touch Heaven.
1:52 Normally, an attack on Switzerland
I've fired one of those before. A lot of fun, but damn does it kick.
And that's how grandpa went deaf.
PARDON🦻
That is some smooth fragmentation animations for something before computer generated simulations.
The Fins had way better antitank rifles. Ammounition was so big the magazines fit in backpacks, and the guns were on skis, so you could ski way on the recoil.
And 20mm
that sounds crazy
4:40 100 yards! You better not miss become it will be rolling on your quick!
Wow I did not know that Walt Disney made a cartoon with Prime Minister Trudolf in it!!
Zzzzz.....
Now days we learn all the stuff they teach in this cartoon in a video game
7:57 Forward to Attack, Back and Safe to Pack, got it.
Disney's best movie ever! Soldiers, Hitler, guns and tanks in one short movie.
The final cartoon to be directed by Ub Iwerks.
This has gotta be the most accurate depiction of Canada I’ve ever seen
Ah so this is why Disney is so powerful
You know that your equipment is headed for the junkyard when your training film is telling you that a feature (rear sight) is already obsolete.
Ma l'addestramento lo facevano coi cartoni animati?Non ci posso credere.
This film was made before the allies knew that the Germans have a much better tanks that has thicker armor than the Panzer 35, and 38 as shown in the film.
What was not shown in the film is what the sniper should aimed and shot if the enemy has much thicker armor. What should have been included in the training are:
1. Aiming and killing the tank driver. Without the driver. The tank won't move.
2. Aiming and destroying the tank tracks. If the tracks are destroyed on each side. The tank is completely immobilize.
3. Aiming and destroying the tanks engine. Since the tank engine is mounted at the rear. The armor is weaker and can be destroyed by any anti tank rifle. If successful. The tank is History!
But after the introduction of the m1 bazooka in May 1942 and Piat. Anti-tank rifles became less and less popular with the Allied Army.
