Thanks for that SM57 on the snare - it makes evaluation much more feasible. Great sounding drum, competent microphone placement, killer chops. How could a hoser go wrong?
Hi, thanks for the video! Can you (or anyone else who’s also knowledgeable) explain to a noob what sets this snaredrum (shell) apart from other chrome snares? As in, what makes it sound better. Is it the material or construction or? Legitimate question.
I actually don’t know the answer as to why one drum can potentially sound so much better or worse than another! Definitely an interesting topic though!
