Hi Cysters! In this video, I show you all the essential ingredients I include in my pantry to make eating for PCOS easier. Let me know in the comments, what ingredients or foods help with your PCOS symptoms and journey?
Can you do a video about reducing androgens, please? That would be life-saving for me. I know you spoke about spearmint tea. Are there similar kind of food, spices like this?
Not me over here having IBS and major food sensitivities and chronic sinusitis triggered by most of these foods. Chickpeas are my fav and is the worst of all legumes for me, the only nuts I can eat that don’t give me random cystic acne is walnuts and pecans but they still cause gut inflammation. Too high fiber items causes me bloating, gas, and major pain. Can’t forget fermented foods… greek yogurt, apple cider vinegar, hell even kimchi and saurkraut are a major no no and cause a histamine response for me and even most vegetables and fruits are problem causing. The IBS and stomach issues was passed down through 3 generations. My grandmother and I share almost identical stomach issues.. she is 80+ years old and still discovering foods she just can’t digest.
I watched a video a while back that said grinding up chia seeds in a blender helps us to absorb the omega 3 even more so I do that first then add them to my smoothie in the morning : )
I love how funny and light hearted your content is. It really makes the concept around conquering PCOS less shameful and more victorious. I really needed this because I was syncing down a hole - I’ve learned I’m not a victim and my body is so special it requires a specialized diet. 🎉❤ Thank you for creating a safe space for women with PCOS ❤
I just discovered your videos and am so happy I did! Thank you for giving me the idea about buckwheat noodles. As an Asian with PCOS it has been difficult to find an alternative to noodles which were a staple of my diet. I'm going to download your app for recipes. Would love if you have more content and recipes on Asian recipes as most of what is available is geared more towards a western diet. Appreciate you!
Hi Cyster! I stumbled upon your YT channel and I just want to let you know that your vids really help me a lot dealing with PCOS. I went to my OB-GYN, did some tests and transvag ultrasound as I thought I was pregnant but hell yeah I have PCOS 😅 I missed my period. I also notice that it's difficult for me to loose weight, sleep, and I have this strange facial hair which I dont have before. It's been years since I'm ignoring the signs like painful menstrual period, sweet cravings after meals, and being overweight though I've been trying low-carb diet. Im still a work in progress, we all do. Happy to share this journey with you! ♥️
Do try Berberine and myo inositol. The first helped with my insulin resistance (which helped me lose weight) and the second helps so much with my inflammation and periods pain/ hirsutism. I used to look pregnant too! So I understand the struggle!
Also your skin is glowing, van you do a video about your skin routine or supplements you take for it etc....my skin keeps has dark spots on the right cheeks and i keep getting new ones every so often. Can you recommend anything, or what is your advice with regard to that?
Thank you so much!! I actually did a video a few weeks back on my skincare regimen and PCOS-friendly products I use and love! ua-cam.com/video/yrekY5vgS0E/v-deo.html
Hi i've recently been diagnosed with PCOS i will try to stick to some tips but for food i live with my parents and they control the food in the house and i can't get a gym membership but i do try and be active and go for walks
4:17 you mention cacao nibs here and i haven’t tried those yet i hear they’re pretty yummy! i’ve tried carab as a chocolate substitute. would you recommend it? ❤❤❤ thank you for this content!
Say I go dairy free and it helps... What about after I finally get pregnant? Do I stay dairy free? Do I go back to eating dairy? Supplements? Is there ways to get calcium aside from dairy? That's a big concern for me.
You can start to re-introduce dairy to see if it impacts you! If it does, then that's a sign that you may want to stay dairy-free or you may learn that you can have a certain amount of dairy 💖 it's all about finding the balance that is right for you and your body!
Hi, could you please suggest people having PCOS and IBS. What should they replace certain food? Like I can't take green veggies, chick peas, lentils. They all cause me bloating. Please advise. Thank you
Do I have to go dairy free, or can I do lactose free instead? I haven't found a dairy free milk that I can stand, they all taste pretty awful to me. But Lactose free milks I've noticed don't cause bloating and still taste like milk
hiI! been trying to eat healthier with pcos recently :) is an earl gray with stevia and coconut milk healthy/good for pcos?? from my research it should be, but i'm not sure if what i've read is correct thus far?
Where do you typically shop at? I live in a small town where we only have a Walmart and Brookshires that do not carry some of the products you mentioned. I’m assuming I could just order them?
I have a question, I'm a trans man (no hate pls) I was diagnosed with pcos at age 10 . I have been on testosterone therapy for 2 years and I have only now realised I need to change things in order to lose the weight I need to to be healthy. I need to know if it's possible for me to still go on hormone therapy, and still lose the weight by following your advice ? Or is it impossible? Please this is extremely important.
This is late and I'm not 100% sure but I'd suggest trying the diet changes and see if any work! If not u can also get bloodwork done to see what vitamins and etc u could be lacking, I hope it goes well!!
Is the dairy free yogurt made of soy? Bc soy is one of these things that either work for you or completely WRECK you and for me it's unfortunately the ladder 😅
This is a great question! Every body is different and some changes take time! Most start feeling better within a couple weeks and see more significant changes in their symptoms and weight loss within about 3 months 💕
Well, feeling how it began to shrink and eventually disappear within 2 months was so liberating. I followed the steps I mentioned, and within the first 2 weeks the bloating was gone. I simply go'ogled Tilly Strankten's Ovarian Cyst Guide and it's like I hit the feel-good reset button lol.

I read that soy sauce that has been fermented is even safe for celiacs. Not sure of the source though.
Where do you typically shop at? I live in a small town where we only have a Walmart and Brookshires that do not carry some of the products you mentioned. I’m assuming I could just order them?
Whole Foods is my go-to, but you should be able to find many of these items at any major grocery store (other brands are ok too!)
Walmart actually has a ton of the products at Whole Foods has! For a lot cheaper too!
I’m a vegetarian, it makes it so much harder for me to have anything to eat if I eliminate gluten and dairy.
I'm with you. Finding resources feels next to impossible but I'm staying hopeful. Wishing you luck on your journey, friend ❤️

Oh no! So sorry that happened! Yes, as with any sweetener, it is best in moderation
Is it common to see no results or does it take time in terms of weight

Yes! Peanut butter is a great source of protein, just make sure that it doesn't have added sugars or oils 🥰
