Today's performance video is the Sleeping Beauty Wedding Pas de Deux. I am 21 here, my partner is Tyler Angle, & we are dancing with Mobile Ballet. I had just been promoted to soloist with New York City Ballet at this point. This video is the full pas de deux, Aurora's variation, and the coda.

I am soloist with Miami City Ballet a former soloist with the New York City Ballet. When I was a young student, I was always looking for insights into the ballet world and how to improve my dancing as well as beauty and lifestyle tips. Now that I am a professional, it is my turn to share.
On my channel I make ballet, beauty, and lifestyle videos for everyone of all ages. My goal is help dancers improve and achieve their dreams as well as open up the ballet world to non dancers. I do have to say this is the most graceful ballerina to ever come out of NYCB. I am not a fan of the way NYCB dancers carry themselves, esp. in what concerns the upper body, but Ms Morgan has such a beautiful, delicate port de bras. Expressive hands with almost no tension in them. Congrats
I wanted to read through comments before I commented on this piece- but you have said it so well, I will simply agree. The clarity of her technique and yes, expression without tension is lovely to watch.

one of the best Aurora's ive ever seen. I'm going to see the Arizona Ballet's sleeping beauty on valentines day with my boyfriend ( he got me the tickets for christmas, best boyfriend ever) and i can only hope the Arizona ballet's leading lady is as talented an artist as you are... Bravo

+Kathryn Morgan Hey Kathryn, quick question. Does the New York City Ballet do the same dance each performance? Like let's say, 10 years from now, they'll do the same Sleeping Beauty performance?

I am not a dancer so i have no idea what the standards are (I know they are very high) but i can tell this shows amazing technique and I'm completely in awe! This is so graceful and elegant and i can't take my eyes away from the screen! Im fascinated by the amount of effort and skill this takes to do and I'm very impressed! WOW! :D

Wow! You captured the regalness of Princess Aurora. Most principal dancers are doing the steps and not trying to be Princess Aurora. Can you show other videos of your Mobile performances when you were in the NYC ballet?
I don't think I've seen anything more beautiful. This is amazing. I'm a shy little ballerina. I have watched this so many times. It's amazingly beautiful. Being Aurora you have to get fall in love with being this character and being this period on stage. Your body just gracefully moves and it's beautiful. I wish I had you for privates because your amazing.

I'm not a dancer, but (maybe because I'm a musician so I'm just generally interested in all sorts of performing arts) I really love and appreciate your videos! I was never a great fan of ballet until just recently when I discovered all sorts of those videos made by dancers/ballet companies that gave me the insight, I love to know what's behind everything that I'm watching!
I love how you try to help other dancers and how you share your knowledge, and it's great that you can put it into words that also non-dancers can find interesting.

Another lovely performance! I think that may be my favorite version and performance of that variation, your upper body was made for that diagonale. Must be some very lovely memories.
Watched the nutcracker in november of last year... Tyler peck and Tyler angle were cast as tyler peck as; sugar and Tyler angle as Sugars cavalier !!! Outstanding Ballet 🖐️ in dallas..... Cant wait to be the role of sugar cavalier.. last year I was the sugarplums Page 1 out of the three and only 15 yrs old ballet master in my Dance Academy
