Bruce and the E street band have NO equals
Like many others who have commented, I was at The Summit that night and was totally blown away. I seem to recall The Moody Blues played the night before or night after. Anyway, I started working at the Summit about three weeks later, the start of a 43 year career in the venue management business. I recently retired and my wife gave me a T shirt that proudly proclaimed "I MAY BE OLD BUT I GOT TO SEE ALL THE COOL BANDS". So true and Bruce is at the top. I know everyone of my generation feels the same way. We were truly blessed!

This is what makes Bruce the greatest. He can take a great 4 and a half minute album cut and turn it into a 12 minute rock n roll spectacle. It also explains those 3 plus hour shows. He's The Boss.
This the best version of She’s the One...hands down...classic Bruce and the Big Man!!! He stole my rock and roll heart in 1975 and still owns it ❤️
I love Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band! This performance was great. And one thing I loved most about this performance is that someone from the audience asked “how mad” and Bruce actually listened to his audience and repeated what they asked and replied back! Like not many artists take notice to their fans in the audience but Bruce and im sure the others in the E Street Band pay attention to their audience. They are Legendary performers.
The greatest rock musician of all time, followed pretty much all his career from here in Wales, UK. Respect Boss!!!

This is genius. A masterpiece. I though the Landover version was the one. I was wrong.
I was there that night and this was the concert that made me a Bruce fan for
this is why i am obsessed with the concerts from the darkness on the edge of town tour. i love that on this tour "she's the one" was set up as an homage to the history of the bo diddley beat. bruce is such a rock n roll nerd he played snippets of all the famous songs with that beat ending with "she's the one". what a gift it has been that bruce is releasing official versions of all his iconic bootlegs, it has made my life as a younger bruce fan much easier (he started releasing them right around the time i started prowling the internet for bootlegs with decent audio). every iconic bootleg from this tour has a FANTASTIC version of "she's the one". BUT THIS ONE. i love that over the course of the tour it evolved into this. it still starts with a version of "mona" as many of the other performances did, but DAMN what he did to it! he is so great at bringing the audience with him on a ride and telling a little mini story within the intro of the song. PERFECTION. and then we get "she's the one" which is such a fantastic live track, has there ever been a bad performance of that song? i don't think so. AND THEN the whole bit he does with clarence at the end, they are just having so much fun. this is one of those recordings that really captures why bruce is so truly the real deal. he understands that great music is never just one thing, it is all the things. a celebration of the good, the bad, the serious, the silly, the joy, and the pain, the intensity of what it feels like to be truly alive! i know i feel so truly alive when hear performances like this. it is such a gift that i am able to experience even a fraction of what that audience felt. thanks bruce
Man...oh....MAN! You can see the love on the stage those guys have for each other! How blessed is that band to have each other and how blessed are the rest of us for having them giving us a soundtrack wrap around our lives. God Bless the Big Man and Dan. They are warming up the next stage for a concert we will all eventually be privileged to attend. Thank you Boss and Thank you E-Street Band, one and all, past and present! We have seen the face of Rock and Roll and it is still you!
