I have seen many Sleeping Beauty pas de deux. I say this is the most beautiful that I have seen. They performed sublimely that surpassed the required demand. I have to add that I always watch the gentleman's simple 5th position into the jumps. The ascension and descension of his jumps of the VERY CLOSED TIGHT 5th position is VERY RARE to see in a performance. What a pleasure to enjoy his pure excellence of ease of that simple 5th position that takes a constant basic repeated practice through one's dance life. Many men have not accomplished his level of clean CLOSED positioning. They are both a wow and hug my heart!

I have just watched Lauren and Sergei dance the Pas de Deux from Sleeping Beauty and it was quite beautiful. It was a great pleasure to talk to Lauren yesterday at Alexandra Palace and meet Peggy and her partner. John and I met at Alexandra Palace and had our first dance together there in 1967.
