Along with "more green onion, more delicious," Aaron and Claire have also convinced me that nearly everything is better with a soft-boiled or fried egg on it. 😋
Bought the hardcover version of the cookbook. I cannot wait! Hope this recipe is included. Everything I have tried has been wonderful, I have a "LUNCH HEATER" that was expensive but has paid for itself many times over and these recipes are perfect for it. I get a hot and flavorful lunch at work and no longer eat fast food. Your recipes are a huge part of that, thank you!
Delicious and easy to make! I made mine a little past my personal spice threshold, so I ate it with a couple glasses of iced tea and needed a few tissues for my nose :) Aaron & Claire and gochujang have been my gateway to Korean dishes. Thank you, Aaron! Thank you, Claire!
Gochujang is the answer to all life’s questions!!! I made this tonight for myself because I had everything already. (I used 21 cloves of garlic). It was sooo good!! Your cookbook has become my favorite of any others I own. Korean food, best ever! 🎉🎉🎉⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Made this tonight with ground turkey and it was good as expected but the muchim dressing over some spring mix and shredded carrots 😗👌♥️ sensational. Also threw in some avocado chunks which go amazingly with any Gochujang sauce
Made this recipe last week, my first time cooking with gochujang. I was a bit nervous, but Aaron and Claire have never steered me wrong. It was amazing!
Spicy deliciousness!! I have recently discovered your channel, and my first introduction to Korean food. This is the second recipe I have tried, and can attest that there is no such thing as too much garlic. Thank you for sharing and giving me the confidence to try something new 💗
I’m satisfied just WATCHING you two but I know I’m making this ASAP! I’ve collected your Korean recommendation sauces and I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve been eating these since I found you. So delicious- I love your flavors!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Just made this with a pound of ground turkey and a pack of tofu I cut into tiny cubes and pan fried. Mixed it together and doubled the sauce. Soooooo delicious and so versatile omg i cannot wait to eat this through out the week with rice and fresh vegetables. Would also be really good as a meat sauce for spaghetti! Thank you for sharing such easy and delicious Korean recipes Aaron! Your channel brings me so much joy
I'm sure it was pointed out before but Chickory is a family of plants and the tops are endive, and the root is called chickory. The root is roasted and used to make the unique strong coffees from New Orleans. Cafe Du Monde is the most known. Don't worry 'bout it but try it sometime
I'm wondering something. I LOVE fresh kimchi which of course, is a staple with any Korean food. However, finding some of the spices necessary where I live is difficult. Is there an easier way to make kimchi using the bottle of gojuchang and fresh garluc, ginger, etc? I live in rural Tennessee and there are not many who have tried Korean food. I would love to surprise my neighbours with a variety of dishes to try and this will definitely be on the list!
This is the kind of simple recipe that I'm always looking for. I've made a similar salad to the one in this video and can confirm that it's incredibly good.
Sorry if I am late to this but, I made this today it was delicious I added fried eggs instead of boiled ones and I made the salad with cabbage it was just so good I am making this again I am 11 btw. .. hopefully will make this again thanks❤
Made this last night and it was really delicious. A little spicy for some, but really tasty. I know it calls for sesame seeds, but I also think adding peanuts would be a great textural element. It needs a tiny bit of crunch.
Only had one chicken thigh left so I improvised by adding in some firm tofu….still SO DAMN GOOD! Next time I’ll do all chicken, but definitely a make again!
Looks incredible, I can divide chicken after put sauce, ho half without added chilies, some in family like hot but not too hot, I'm starting to use gochujang in non Korean dishes, any videos coming or ideas? Keep up good work 👍
Awesome, I wanna try it out!! :) I just wanted to get some stuff but it seems the link for the chili flakes is not working.....most stuff on Amazon here is only powder not flakes. So, does it make a huge difference to have only powder instead of flakes?
I'm not Korean but I always use that much garlic. It's normal. It doesn't taste bad because it blends in with the flavors and becomes more fragrant and flavorful.
This gonna go well with some crispy fried egg. I'm meal planning my lunch boxes. Gonna make heaps and freeze them over so i can grab and go, and then reheat it in the office.
I made this for lunch and it’s so good. I was too scared of the spicy level after seeing the colour of the sauce so I added one spoon of extra sugar lol 😂 ( next time I’m going to make it super spicy ) I made cucumber salad and it’s our favourite cucumber salad ever. Thanks a lot. Keep it up! God bless you two! I will try out other rice recipes also 🙌
My knifes aren't sharp enough to chop mince the chicken, but mixing the chicken meat from thighs and breast sounds good and makes sense as breast meat can be dry while frying. 👍🏼 Definitely have to make this looks delicious 😋.... Just watching this video after a very long week and day I'm starving.
Aaron how could this recipe be in my cookbook if you never made it before? Do you think I follow other Korean chefs on UA-cam? Nah, this is not happening. You recipes are the best I won't go somewhere else. I even come here for Japanese and Chinese recipes when you have them! Anyway... what's for dessert?
Aaron... I love the way you cook and I have made many of your recipes! Thank You! I have a question... The hard boiled egg with the soft yolk... How many minutes? Marty in New Jersey (close to NYC). Also I LOVE Gochujang! I never even knew about it! Thanks!
6 to 7 minutes with a gentle boil but the amount of water and how many eggs you are using, they all matter, so please check out this recipe for more details! 😁👍 aaronandclaire.com/mayak-eggs-korean-marinated-eggs-recipe/
Chicory grows well in Australia, not many people use it. This is a MAGIC recipe thanks. The thighs with breast will make a big difference from just minced chicken. Luv it!
"Don't worry 'bout it." I will smile every time.
Barely an inconvenience!
Agreed
Still gonna be good!
Along with "more green onion, more delicious," Aaron and Claire have also convinced me that nearly everything is better with a soft-boiled or fried egg on it. 😋
Exactly! 🤣😁
“Trust me!!!!!”
Delicious!! I've made this several times, but finally remembered to comment. These guys are the champs of quick Korean cooking!
Try ground pork taste way better
This guy is in my list of top notch cooks. Just too good. His explanation is also so simple to understand.

This is so easy and looks amazing! Love the salad ideas, too. Chicken thighs are always good. 🤩❤

This is perfect. My home garden chilies are just ripening. I'll try this out tomorrow once I pick them.
Thanks for the recipe! If I may suggest something for further videos: also include your sauces in the beginning's ingredient list.
Just made finished making it and wow is it good! Will be serving it for a dinner party along with bulgogi and banchan
Sounds like a perfect plan! Thanks for enjoying our recipes, Steve! 😁👍
Hands down one of the best stir fry's I've ever made.
I always try these recipes with a vegan version; instead of meat, I use textured soy protein. it always tastes delicious!
Garlic makes me happy! 💞💞💞💞
Love the idea of transforming this into a taco (or burrito)

Hey Aaron and CLaire, where can I purchase the plate on bowl from that I are using in this video?
really was looking forward to making this for meal prep but the website for the written recipe has been down all week.

Got some ground chicken in the freezer waiting to be used, looks like it’s gonna be made into this bad boy.
is Taekyung red pepper the same as Gochujang pepper powder?
I want Claire's job!
Yes! That’s Korean chili pepper flakes called gochugaru (고춧가루). You can totally use that one! 😊
